the problem with fanfiction is that theres too many coffeeshop aus and not enough aus where the characters are trapped in an alivehouse psychological horror situation or perhaps a labyrinth of sorts

now, by no means is Jughead (in the comics) ugly. But also. I’ve been noticing that recent Archie comic spin-offs or whatever such as Big Ethel Energy, for example, have been giving him more. I don’t know, like chiseled features? And also have been just making him not look like himself. Like I understand the long nose is unrealistic but atleast Jughead (2015) tried to execute it in a somewhat “realistic” way that also stays true to his design bc look at this comparison 😭

I get it’s also a matter of artstyle and all but. That’s just a whole different guy atp.

I wish they made modern Archie again like the Archie (2015) or Jughead (2015) comics again or better yet reboot the jughead (2015) one

I’m going to be so serious Archie horror and the eccentric spin-offs are a guilty pleasure for me but also I have so many bones to pick with it. Number 1) The multiverse shit, awful. Bad. Number 2) the only time multiverse is okay I GUESS is in the time police comics but I didn’t like at all what they did with it in the 2019 version.

idk I like Archie horror but also a lot of the storylines would be easier for me to take serious if they didn’t have pre existing characters with associated vibes and things to them …. I have. Mixed feelings

Archie horror that is in the same mood and tone as the Archies weird mysteries series would probably work since it has that balance between drama and goofiness but idk . I’m easily entertained so maybe I shouldn’t talk on this
