Poem in Progress/First Draft/Brainstorm

I woke up in the middle of the night and words were spinning around in my mind...rough draft/brain dump but I'm in love with it so far :)

I can’t believe you almost slipped through my fingers

Not my typical type

But saying yes was the best decision

I’ve ever made

In my life

So far

I’m realizing that I’ve never felt this warmth before

The pure euphoric bliss I get before

I fall asleep

With you

If I knew how this would feel I wouldn’t have been torn apart by any lovers before

For the longest Time I thought love was a connection through pain

An over whelming psychedelic drug

That made you feel insane

But when I touch you I sink deep into the ground

Rooted as our vines begin to twist all around

I feel the peace of the breeze as it ruffles our leaves

Thats euphoria to me

I see now all the connections I’ve had were fabricated

By my need to be loved

But this was woven in the divine fabric

by the angels from above
