a/n : mod clown is back for a little bit to do some writing! reader's gender is intended to be fem-aligned however its not explicitly stated. sorry that this is a little bit shorter and bland than my normal posts, my brain didn't wanna work with me when writing this :o( hope this is still good!

• At first, Hunter was a little puzzled by your behavior. Sure, it might be a bit hypocritical of him, considering his strong interest in humans, but he still felt a little awkward about your child-like wonder. Why are you so curious about him, a witch that can't even preform magic?

• On the outside he presents himself as annoyed by your presence, on the inside he's trying to still properly process what exactly is happening.

• When you start trying to touch his ears he gets very flustered, blabbering his mouth into the abyss while waving his hands around. He's so so embarrassed that he doesn't have his mask to cover up his face, poor boy's blushing from his neck to ears.

• He doesn't even know how it happened but you wound up just sticking with him. You didn't really have anywhere else to go so you decided to simply stay with this interesting boy until you can get back on your feet in this weird world. One minute he meets some strange girl outside and next thing he knows he has a new secret roommate!

• Overtime he does get used to your behavior, he understands you don't have any malicious intents and are simply just a curious human girl in a strange world. Your baby duckling behavior even starts to grow on him. What he thought before as confusing and a bother he now sees as cute and endearing.

• You're a curious human and he's a curious witch. You'll answer his questions about humans and in returns he tells you about witches and the world you're in. Good job, your behavior has rubbed off on him. Now you both get to be curious together!

Can I request a The Owl House fluffy oneshot with dialogue prompt: “You make my heart happy.” about Hunter (GG)'s shy!female! reader randomly peppering his face with kisses in her room at Eda's owl house? The poor boy just deserves all the love, ya know? 😭💖 I live for flustered Hunter (GG)! 💕 Please?? ~🐈‍⬛

Hey!! Sure thing and yes we absolutely adore flustered hunter! I tried to include details of fem! reader but i couldn’t rlly so i hope that’s ok! also this was so fun to write AUGHHHH thank you for requesting it!

Hunter could only stare in astonishment and wonder what he’d done to deserve this treatment, what god had blessed him from the very first day he caught you crying in between two of emperor Belos’ guards begging them to let you go, that you were innocent.

He’d had a tough day, Belos had warned him he’d replace him yet again. Eda had evaded capture again and Lilith was gone so it (Belos’ disappointment) fell upon him, he’d made previous plans to meet you for a date but he felt so exhausted and wasn’t quite up for going outside.

However he’d missed you immensely and who knew when he’d see you next. So that’s how Hunter ended up here, in your room at the owl house for the first time and cuddling into you side, upon noticing how tired he was you’d invited him home and told him you could always go shopping another day. Surprisingly and grateful no one was home you invited him up to your room.

The tv played in the background neither of you actually listening as you could only focus on the way he felt against you, a warmth spreading through your chest and face. Pressing harder against him you mumbled into his skin,

“you make my heart happy”

Hunter stiffened and stared down at you feeling the heat radiating off your face, before pressing a soft kiss to the top of your head and relaxing, he didn’t, no couldn’t say anything but nod slightly in agreement as his face lit up.

He really didn’t think you understood how much that meant to him, even if it embarrassed him, he felt you giggling into him and glanced down noticing you staring at his bright face.

“My sweet cherry” and so you were leaning in to kiss him, until you heard the door open and Luz’s voice, “Hey! we’re back, we were wondering-“ hopping back from Hunter and falling off the small couch in the room, you both turned to stare wide eyed and heat seeping into your faces as Luz stared back just as surprised.

“heh,,, heh.. I’ll leave you guys to it.” She rushed out before slamming the door, and after a few seconds you could hear her loudly proclaim,

“Guys! You’ll never believe this!!” Before her footsteps are thundering down the steps leaving you and Hunter to stare at each other in complete embarrassment.
