Here's the finished fic for this idea: https://archiveofourown.org/works/53587945
I really like the concept of Caelus being an Emanator. I might revisit the idea again, maybe as an Emanator of a different Aeon.

Caelus, an Emanator of Nanook, sat in an empty wasteland, just outside the boundaries of where Nanook resided. He waited alone for countless days, waiting until the Astral Express showed up. It was not his mirror copy that he first lay his eyes on, not the dimension hopper, not the navigator, not Fuli's chosen, no, he set his sight first on the one he had fallen in love with so long ago.
"Dan Heng," he greeted as he stood up, ignoring the way the Astral Express members immediately drew their weapons out and pointed them at him. "It's been a while."
"Caelus," Dan Heng greeted back, yet his spear remained pointed at the Emanator. "It has."
Caelus raised his hands in mock surrender. "I'm not here to fight. I just want to talk. Shall we go somewhere a little more private, Dan Heng?"
"Talk!? You must be insane if we're letting you talk to Dan Heng alone!" March shouted and Stelle nodded her head in agreement.
Yet, Dan Heng stepped forward, his spear lowered and dispersing into particles when he stowed it away. "Okay," he said, much to the shock of March and Stelle.
Before anyone else could protest, Welt Yang placed his hand on Dan Heng's shoulder, drawing the latter's attention. "Are you sure?" he asked and Dan Heng nodded his head. "Then go. We will wait until you return."
"Thank you, Mr. Yang."
Caelus led Dan Heng to an outcrop nearby, far enough that they would not be heard but close enough that the Astral Express crew could keep an eye on both of them.
"Caelus, what do you want to talk about?" Dan Heng asked and Caelus let out a huff of amusement.
"Straight to the point huh? I guess, I just want to say, thanks. I'm glad that I was able to meet you. I'm glad that we were able to talk, hang out, and well, I really enjoyed your company back then. And well... I'm glad I fell in love with you, even if it didn't work out in the end."
"Caelus..."
"So yeah... good luck fighting the big boss. He's pretty tough but hey, he's an Aeon so no surprises there. I won't stop you and everyone else. So go for it, there's no one left standing in your way anymore."
"Caelus... This... This isn't goodbye right?"
Caelus smiled. "Dan Heng, you already know the answer to that question."
Dan Heng lowered his head, unable to watch the sadness on Caelus' face.
"Why me?" he asked and Caelus laughed.
"Because you're special."
Was that all it was to it? Because he was special?
"Hey Dan Heng," Caelus said and Dan Heng raised his head at the sound of his name. "Do you think that we could have been friends in a different life?"
"No," Dan Heng said without hesitation and his hands reached out to cup Caelus by the cheeks, stopping him from turning away and forcing the Emanator to meet his gaze. "We would have been lovers still. No matter the life we lead or the worlds we live in, we would have found each other and fallen in love in every single one."
Caelus teared up and Dan Heng pulled the man into a hug. He ignored the sobs and the wet stain on his clothes. He closed his eyes and pretended that there was no one else but him and Caelus in this wasteland, pretending that there was no impending doom looming over them.
"Will I see you again?" Dan Heng asked and Caelus choked on his tears.
"...You already know the answer to that question, Dan Heng."

January ko-fi fic!
For the xiaother big bang I wrote a fic called A tu Lado (By Your side), and I had two scenes I had to cut:
Scene #1 is a scene I had to rewrite because the tone wasn't right for that part of the story. You can read it for free HERE.
Warnings for gore, temporal death.
Small snippet:
He could have saved him, he couldn’t help but think as the blood cooled around them. It would have been so easy to pluck him from the air and into the safety of his arms if only he’d been there to save him. But he had been too late.
Scene #2 is the second one that expanded on some of the Twins' lore but would have made this story exorbitantly longer. And it is January's reward for any and all ko-fi supporters! You can find it HERE
It features lore, Venti, and Lumine!
Small snippet:
Barbatos laughed, and it was painful to hear. “We fought for you, and this is the thanks I get.” Aether did not yet understand, but he still lowered his eyes, chastised by the girl in the mirror. “I fell asleep.” Venti said, in a softer voice. “A slumber of five hundred years. And my dearest friend, the one who fought with me, for me, suffered for that long. Will you cast your judgment on me?” “I’m sorry.” Venti made a dismissive gesture as he sat down beside him, cradling him with his wings, like Lumine had done, so long ago.
Reblogs appreciated!

What if Wriothesley keeps all the stickers he found stuck on himself and every time he visits Neuvillette or when Neuvillette visits him, he would take out his collection to show them off to him? Like he'll pull out a thick sticker book and point to a sticker and go "I'm proud of this one, it took me three weeks to find it."
Then Neuvillette sticks a sticker on Wriothesley and he never removes it even after someone points it out to him.

Xiao stared at the words on the piece of paper in his hand. It was a simple poem, only a few stanzas long, and handwritten with shaking hands as though the owner was nervous as they wrote the words down. Xiao had read the poem, over and over, until the words themselves were engraved into his mind.
“A poem for you,” Aether said before pressing a slip of paper into the yaksha’s hands and leaping off to glide down to join in the festivities below. Xiao had no time to stop him, only reaching out with his hands and with words stuck at the back of his throat. What did he want to say back then? ‘Sorry, I cannot accept’? Or ‘thank you for the gift’? He had forgotten the moment his eyes fell upon the piece of paper, upon the words engraved in ink on the thin sheet.
Xiao gazed up at the orange-painted sky. It had been noon when Aether dropped by and now the sun was setting, the stars would soon take its place in the sky. Where had the time gone when he was reading the poem over and over?
A sudden gust of wind yanked the paper out of his hand and took it away into the sky. Xiao watched as the white reflecting the setting orange fluttered in the air, out of his immediate reach. It danced with the wind, playful, taunting, and Xiao snatched the paper out of nature's hands when he leaped into the sky. The wind teased him as the gust pushed him when he landed back on the rooftop with the slip of paper in his hand. His grip was tight and no gale would pull it out of his grasp again.
“Xiao!”
The yaksha looked down at the call of his name, unsurprised to find Aether grinning at him from the balcony. He leaped off from the rooftop, landing on his feet in front of the Traveller who ran over and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
“Aether,” Xiao greeted with a soft smile on his face after Aether pulled away.
“I saw you jumping up and grabbing something.”
“Ah… Your poem. It was caught by the wind.”
“Oh? Maybe it wanted to have a look too.”
Xiao hummed. Not an agreement but not a disagreement either.
“Do you like the poem? What do you think of it?” Aether asked and Xiao was at a loss for an answer.
“I… like the poem but I am… unfamiliar with poetry.”
“That’s fine. I’m not that good with poetry either, I just wanted to write them,” Aether said before strolling over to the edge of the balcony to lean forward against the railings. “One for my family, one for my friends, and one for my lover.”
“What?”
Aether turned around to face Xiao with a sad smile on his face. “One for my family, for my sister who I want to reunite with one day,” he explained. “One for my friends, for all the people I met on my journey. And one for my lover, you whom I love more than everything else.”
“Oh.”
Aether walked over and wrapped his hands around Xiao and Xiao closed his eyes, allowing himself to feel the familiar warmth he loved so much.
“I will write more for you even if you do not understand them. One for my family, one for my friends, and one for my lover. Three poems and only one who can read it.”
“Then I will keep reading them, all of your poems, even if I do not understand. And one day, when I finally do, I will write one for my family, one for my friends, and one for my lover.”
Aether pulled away, just far enough so he could lean in to kiss Xiao on the lips. The slip of paper in Xiao’s hand fluttered down to the floor at the yaksha’s loose grip before it was taken away by a playful gust of wind. Yet, Xiao did not mind because he had already committed those words into his memory.
“I look forward to reading it one day,” Aether said once they broke the kiss.

Neuvithesley/Wriolette Baker AU
Wriothesley owns a bakery, a quaint little place in a small neighbourhood. The people are friendly and life was great. Then one day, a guy dressed in a fine suit walked into his shop to buy a bottle of water and nothing else. Wriothesley put it off as just a one time weird occurrence except the guy came back again the next day to buy a bottle of water and nothing else.
Who is this gentleman dressed in fine clothes that were probably worth more than twice of anything he earned in a month? Why the heck does he only buy a bottle of water? And from a bakery of all places?

What if Caelus is a lord ravager and snuck into Xianzhou to destroy it but he fell in love with Dan Heng so he only partially destroyed it.
"Why?" Dan Heng asked as the fire blazed all around him.
"Because you're mine. Do you like my gift?" he asked, laughing at the chaos he brought to the Xianzhou Alliance. "One day, you will see the beauty in destruction. One day, you will join me. So carve this sight into your memories forever and remember who caused it."

Caelus looked at Blade with the biggest, most heartbreaking, puppy dog eyes he could muster but the man remained firm.
"No," he said with a finality that spoke no argument.
"But-!"
"No."
"I-"
"No."
Of course, it would have helped if the other Stellaron Hunters would stop encouraging Caelus but no, why would they do that? Sam and Elio could care less what their metaphorical racoon Stellaron Hunter would do as long as everyone followed the script. Kafka kept pampering her adopted son. Silver Wolf thought it was funny.
"It's just one!"
"Say that to the other three trash cans you kept in your room."
Really, how was it that Blade was the one who had to stop Caelus from kidnapping trash cans off the street? If anyone told him that he would find himself babysitting a racoon, he would have cut them down for even suggesting that. Why was Caelus even obsessed with trash cans anyway?
"Please?"
"No!"

The land of Fontaine was filled with beauty and water as far as the eye could see. Aether should be happy, excited even to explore the new country but he was unable to bring himself to smile. Paimon was chattering away and he tried his best not to dampen her spirit but even she could tell that her friend was not happy at all.
“Aether, what’s wrong?” she asked when she floated in front of him, forcing him to stop in the middle of the street.
“I… I don’t know. I just feel… I don’t know how to describe it.” How could he describe that empty feeling inside? The longing for something or someone that was not there. He missed his sister, he missed his home, he missed his wings, he missed… “I miss Xiao,” he said.
How long ago had he been to Liyue? He had not stopped by that country ever since he set out for Sumeru and now he was in a different country without having gone back.
“Then let’s go find him at Wangshu Inn!” Paimon suggested and Aether was surprised at the suggestion.
“But you were excited to explore Fontaine…”
“Well yeah but Fontaine isn’t going anywhere so we can just come back later.”
Paimon was deliberately not pointing out the brewing rumours of the Fatui in the underworld of Fontaine that they heard prior to entering the country nor the fact that they were supposed to meet up with the Archon instead of sidetracking.
“Oh, we should get Xiao a souvenir!”
That was… a good idea but what would Xiao want? Normally he would cook a batch of Almond Tofu for the yaksha and he knew Xiao would not complain about anything he cooked…
“Paimon knows! What about ice cream?”
Ice cream? Aether’s eyes fell upon the ice cream cart that his companion was pointing to and immediately he imagined his beloved eating the delicious treat. He giggled to himself at the image before accepting Paimon’s suggestion.
He bought two cones and gave one to Paimon as thanks for her help before teleporting with her to Wangshu Inn. Aether made his way up to the balcony while Paimon went off to beg Smiley Yanxiao for food.
The balcony was empty but Aether knew Xiao was sitting on the roof.
“Xiao,” he called out and a second later, the yaksha appeared in front of him in a gust of wind.
“Ae-” Before Xiao could finish saying his name, Aether shoved the ice cream into his mouth, making him take a bite out of the cold treat before Aether took the dessert away. “Aether,” he said in annoyance after swallowing.
“Is it nice?” he asked before licking the same ice cream that Xiao took a bite from.
“Could be sweeter,” Xiao answered, making Aether nod in agreement. Then without any warning, Aether leaned in and kissed Xiao on the lips. When Aether pulled away, he licked his lips, making the yaksha blush in embarrassment.
“You’re right,” Aether said with a teasing smile. “It could be sweeter.”
