I married my best friend/absolute bombshell this past weekend. The celebration wasn’t what we originally had planned, but instead of postponing our day and attempting to have some semblance of our original vision at a much later date, we rolled with it and created an incredibly intimate and COVID safe affair in the backyard of Allison’s parents home. I can’t begin to describe how perfect everything came together on this day and the week leading up to it. It’s not only a testament to our love for one another, but also a testament to the people who helped bring it together and to the few that we were lucky enough to share it with. The entire day was accented with so much love and gratitude that it allowed us to escape, even if was just for a few hours, what’s going on in this country and world. Now more than ever, it’s important for us to recognize those moments, seize and cherish them. I’m beyond thankful for my partner @coldheartedsnake and the day we were able to create together in spite of the climate around us.
