The resident sarcastic asshole of Los Santos; Issac Bellic!

I honestly don't draw men very often, especially not with so much detail, but I wanted to draw Issac on his lonesome at the very least before I draw the rest of the gang.

I'm not great at making hair strokes, so giving men body hair is usually out of the question for me, but Issa is a hairy man and doesn't shave anything but his face most of the time. I had to at the very least give him chest hair.

For anyone who doesn't know; Issac is my GTA Online character and a main character of my Bully / GTA fic. He's Niko's son and he's in a long term relationship with Pinky Gauthier because babygirl needs a better relationship 😤

I would just like to inform everyone that I now have a ko-fi and hopefully I'll be able to start taking writing commissions through it. I was taking commissions off the books for a bit to make extra money, but with a ko-fi it'll be a lot easier. Hopefully when I have a new computer, I can go more into detail about that.

My favorite kind of dynamic!!!

Melanie is 5'8" and Olivia is 5'2".

I made Olivia tiny because Wolverine is supposed to be tiny as well, so I wanted her to take after her dad in more ways than one.

And yes, Olivia is older than Melanie. Liv is 6 years older than Mel. For anyone who doesn't know; Logan and Melanie's mother Kamea Palakiko are married. So no, Olivia and Melanie aren't blood related. But they're sisters nonetheless.

American Mama!!

Peter made a joke about Olivia buying this shirt for Fourth of July and she actually did it because at this point, she's Laura's legal guardian and she loves to tease her like any good big sister would. Plus, Liv is Canadian so it's even funnier to her.

Also yes. She is wearing dior sunglasses that Peter bought her. Because that's what totally normal best friends do. No feelings here whatsoever. None at all!

The lady in the third photo with Olivia and Peter is Liv's bff and partner for missions, Rebecca Hudson. She's an evolved human with the ability to create electrical force fields, she's a bad bitch.

I didn't realize how damn hard it'd be to draw Peter's floppy ass hair. I'm used to drawing hair like that but I am a perfectionist, so I guess I'm just standing in my own way.

But as I said in a previous post, Liv and Peter are in a strange place where they both have feelings for each other but they won't say shit. So everyone else is fully aware that they love each other, but they're the last to know the other likes them. Because my favorite relationship trope is "oh my god, you're both stupid"

I can't draw it properly, but my favorite fact about them is that they always hang out on the fire escape. Their storyline starts way before the first season of Heroes, and so they're both still in college when they first meet. It becomes a cute little routine for Peter to wait for Liv on the fire escape after school + work so they can hang out.

Obviously, they end up hanging out outside of the fire escape. Also everyone else is their biggest shippers, especially Becca and Melanie.

✨️THE GIRL✨️

X-14 aka Olivia Hope Howlett, Logan's biological daughter. And yes, I am aware that Honey Badger exists, but Liv takes place exclusively in the filmverse of X-Men. I gave Liv the hero name of "Badger" because she's more like a badger than a female wolverine like Laura. This is also why she doesn't have claws on her feet.

I have a Marvel / Heroes (NBC) crossover because I am mentally ill and these things work well together, especially with the X-Men storylines. Liv is an X-Man and the art teacher at the institute, which is just Liv's base story with or without Heroes. Olivia becomes involved with the whole storyline of Heroes because she and Melanie (YES, MY OTHER MARVEL BABY MAKES A RETURN!!!!!!!!!) live in the same apartment complex as Peter Petrelli and she (Olivia) becomes romantically involved with him.

Olivia may be a hero in appearance and name, but she's morally gray because she doesn't care about morality. She cares about survival. She protects the innocent and murders the guilty, because she isn't afraid due to the blood already on her hands. Also, much like Laura, Olivia casually steals stuff. Small things, but still. Does she have money? Yes. But Liv says "fuck capitalism", as we all should.

Liv becomes the basically unstoppable force to be reckoned with when it comes to her going up against Sylar, because she can't be scared by him due to being a literal weapon created by a separate Weapon X program. While she may have not been raised in it as Laura had due to being saved at 5 years old by Logan, she still retained what they had taught her and she is still full of metal (no. we will not think too deeply about it.)

She isn't actually unstoppable, of course, but she does make the enemy's life so much harder because unlike the other evolved humans, Olivia is full of metal and rage. Plus, she's Logan's daughter, so we all know that means that she can and WILL murder. Which she does, but only in dire situations.

Anyways... I'll make better pictures later of Olivia. Right now it's midnight and I need to sleep. Because I'm eepy.

More Melanie "Sc3n3 Qw33n" Palakiko?! Absolutely!!!!!

LOOK AT HER HORRENDOUSLY COLORED AND CLASHING OUTFIT!!!! THAT'S PEAK 2000'S Y'ALL!!!!!

(ramble ramble ramble ramble)

So I have finally made the decision that Mel has botanokinesis - aka the ability to manipulate and create nature. She has plants in her room (which she shares with Rogue bc they're besties + soul sisters :)) that she uses to aid her with things and she even likes to mess with people with them.

Obviously Melanie cannot create plants / flora out of nothing. She has to be somewhere that has foliage so she can mould it to her will because I don't want her to be too powerful. She no longer has super sonic speed as there's no need for it, but she does have accelerated regeneration still. She can also use nature to heal her faster if she's in a dire situation as she has a very close connection with nature.

Also a tiny bit more into Melanie's story; Mel is from Honolulu, Hawai'i. She moved to New York with her mom, aunt, and grandparents. Unlike Peter, Mel was actually born with her botanokinesis. Her mother and grandmother both have the same power and they don't see themselves as "mutants", instead it's seen as a gift from the Deities. Her mother calls their power "Makana" - Gift from God.

Due to her powers, she started attending Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters at 13. She maintained a friendship with Peter and MJ because they lived on the same block as her family. Melanie was bitten by an OZ Corp spider at 15 and it ended up giving her the spider-like physiology that she has now, the same kind that Pete has. Unlike Peter, Mel instead was focused on becoming an X-Man.

The institute is how Mel became so close to Bobby, Rogue and John. Mel is in a relationship with John and loves him so much that she legit considers going with him to join the Brotherhood because she hates the idea of not being with him.

When she's super stressed, she starts speaking a mix of Hawaiian and English, and her accent does come out. Also when she's nervous and there's any plants or even soil around, flowers sprout as a result. She calls everyone by their first name instead of their hero name, or she calls them "brah". The only exception is Professor Xavier because she doesn't want to disrespect him.

Literally love this girl so much. I am currently changing up her powers + mutation again, but she'll still be a spider lady. I just can't remove that part of her because it's what makes me love her the most. Sure, she could still be friends with Pete and MJ even if she WASN'T a spidersona because their friendship is literally ingrained in Mel's storyline. But I want her to have something a little more different.

Like I want her to have the ability to grow plants and control nature, like Poison Ivy. It's because she's such a ray of sunshine and I feel like electricity manipulation is just a little to extreme for her and her very sweet personality. Plus she loves plants and nature anyways, so I think it fits her so well. Her being able to literally create life is just so perfect for her.

I won't be changing any of her spider-like physiology due to her being mutated with the OZ formula like Peter and other spider men and women. Also, since her storyline is very much tied to the X-Men (specifically the movies), I have decided she will no longer be a single third wheel. She has FINALLY upgraded from being the lonely bastard to being in a relationship with John Allerdyce / Pyro because I said so and I want him to have a fucking redemption arc because they did my boy SO FUCKING WRONG. How DARE YOU?

+ her bffs at the institute are Rogue and Bobby, so it only makes sense that she'd spend tons of time with John too. And since she's a living ray of sunshine and he's basically the "black cat" trope, they fit together really well. Mel would do him good in helping him get his issues under control. bc she loves him or whatever.

The replacement of Spider-Man

After Peter's death, Melanie takes up the mantle of Spider-Man in his absence. She doesn't give herself any time to mourn his death and instead lives in denial for four years, refusing to say out loud that he's dead even though everyone at the institute and even her teammates in the X-Men try to convince her to take a break so she doesn't burn out. She keeps working herself harder and harder until she finally comes face to face with Miles Morales, who wants to take up the title of Spider-Man. She initially refuses until he finally convinces her that she's only making this all harder on herself, to which she finally decides to take the teen under her wing and teach him everything she knows she he'll be ready for what's to come.

Making this was actually kind of fun. Normally I hate designing superhero costumes because I feel like all of them are so boring and basic... but I realized that a lot of other folks spidersonas also have really intricate and cool looking suits, so I decided to play around a little bit with this. It definitely isn't the final product of her costume, but I know that at the very least the one sleeved jacket and thigh high legwarmers are gonna stay because they FUCK.

I can't imagine Mel would care about functionality unlike most superheroes because she's all about flare and style; making a big impression and looking ridiculous or even amazing while doing it. She's in her own world most times, especially under high pressure situations like after Peter's death, thus why she throws herself so hard into being the new Spider-Man so nobody has to suffer at the hands of evil. Plus, she wants MJ and Aunt May to be able to mourn in peace without disturbances, even at the expense of her own healing process.

Tbh giving Mel tattoos was a no brainer. She's the type of emo to gave small and random tattoos all over her body simply because she can. She does quite a few of her own tattoos because she has accelerated regeneration and it prevents her from getting any sort of infection or illness.

I honestly drew this because I can't sleep. So if anything looks wonky or bad, it's either bc I'm sleepy, or I'm just a lazy artist lmao

A new and improved Melanie Kulani Palakiko!!

For anyone who may not know (which is likely everyone who comes across this post) Melanie is my spidersona. However, I have updated not only her name, appearance, and style, but also her storyline.

Instead of being a normal spidersona, Mel is actually in the X-Men. When she got bitten and was given her abilities (super sonic speed, accelerated regeneration, and electricity manipulation), she wasn't able to control them like Peter could. She instead ended up attending Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters to help her and she ended up joining the X-Men after thorough training. She also goes by just Arachnid now instead of Supersonic, because I just think Arachnid is better. Simple, but better.

Melanie still exists in the Ultimate Spider-Man universe, but I say fuck canon and live your best life. Her story spans over the live action X-Men movies, though she can work for just about any iteration of the X-Men.

She still has her silly little pack on her back that aids her in getting around faster since she can make web shooters like Peter can and she's far too lazy to ask for some. Besides, having 8 foot metallic legs take her everywhere is way more fun. She can wall climb and do parkour, but she prefers the legs because it's easier.

Melanie is two years older than Peter, and she's still from Honolulu. Also yes, she is very bright and colorful because she's a scenemo. I don't care if anyone calls her a Mary Sue for following scene fashion, meaning obnoxious colors because why not?

I'll probably finish the other sketches of her. I'm tired now, so fuck it.

I was nervous about making a phase 1 portrait for Jules, but I actually kinda like it. It's definitely not my best work but meh. At least it gives an idea of what her phase 1 portrait would look like.
