I went put and studied with my friends today. I also found an amazing way to actually retain info in residency; it’s doing what i did in med school but with a twist (wow shocker). I’m going to be making anki decks. No surprise there.

I was hoping to manage a bit of studying but i appear to be easily distracted. I have an exam on the 15th of December that centers around Nephrology and Cardiology and I’m a tad bit scared. Could be my imposter syndrome. I would never know.

Im going to try to squeeze in a few pages of MKSAP reading.

Still love internal medicine though, and trying to love myself.

Now i am preparing for my internal medicine final next week (june 9th).

It will include; cardiology, nephrology, hemato-oncology, and pulmonary. Plus everything pediatrics related to them.

The only reason as to why i am not panicking is that i am SO IN LOVE with internal medicine that i just don’t mind it. It can beat me up for all i care.

I finished going through the First aid and Boards and beyond videos, which practically saved my ass. I highly recommend watching them (for any topic).

The worst thing in medschool is that we have to learn biostatistics. I HATE IT. I don’t understand how i find Neuro anatomy nice and somewhat easy yet cant even grasp the concept of biostat. Hopefully i manage to understand it. I mean, i finally know the difference between the study types and how to calculate a bunch of things. That must be a good start.
