The Thoughts in My Head Right Now

I try to not ask for help because I don’t like owing anyone anything. 

I feel as though asking for help gives the other party the upper hand. 

I feel as though interactions with others are all transactional: you don’t get something unless you’re willing to part with some form of payment in return. 

I feel like I’m running out of time.

I’m 37. I feel I should have life figured out by now. I should have all the answers by now. 

I feel like life is passing me by. 

I don’t know what my next move is.

I want to live a day at a time but that may take too long.

I know I have regrets but I can’t seem to figure out what those regrets are.

I know I’m not depressed. I just have too many questions and not enough answers. 

I sometimes feel like a loser; I’m looking for direction in life at 37.

I never had anyone tell me what I was doing was right. Or wrong. 

I think we all need someone to guide us during our formative years. For me it was when I was 16-21. 

I want progress. 

I want to get out of this carefree comfortable rut that I’m in.
