TOKYO (early 2021)- A4 gouache painting; 

goal was to do duotone that features a place that we want to visit after the pandemic

This piece was my first experience with using gouache and I fell in love with the medium~ Altho I think I could’ve improved this piece if I did mixed media, like using pencils for finer details? Oh well!

BOB (early 2021 work) [draft on the right, finished on the left] This is a digital mock-up of a risograph print for class last year! :) The concept was to create a poster that warns hikers about a mysterious cryptid and include information about the creature.  Also, I actually kept Bob as a character and often joked that he is Eden and Elysian’s older sibling (because they are artificial beings). My friends love him.

FOR COLLEGE EDITORIAL ART CLASS!

This is a mock-up of a collaborative online protest about academic freedom.

The first two images are the public materials I made and contain the invitation + instructions. Third photo is the supposed “final” work, where all participants are placed in a single image as if they were in a protest.

fun fact: the characters featured are all from my story, Kalachuchi Street! :) (plus me lol)
