A kagehina first kiss one shot

Ok, before we start, I have to say that English is not my first language and you’ll probably find lots of errors, it’s not really good and I couldn’t make any direct connection to the serie, because I still have to see it all and something could have been inaccurate.

I also have the feeling that Kageyama and Hinata are a bit out of character here lol.

I’m not really good at writing too.

The night was falling upon the rest of the town as a ginger boy and a black-haired one watched the lights on the street, turning on to the sight of the dark. the two of them were laughing and talking about the past, and the sweet old times with their teammates flowed in their words, they were no longer high-schoolers, no longer classmates and no longer teammates, just friends... it felt very weird at the time, maybe because they didn't graduate that long ago, it was just a month before, but since then it felt like those two had lost something, it could have been the thought of taking separate roads, or the thought of not being able to see each other anymore, but there was something... a thin feeling of melancholy. "Kageyama... I told you to meet here because I have something important to tell you" Hinata started as the mood went dark "the first time I saw you at the middle school tournament, I was really angry at you and wanted to defeat you and stuff... and I was even angrier when I discovered that you were going to attend karasuno too... but during the past three years I learned that I couldn't defeat someone that was on the same side of the court as mine and you became my friend... but now I don't know if we'll share the same side anymore... it's just kinda sad" his words started to sound a little off as he talked, while Kageyama was listening to him, paying not too much attention. "I think we've created some kind of special connection, and it's strange... " his cheeks turned pink as soon as those words came out of his mouth, he never talked like this to kageyama, it felt like blowing away each of his concern, he was feeling completely free now, talking to his dearest friend. "Who knows if we'll be able to do our quick strike anymore... " asked hinata without expecting any answer "why don't we try it one more time? " Hinata looked at his friend a bit surprised as he continued to talk "you know, we could ask some kids to borrow their ball and do it one more time..." suddenly something moved inside Hinata; he immediately agreed with the idea and some minutes later they were in front of three kids borrowing a soccer ball. "It's slightly heavier than the ball we usually play with, but that doesn't matter." after those words no more talking was needed, they started playing as if it was their last time together; kageyama setted and Hinata striked, the way it's always been, and each time the ball touched the grass, a feeling of freedom rushed trough their veins, as they imagined it going to the other side of the net, hitting the ground with a familiar sound. That moment seemed that the time had been stopped, but when the sun was fully setted and replaced by the moon, they stopped and returned the ball to the children, who were watching all along amazed by the two's skill. they returned to the bench they were before, with the look lost in the view; The atmosphere went melancholic one more time, as the two of them looked in each other's eyes. "I'm gonna miss you, Tobio..." said Hinata weakly, almost whispering "stop with all this sentimental shit, I know you're gonna miss me, you stupid... what is going on with you? you litteraly called me here for nothing just because you feel depressed" he paused for a bit expecting hinata to respond, hoping to have pissed him off, but continued, not receiving any answer."Listen up Shoyo, now that it's just you and me, I think you've been a good friend and a good rival and you'll always be, what's the matter of which side of the court we're in, you're so stupid, just the most idiot being on this planet... Thou I have to confess that I tought about it too, but not think about it so much... stupid tangerin." "I just don't know what's happening, yesterday when I was thinking about you and our graduation I had this strange feelings burning in my stomach and I suddenly wanted to be near you, and thought about all this stuff that I just wanted to tell you... I want to stay with you a little longer, I don't want to end all of this now: every success, every lost, every...I don't know, just everything... They were success and lost to our team, but sometimes they were more for us... I just can't explain all of this, I just have thousands of thoughts about us..." Kageyama immediately blushed "y-you really don't know what's going on...w-well I...I think you kinda..." the rest of his words were barely audible. "Eh?" "I said that I-I think you l-lake me...I mean you look me..." "are you stupid? what does that mean?" "SHUT UP TANGERINE I SAID THAT I THINK YOU LIKE ME" Hinata, completely red, covered his mouth as everyone who passed by looked at them. "Oh my god just shut up... this is so embarrassing..." they both stayed awkwardly silent on the bench, both red as peppers, for something like five minutes. "I like you too, Hinata..." he looked at him with a strange smile and a huge blush on his face, Which made Hinata laugh really hard. "You look so strange when you smile" "Stupid..." It was a beautiful night then, the trees shaked under a pleasurable wind, a far sound of music echoed under the full moon, all around the bench moths flyed around reaching out for the light, but nothing stopped their thinking, lost in the moment that just passed. "I think we should return home now" said Hinata slowly "I'll walk you home" They started walking keeping silent until they came across Hinata's house. "Well thanks for coming...see you next time" as soon as he turned to say goodbye Kageyama surprised him by smacking his lips right into Hinata's, and running away leaving him shoked outside his house. The ginger guy watched him while he was walking away with a strong blush on his face. "Think of what I said before!" Kageyama yelled, then turned around one last time before vanishing in the dark, with pink shades and a beautiful smile on his face not an hilarious one just...more "true"...more spontaneous. Seeing this hinata smiled back, even if he couldn't see, but he immediately knew he really fell in love.
