Have you ever asked yourself....who you are? Since covid hit I'm sure I'm not the only one, but god I have days when I have no idea who I am anymore because I do nothing that represents who i really am anymore. Some days are easier than others, hormones I suppose but deep down its so tough to keep the brave face and the positivity that it will all be ok when there is no end in sight. Endless job applications with no replies, never ending laundry and cleaning the house, constantly doing things you don't really want to do but you do them because you have to and it's the right thing to do. Always accepting the situation and putting on a smile but it's really another chip away at the soul. Fibromyalgia Chat Time. Invisible Pain. And just when you think to yourself, I havent had a flare up in a while, today I woke up and couldn't close my hands at all, arm pain and neck pain. Honestly feels like whip lash.This is the thing with fibro, it has its own schedule and the human just has to go along with it. It could be hormonally triggered this time but I don't really know. Sometimes when I wake up with this pain it can be so disheartening because its been many many years of pain and some days are harder to deal with it than others. Today I shall do as little as possible, instead I will walk and keep warm, listen to as many podcasts and books and just have a day of chilling. For as long as I can remember I always wanted and thought I would be a biological mother. For years I truly longed for it. I longed for the feeling of my baby in my belly. I longed for the bond I would have with my child. I longed for the sound of their call of Mum, mummy! I have longed for that unconditional love feeling. I have longed to see who they turn into and how I could help them develop and become their own little person. Now like A Lot of my life, this isn't what happened. INSTEAD, EVENTUALLY I found my true forever love and his little amigos. I truly believe this is the way it was meant to be for me. For whatever reason, the biological mother path didn't happen but I got my little amigos and I get to be a step mum. Now, being a step mum is completely different and isn't the easiest but we defo have love, respect, laughs and a lot of fun together so that's the most important to me. I am learning everyday from them and I hope I step mum it well enough that I impact their lives for the better. I cant believe it's over a year that David asked me to be his wife. After a fabulous day at Lake Como where apparently he tried to propose but there were too many people so when we got back to our fabulous suite in @principesavoia , i thought we were just going to chill for a while after walking around lake como for hours but all of a sudden David said Marie I need to talk to you and of course I immediately said OMG are you breaking up with me and when he said no, I of course said OMG are you sick, are you dying...so i think at this stage he told me to stop talking.....I was bawling crying thinking he was dying.... and then he said, Marie I would love you to be my wife and through a puffy face and many many many tears I eventually realised David wasn't dying and I said YES!!!! 🤣 Because of covid there has been absolutely no wedding preparation started as we can't travel so I decided the other day I am going to stop stressing about it and we will eventually have the most wonderful magical wedding and I will marry my soul mate and become Mrs Fitzgerald ❤ (at Milan, Italy) https://www.instagram.com/p/CLhVFenncpa/?igshid=1fepxf2jk2skn
