Update
Aiight so yesterday was a shittacular day. I had candy for a meal, I had a donut, I had all sorts of terrible things and I didn't even drink anything basically all day. I SUCKED SO HARD YESTERDAY diet-wise. And to top it all off, I did literally no exercise.

Depressing update is depressing.
I could have totally done some kind of exercise even with my tendinitis (Achilles tendinitis that I don't want to aggravate with too much running or anything like that) such as ab or arm work inside, and yet I didn't. Fair enough, there are plenty of excuses but the fact of the matter remains, I was an ass yesterday.

Anyway. I AM BACK ON TRACK TODAY. I have a lot of work to do right now so most likely I'm not going to be exercising (if anything I might do some crunches before bed) but I'm currently eating a delicious tuna fish sandwich on wheat bread with some hot peppers and only a little mayonaise, and as far as the rest of the day I've had one bowl of ramen for brunch and some coffee. (And some water as well but less than I should have)

It's not perfect and it's not absolutely the best I could be doing, but I'm a college kid what can I say? Ramen is a part of my life.

OK before you berate me to high holy hell I'll only eat like one thing of Ramen a week (or less) to make you happy. Or myself happy..... that works too. ANNNNDDD I have a bunch of bananas and apples in case I get hungry later because that's all I'm going to be having after like 8:30pm or so. 
In the meantime, does anyone have any exercise tips for someone who can't really use their right leg atm?

So for some reason I still have a few of you guys following me even though I have no idea why.
I haven't updated in forever and a day so I understand why some of you unfollowed. IT'S COOL BRO. I UNDERSTAND.

But seriously though. I've been having a rough couple of weeks. I totally lost it on the whole control over my diet part which was my saving grace because I had stopped working out because school got too busy for a bit, and now I just had my spring break and my birthday passed WITH St. Patty's, so I'm totally gonna come clean that I obliterated any and all weight loss progress that I had before.
Kinda.
I went to the doctor yesterday because of a sore throat AND a painful leg because I had been smart on my birthday to walk on five inch heels for four hours straight, and ended up with Achilles tendinitis (swelling of my Achilles tendon) which made it kinda painful to walk. Anywho, the doctor had to weigh me and EVEN WITH ALL OF THE CRAP I HAD BEEN EATING and all of the WORKING OUT THAT I HADN'T BEEN DOING, I managed to only gain back two pounds of the original seven that I had supposedly lost. (Turns out the scale in our school gym was broken this whole time)

In any event, I'm happy that I haven't gained all of my previous weight loss back, and am seriously back on track. My girl over at piketwirler.tumblr.com Sabrina whose weight loss has been FANTASTIC

has been helping me by telling me about her progress and I'm pretty sure that I'm back in this fight. I can't do much exercising until my leg feels better so it's slow going from here on out, but at least my diet is back on track and I'm ready for this.

So, I love me some Dr. Oz and the guy who does the Insanity workout, Shaun T (that name though), has a 15 minute workout you can do.
Two minutes in and my calves were burning, but by the end of it I felt really great. It felt a lot shorter than 15 minutes so that was a great bonus for me.
It works you out really hard, but I'm going to keep at it and see how it goes. It's also seems like a great way to switch up your workout routine if you want to.

Alright so if you guys are following me from my personal blog over at choisiwantsit you guys already know I'm a kpop freak. For everyone who is NOT a kpop fan like me you can apply this to any other tv show or movie because THIS IS THE BEST.
Alright. I am watching Hello Baby with SHINee (because my friend and roommate have never seen it before right?) and kind of exactly like a drinking game, we have made our very own SHINee EXERCISE GAME!

10 sit ups
Every time Taemin puts his hand over his mouth:
1 Yoga Cycle (plank, upward facing dog, downward facing dog, leg up, warrior 1, warrior 2, plank, upward facing dog)
Every time Minho lifts Yoogeun in his arms (Minho always has Yoogeun in his arms so it's like hurr durr, just whenever he LIFTS him on camera):
10 Jumping Jacks
Every time Key does something FABULOUS:
3 Squats
Every time Jonghyun says any form of "Is this the reality you wanted?" :
10 second plank
And FINALLY the best of all, if there is ANY singing or dancing AT ALL (especially Ring Ding Dong) you have to put on one song and dance through the whole thing. We kind of did our own alternating zumba herpaderp moves but IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. It took us forever to actually get through the episode but it was worth it and I feel like I did a full yet fun workout.

OK SO.
I know that I haven't been on this tumblr in FOREVER AND A DAY. I KNOW. ALRIGHT? I KNOW.

Anyway I missed all of you guys specifically on this tumblrrrr and hearing all of those lovely dieting tips and such, and each time I see a post from one of the lovely diet-y tumblrs that I followed I get this pang of like HOLY SHIT I NEED TO DO THINGS ON THIS TUMBLR. And then I forget, or get de-motivated by my lack of amazeballs news or anything, and all that jazz, but here we go with my most recent update.
I have started working out regularly again. I had a little mess-up a little while ago and you haven't heard from me since then. I had a bit of a time getting back on track, especially because... well because I had myself a beautifully fun pity party on single awareness day full of chocolate covered strawberries, Blue Moon, and more chocolate.

So. That was that. I hadn't been exercising regularly until just recently, and yesterday I went running and did like gym-y stuff, as well as the week before I off and on visited the gym when I had time. It really is tough when you procrastinate as much as I do to try and balance "time that I thought I would be getting this stuff done" with "time I actually have to get this stuff done" mixed perfectly in with "snooze button" and "what's another ten minutes on tumblr" time.
Anyway, I'm back on track, and I promised myself for Lent that I'm going to be working out EVERY DAY. That's right folks, EVERY. DAMN. DAY. (I think there's some kind of like ironic blasphemy or something going on there but we're going to move on) In any event, forty days. Forty days of SOME kind of exercise even if it's not exactly going to the gym EACH AND EVERY DAY. I may mess up, I may have to do two a-days if I can't find time, but this is happening.

So today I had my first fuck up in like a LONG TIME
I was slightly pissed at myself because I had weighed myself for the first time in about a week and a half, and even after dieting VERY WELL throughout the week I found out that I hadn't lost even one single pound.
Number one: YEAH, I had just eaten before I weighed myself.
NUMBA TWO: I had stopped exercising because I was so busy at school and plan on working out this week so

Number three: I was pissy about not losing like a SINGLE POUND (guys you don't know HOW HARD I have been taking this diet. I have been eating SO MUCH BETTER than I normally had before I started dieting like a MONTH AGO) so I decided to let myself indulge a bit by having two slices of awesome pizza, about three oatmeal cookies, two other cookies, and some soda. Oh and a brownie.

Who likes sweet things?! Apple Pie in a Bowl, Strawberry Cheesecake in a bowl, Chocolate Raspberry Pudding...in a bowl. Because that's where puddings go OTL.
So do you like desserts? I DO. SFM. It's actually a problem. I don't feel like I've finished my meal unless I have a starch with it, or something sweet at the end. Both of which are not really allowed on my diet. But because of my restrictions I ended up discovering the worlds most delicious replacement!

I call it apple pie in a bowl. It's fucking delicious. And there are lots of variations. 
The Basics: 
Plain Yogurt (non-fat or low fat): 60 calories a serving for non-fat greek yogurt (I use half a serving in this usually, so 30 calories!)
Chopped up Apple: 77 calories for a small one according to caloriecount.com
Cinnamon: 0 calories and tastes like pie. I see no downsides O__O. (if you really don't like cinnamon, honey works as well, but it has sugars in it)
So by my calculations, that's about 107 calories of nonfat delicious ddessert that has the added bonus of keeping you energized because of the protein in yogurt.
Another thing I really like to do, is if I don't want to eat fruit (carbs late in the day aren't good, so this comes in handy for afternoon snacks), I put a teaspoon of sugar free strawberry jam in my plain yogurt. A serving of that is a tablespoon and measures up to be 30 calories, so that's probably about 15-20 extra calories, but like... 50x the flavor. Strawberry cheesecake in a bowl, anyone? this is also good if you happen to not like cinnamon. I also have this weird addiction to sheep yogurt, something about it is just sooo rich and delicious! But I've yet to find a fat free kind T__T. My solution? Mix a few spoonfuls of my delicious sheep yogurt in with my greek yogurt to give it more flavor! I justify it by the fact that the sheep yogurt has 9 grams of protein in a serving versus the greek yogurt's 6.
OH AND YET ANOTHER VARIATION! super high protein, once again, low fat ^__^. Really good for recovery snacks after exercising! Chocolate Whey Powder is SUPER high in protein without being too high in everything else, so put that in your yogurt with some raspberries or strawberries and you've got something almost like chocolate pudding... with berries, uh... chocolate raspberry cake in a bowl? Anyway, super delicious, super filling, super healthy!

Soup Week!
One of the things I like to do that keeps food pretty 'on-hand' and is oh so wonderful in the cold winter months is make a big pot of soup on the weekend and have the leftovers throughout the week.  There are so many healthy (and DELICIOUS) soups out there, and they are also really easy to change up (or make from whatever is lying around).  Making it on the weekend allows for more of the prep time, and it's really easy to store and re-heat.  I made butternut squash apple soup a few weeks ago and it was phenomenal.  A little bit of prep (butternut squash are a pain in the ass to cut) but SO worth it. Substituted unsweetened almond milk for regular milk and used half of the butter suggested and made up for it with olive oil. That was the ONLY fat in this recipe.  So yeah, fun fruits and veggies and legumes and grains with a few spices = yummy food all week. NOMS. (allrecipes.com generally has some good ideas and can help with certain dietary restrictions as well)

So herpy derpy update #2 because... well because I can.
Alrighty so like I said before I told y'all that I dropped two pounds. I haven't weighed myself since then so I'm not sure if I've gained or lost, but I haven't really been exercising since before the weekend and there's a reason for that.
I KNOW I KNOW, I need to woman up and be a bit more hardcore, but I got mah lovely monthly visitor for the week just yesterday and today has been lovely what with cramps and my obsessive need to check to see if there are leakages. ETC. ETC. ETC.
Ladies you get my drift. SO in an effort to not TMI Tuesday it up, I'm just going to say that most likely I shall be back on track with exercise tomorrow most likely.
AND I have really been keeping up with my diet so be proud and stuff.

I also haven't wanted to weigh myself because I'm feeling like totally bloated and all that fun stuff, so I don't want to discourage myself with what probably is packed on water weight.
Let's just be happy that I went healthy food shopping this weekend (took some of your tips and even picked up some gluten free macaroni and cheese that I shall be trying sometime soon) and have not had any major sweets or dairy products for like a week and a half. 
OH and I made myself a sexy salad tonight complete with peppers, carrots, really leafy green lettuce (arugula methinks?) and some raisins for flavor. I also used a bit of italian dressing but not too much. ;D
OH OH, and I did the whole ants on a log thingie this week too.
IT WAS AWESOME.
