hello, hello! not so busy week doing work, but i’d still say i was productive. i went out to a café with my friend, watched a movie, took a lot of walks in the sunshine in spite of the wind.

i also applied to a bunch of jobs! i already have a recorded interview i need to complete before tuesday afternoon. i’m hoping to hear back from more jobs soon :)

we are very close to the end of the semester, just 25 more days until i’m home for the summer! this also means i have some finals and final projects coming up soon, which a few i already have available to me. i already picked out housing for next year, which was a bit stressful, but my roommate and i were able to get the last double in the building we wanted. course registration is coming up the week after next, so i’m meeting with my advisor tomorrow to plan that out.

March 17-18 2024  | Ramadan Challenge 7-8/30

Currently going thru a rough patch w/ illness. Alhamdulillah for everything though. Ramadan continues so we must try to continue our efforts to gain reward despite everything. May Allah give us tawfiq.

My ideal suhoor item is a giant bowl of milk, rice, and mango/banana ✨ and ideal iftar item is all the fried bengali foods galore: beguni, bora, chickpeas + potatoes, muri (aka all the things I can’t eat rn lol)

14.11.2023 // day 1/100 days of productivity - feeling really insecure about my abilities as a medical student and soon-to-be doctor today. One of the consultants on the ward round offered to do some teaching with us, which was really useful, but made me realise that there was so much that I don't know how to do well enough to confidently pass my exams. Just another day at medical school yay!
