Naruto wasn't one to outwardly show his insecurity. It was a feeling that ate away at him, who would ever want to feel that way? A lot of times, he'd even be in denial about his own self loathing, denying the fact he felt like he wasn't good enough at times. So when he got with you, the girl he imagined marrying in the future, he felt himself worrying. Worrying he'll mess things up with his loudmouth. Worrying he'll mess everything up with his clinginess. Worrying he won't meet up to your standards.

Shunned since childhood, even after he got recognition and admiration he couldn't help but have the lingering thought that maybe he didn't deserve all the villagers praise, maybe they'll go back to hating him one day. It was just a thought yes, and he knew that it wasn't likely but still deep inside that terribleness ate through him like a caterpillar through an apple.

It was common for him to try and show off to ease his own insecurities. Praise from you specifically is what he craved, an addiction some may call it. He needed to hear you tell him that you love him frequently or he genuinely will start to believe you're losing interest in him. The feeling is the worst, it's almost as if his own thoughts were against him.

So now you two are in his home, Naruto being oddly quiet the entire time. You, being the attentive lover you are, took notice and went to check up on your beloved boyfriend who was sitting on his bed. "Naruto? Are you okay?" This snapped Naruto out of whatever trance he was in, though he kept his sorrow filled gaze as he turned to you. "...Why'd you agree to go out with me? I mean... I dunno. Sorry I just... You deserve a whole lot better, ya know? Am I... Am I good enough for you?"

The question slightly shocked you. Sure, most people had insecurities at some point, but you didn't expect Naruto of all people to have those kinds of thoughts. A small sigh escaped your lips as you walked over to where he was sat down, bed sinking as you placed your weight onto it. You lied your body down on the bed, opening your arms for Naruto to come into. For a brief moment, he paused, but he couldn't reject a cuddling invitation. Never. The boy let you take him inside your arms, head resting on your chest.

"I love you, no matter what. I don't care if you think you're 'not good enough'. You're perfect to me, flaws and all. My strong pretty boy." Your hands gave his head small caresses as he wrapped his arms around your waist. A smile crept onto his face, eyes closing as he buried his face into your chest. "Ya really think so?" "I'd never lie about that." "Heh..."

With the way you kissed him on the forehead and how you're holding him, maybe he'll be just fine with you. Maybe there really wasn't anything to worry about after all <3

What if... What if baby Kakashi accidentally acquired a favorite song?

Like... A pop song? The kind that gets stuck in your head and makes you want to dance? Like, maybe he got a little portable radio for his birthday? (very good gift since a radio can be used for keeping up to date with news and maybe even intercept coded enemy messages on a lucky day?) But then, one day he accidentally tunes in to a music station and gets exposed to whatever dance hit is at the top of the charts that day in the land of Fire, and that dance hit is immediately imprinted to the very core of Kakashi's little joy-deprived soul, awakening urges he never even knew ninjas could have, like: Humming? Foot tapping? Twirling?

Kakashi manages to discreetly obtain a recording of the cursed track and it's like a dirty secret now. Nobody can ever know. Ever! but whenever he's got some time alone he plays it. he plays his song. on repeat. and. he has to dance!

There is choreography to go along with the song, because all good pop hits have choreography and Kakashi discreetly obtains the means to copy and memorize the whole routine (the lead singer is really cute too but that's completely irrelevant is what Kakashi tells himself)

It turns out Kakashi is really good at picking up dance choreography because of course he is. He practices the steps to perfection in the safety of his home. Not even his ninken gets to see. They'd think he'd caught some kind of fever and they wouldn't be completely wrong. The obsession is very intense and makes him act completely out of character and it's all kinds of upsetting. Kakashi never intended for things to go so far and he's not sure how to turn back.

Then the nightmares start...

Raising a child on your own was hard, of course you had help along the way but for the most part you were winging it with very little experience. You, the godmother of your now adopted child, was the only person who could take them in as the deceased parents had no other connections or relatives who could. It was a large burden to carry as a teenager back then, but you grew past it and pushed ahead.

There were harsh times where it was difficult to even feed the two of you, but you managed to get past and live a rather comfortable life in your small cabin.

Across the time you were caring for the child, you happened to meet a certain gutsy ninja with a rather childish attitude. He was fun, your child immediately gaining an attachment to him. You'd soon realize that it wasn't just your child who had gotten an attachment to Naruto, but you yourself as well.

Naruto admired you. He couldn't ever imagine being a single parent and knew how difficult it could be, so the boy took it to himself to help you as much as he could. Babysitting, teaching, or just general hangouts, he'd always be there to help out and bring joy to the two of you!

Soon, you three were already like a little family. Inside your child's head Naruto was practically their father, and you noticed how clingy they'd get when Naruto had to leave.

He's the sweetest and you can find yourself wondering what if you three were really a family? Naruto coming home from work to greet the two of you... Family trips... Just a thought. Would Naruto be okay with that? Imagining him as your husband...

Of course, Naruto was more than willing to marry you, but he'd never tell you that! Not yet, at least. It's also a dream of his, being able to hold your hand and raise the little one with you. Your child tells all their friends all about Naruto, isn't it just endearing?

🌱 Whether it's a joke or not he has a dorky smile after as he laughs, the pet name making him feel warm inside. He probably will try and call you a pet name back afterwards, hoping you'll like it just as much as he did.

you two are sitting in your room. You promised him that you would watch a movie together -when atsushi was free of course- and he had kindly agreed. you boot up your pc and hop onto a streaming site as he holds a bag filled up with buttered popcorn. You decide to play a horror movie and make sure to ask if he’s okay with this, he seems a bit worried at first, however he reluctantly agrees.

further into the movie, when there was a “scary part” he would make a EEKKK noise and jump up almost like a cat! It was funny.. really funny actually..! but you had to push that horrible part of yourself away and admit… you felt kinda felt bad.

Now was the time for some.. collective thinking. Maybe you should try comforting him? You’re not really the best at comforting, or at talking to others at all, however in the end you decided to put your arms around him during the movie. He slowly blinked at you at first, but then he would happily smile at you and would cling on to you right back. This time he wasn’t scared, he enjoyed every bit of the movie, especially because it was with you.

HC: he gets confused when people are genuinely kind to him.

It was early Valentine’s Day, many decorations, specifically hearts were being hung around the detective agency, you were sure of who to get a valentines gift for but, you weren’t sure what. You decided to quickly ask around to everyone that was there.

Ranpo said that a box of chocolate would be perfect! His reasoning? Who doesn’t like sweets

Atsushi stated that a kind letter, simply showing how much you care is a great gift!

Yosano told that not only flowers are gorgeous, but they also symbolize love and care.

You’re quite scared on which gift he would like the most, so you decided it wouldn’t hurt to get them all.

VALENTINES DAY

You finally find him, holding the goodies in a safely put together bag, as you walk by he lets out a snarky comment then snickers. You lightly tap him on the shoulders. He seems almost confused at first but then you suddenly hand him the bag. You happily tell him that this is a Valentine’s Day gift for him -and dazais eyes widened- even more when he pulled out a handwritten letter. He puts his finger up to try and say something… however he just goes back to being completely shocked…you tried waving your hand across his face, but his eyes just stayed in the same direction. Even with a minute gone by he’s still standing there … completely still like a statue.

I guess you can kill them with kindness…?

☀️ Luffy:

HC: he still misses ace, and wishes he was there.

You could hear loud cheers from everyone on the ship, bottles popping and loud chewing. It was a nice banquet right after the saving of an island. The boy in red wiped his mouth and quickly walked out of the area, to the edge of the boat. You were quite confused now, this entire setup was FOR HIM! So after a bit of mind boggling, you decide to follow him to the boats edge and sit down right next to him.

His head instantly went up when he saw you were there, turning his entire body towards you, he smiled, said hi. With a crooked smile ( that reflects your love life ) you said hi back. You were nervous to ask of course, however you decided to in the end. “Are you okay?” You would ask, putting a hand on his shoulder. His eyes widened slightly. He didn’t even seem sure himself. When he did reply, he stated that he was sure he was completely over it, however he couldn’t help but wish his brother was with him at every party no matter where he went. You couldn’t help but feel bad for the boy, and in the end you ended up giving him a big hug, he smiled and hugged back

“It’s always alright to miss someone.”

You said, still tightly holding him in your grip. He giggled for a second, then completely started laughing. He let go of you and stood up from the place he was sitting. He thanked you, very much and told that those were the exact words he needed to hear. And so the boy walked off. You looked at his walk and smiled -what a boy- what a boy indeed

🌙 Give his scalp a few scratches, it's comforting to him. His hair is oddly soft despite him seeming like he has a shitty hair routine... Wonder what his hair care routine is?
