ずっと直島行きたかったんだ、やっとお金ができたんだ。今年のGWに行くと思う。仕事に一日休憩して2日から5日まで泊まれる。

新幹線に乗りたいけど、すごく高いだよ。東京から岡山まで自由席で¥20、000かかっちゃう。ナイトバスの方が安くて、¥5000ぐらいしかかからないけど、椅子が不快に、乗る時間は8時間かかる。

どちの方がいいかな？

新幹線に乗りたい、お金を節約したい😭

リラックマ本はストーリーじゃない。実は詩集(poetry)の方の本です。これは子供向けの本だでも、ストーリーがなくて日本語を勉強してる人にちょっと難しい。

また、日本語の教科書とこの本を比べて面白い。

例えば、これで、「ある日一人暮らしのアパートに帰ったらリラックマが居座る」と書きある。私なら「居座る」代わりに「いる」を使うかもしれない。

I'm realizing a skill I neglected a long time ago is my ability to self-edit. So now that I'm seriously studying again, I'm trying to be meticulous about catching mistakes. Which is hard but I need to recognize when I'm making a mistake to get better.

尊敬する人：イーッサ　レイ

私が尊敬する人はテレビと映画の監督だったイーッサ　レイだ。カリフォルニアのロサンゼルス出身で１５年間に自身のYOUTUBEシリーズを作った。

イーッサレイは2007年にstandford大学を卒業した後、演劇のフェローシップため、ニューヨークへ引っ越した。NEW YORK FILM ACADEMYで勉強しながら色々なバイトをしていた。自伝によると商学部か法科大学院に進学することを考えたそうだが、「AWKWARD BLACK GIRL｝というのシリーズが人気がになるようなったことから、ロスへ引っ越した。

彼女のストーリーは黒人の女性がポジティブな事を言っているものが多い。私も映画とドラマを作ることに興味を持っているから、イーッサレイのインタビューを見ると、彼女のように自分の夢を追いかけたいと思う。

The Researcher Who Won a Nobel Prize, Prof. Yamanaka Shinya

Have you heard of "iPS Cells"? THese cells are able to turn into new cells on various places on the body. THese are called "Dream Cells" because in the near future these cells will be able to help people who have difficult diseases. THese cells come from the research of Prof. Shinya Yamanaka. In 2012, Prof. Yamanaka won the Nobel Peace prize for his research on iPS cells.

Pro. Yamanaka was born in 1962 in Osaka. As a student, he played various sports like rugby and judo, and often got injuries. Because of his injuries, he made a decision to become a doctor who helps people with those types of injuries. However when he was working at the hospital, he realized that there were many people who suffered from injuries of which there was no method of curing them and was shocked. THis was the one reason he quit being a doctor and do research instead.

Pro. YAMANAKA has a bright personality and is a fun person. In his lectures he will make sure you certainly laugh at least once. For example, when he was a doctor, he has a story about a surgery he performed. THe patient was a good friend of his. This was supposed to be an easy 15-minute surgery, but because Prof. Yamanaka is bad at surgery it took more than 1 hour. He apologized by quietly whispering "sorry" which made his friend nervous.

According to Prof. the goal of life is to save many patient's lives by sending iPS cell technology to their bedsides. WHile studying abroad the Prof. learned the important word "VW". In order to achieve results you need V (vision) and W (work hard). He said "Failure doesn't have to be disappointing.Fail 9xs, win once." I believe this is why many people respect him.
