Ateez as your bodyguard

A/N: Just some self indulgent writing ;)

Scenario: Y/N is the descendant of an important politician, and thus, must be kept under 24/7 surveillance. Bodyguards have been provided by an agency simply known as 'KQ.' Y/N's personal guard arrives one sunny Monday morning, and their adventure begins.

"Agent. Your mission is to protect the client, Y/N."

"Yes sir. Understood."

~Agent Kim HongJoong~

Y/N wouldn't have known he was a bodyguard, had it not been for the freshly pressed suit, glowing device in his ear, and the gun at his hip. Despite his unintimidating appearance and friendly nature, Joong ends up saving Y/N from mortal peril time and time again- however his nurturing personality extends beyond just protection. He ends up taking care of Y/N, making sure they are comfortable 24/7. He provides comfort during stressful situations and always puts Y/N before himself.

"Y/N- don't worry about me. Are you alright..? Stay calm. I /will/ save you."

~Agent Park Seonghwa~

Agent Park looked like he had just stepped out of a James Bond movie- dressed to impress and intimidating in a way that reminded Y/N of a cat ready to pounce. With a cool attitude and a calming aura, Y/N always found themselves relying on Seonghwa in times of high stress. He was comforting and reliable. Eventually, his domestic side starts to peek as he and Y/N grow closer. He begins doubling as a personal assistant to Y/N's daily life by choice.

"Oh, Y/N, I just finished breakfast. Come down when you're ready."

~Agent Jeong Yunho~

Yunho, like Joong, was anything but scary. He came off as more puppyish than anything. Goofy and laid back, he seemed more like a best friend to Y/N than a bodyguard. However when danger struck, he sprang into action- keeping that carefree smile on his face to assure Y/N they would be ok.

"Hey, Y/N, let's play a game- keep your eyes closed and count to 10."

~Agent Kang Yeosang~

Y/N didn't know Yeosang had it in him to fight. Quiet and docile (embarrased when flustered), Y/N found his presence comforting, but it was clear he didn't have a mean bone in his body. The first time they were attacked however, Y/N got to see Yeosang's training kick into action. Swift and powerful, he took down enemies left and right. Y/N's bodyguard proved himself that night.

"Ok... I think- that's all of them..."

~Agent Choi San~

Y/N and Agent Choi got off on the wrong foot. San was a confident flirt, and a playboy who liked to tease and mess with Y/N. However, Y/N finds that he starts to grow on them. Always smiling and relaxed, San somehow brought humor into everything, even during times of great danger. It was almost absurd, smiling in the face of death, but one look from his gaze told Y/N that everything would be fine.

"All eyes on me, Y/N. Don't pay attention to anything else."

~Agent Song Mingi~

Big was the best way to describe Mingi. He had a big smile, a big personality, and a big 6 foot tall body. Regardless, Mingi was a gentle giant who always had Y/N's best interests in mind. He enjoyed spending his time with them- goofing off when they weren't being watched, and talking about anything and everything. Mingi always wanted to put his best foot forward when it came to anything involving Y/N- so in the face of danger, he knew he had to do his best.

"Don't worry! I got this!"

~Agent Jung WooYoung~

Wooyoung, much like San, was confident in himself and his abilities. Most people would assume he was snobby, but Y/N knew differently. WooYoung worked hard to get where he was, practicing and training everyday. When he begins protecting Y/N, he ends up empowering them as well. Together, they improve each other everyday and grow.

"Come on, let's start the day right!"

~Agent Choi JongHo~

Jongho came off as the strong and silent type, despite being the youngest of his fellow agents. Serious faced and with an even more serious personality, Jongho didn't think his job was a joke- he was protecting another life after all. He even took it a step further and started Y/N on a training regime to help them grow stronger. But over time, he starts to loosen up and relax- he and Y/N become good friends.

"You slept in. It's 8:00, we were supposed to go running at 7."

Ateez Reaction to: You're insecure about your body hair

Scenario: You had always been insecure, to say the least. But recently your focus had been on your bodyhair. It seemed like you had more than a normal person- or at least, it felt that way. And your boyfriend had noticed the way you tried to hide yourself lately.

Hongjoong: "Jagiya, it's hot out. Why are you wearing long sleeves?" He would be concerned that you were unhappy, even though he wouldn't understand why you were hiding from him. When he found out that it was something as simple as body hair, he would just chuckle. "You? You should see what I would look like if I didn't get waxed. Besides. I think its cute."

Seonghwa: He would almost be offended that you thought he would be bothered by something he thought was so trivial, but he understood that you were just insecure and he couldn't be upset over that. "That's just a minor detail. But that doesn't matter to me anyway. That's like... If you didn't like me if I suddenly had freckles. Don't worry about it, please?"

Mingi: Innocent baby would maybe accidentally be offensive without trying to be. "I don't think you're hairy! I think you're fuzzy, like a peach! Its cute!" If that made you uncomfortable, he would be stumbling over himself and apologizing, trying to find something else that would make you feel better...

Yunho: He would first worry that he had made you upset. He would ask if he said anything that made you feel insecure. When you assured him that it wasn't his fault, you were just insecure, he would try to assure you that he didn't mind it. "Really, I promise, I never even noticed until you mentioned it. Even now I promise that it isn't bothersome, it's just a detail about you..."

Yeosang: He would try to understand. He had been insecure about things before that turned out to be minor, so he understood how you felt. But he would try to offer a way for you to fix it, if you deemed that it was a problem. "I personally don't mind your body hair, I don't really pay attention to it. But if you think it would help your self confidence, I can take you with me next time I get my hair removed?"

Jongho: He wouldn't understand why you'd feel upset about it. He looked down at his chest. "I have bodyhair when I don't get Waxed. Are you subtly trying to tell me you don't like mine?" He asked.

When you told him that wasn't the case, you really were just insecure, he would still be confused. "Oh. Um... well why does it make you insecure? I'm sorry, but it seems really minor and I don't understand why it bothers you..."

San: San would feel partially like it was his fault. "I hope it wasn't my fault that you feel this way. But I think it's cute, if that helps. I think it makes you seem cuddly and warm." He smiled, hugging you tight. "Like a kitten! So don't worry about it. If anyone says anything, just remind them that you're dating an idol and they aren't!"

Wooyoung: Wooyoung would be similar to Yeosang. "I mean, I've noticed it since it's part of you. But I always thought it was just natural for you. If you don't like it though, you could come to the spa with me and I can introduce you to my specialist." He was really nonchalant, not wanting you to think it was a big deal.

Ateez Reaction: They fall for their childhood best friend

A/N: Thank you to Admin Flower for requesting the first post! I hope you like it ^-^

He had known you for what felt like his entire life. You had been there when he first learned to ride a bike, to comfort him during his first heartbreak, and visit him at his first job. But now, he was starting to feel something more toward you...

Hongjoong: He wouldn't know what to do. He didn't want to scare you, and he didn't want to waste years of friendship by telling you his feelings because... what if you didn't like him back? Did he even like you? Was he imagining it? Overthinking was about as far as he would get.

San: It came as a sudden realization for San- the same way someone would think, 'Hey, I want to watch a scary movie tonight.' The thought just came into his head. 'Hey, I'm in love with Y/N.' He wasn't really shocked. He would confront you about it almost as soon as he realized his feelings, because San isn't one to hide himself.

"Y/N. Can I take you on a date sometime?"

Wooyoung: Similar to San, he would realize it all at once. But his reaction would be totally different. When he realized he was in love with his best friend, the thought would make his eyes go wide and his cheeks started to burn. He would have acted on it if he hadn't been so surprised and caught off guard. You laughed and smacked his arm, that weird expression he made had caught your attention. "What're you thinking about?"

"Nothing!"

Mingi: Mingi wouldn't really... care? He already had you in his life and that was enough for him. You'd figure it out on your own, because he was a bit bad at hiding his feelings. His eyes would follow you and he would always blush when you said his name. It would turn into a relationship without the awkward dating phase- you'd just fall right into it.

Seonghwa: Seonghwa would wrestle with it in his head for a few days before he made a decision. He wanted to make sure he really liked you before he acted on it. When he realized it was even deeper than he thought, he would be nervous. But he would somehow be calm at the same time. Showing up at your house late one afternoon with a small bouquet of flowers, he would ask, "Can we take this relationship a step farther than best friends?"

Yunho: Yunho would freak. Like. Entirely. He was usually calm but this made him lose his cool. He would start acting weird around you, never wanting to be alone with you and just acting plain awkward. "Yunho! What has gotten into you lately? You're acting like you're either in love with me or terrified of me."

He didn't want to lie to you, so he just remained quiet until you put two and two together.

Yeosang: Awkward. It was awkward. He tried to bring it up to you, but he didn't really know how. "Hey Y/N. What if I had a crush on you?"

"What?"

"Uh- What? I'm going to bed."

And he wouldn't text you for 2 days afterwards, leaving you to wonder what that was all about.

Jongho: Jongho was shy, but he knew that if he wanted anything to come out of it, he would have to do something. You would never be with him if he never asked. He was too shy to do it in person, so he sent you a text.

"Y/N... I hope this won't ruin our friendship. But I think I've fallen for you..."
