Flaxseed ( Linseed ) - Linux Usitatissimum ( Linaceae ) These seeds are already crushed. Flaxseed has been shown to have very high levels of Polyunsaturated essential Fatty Acids, making it valuable in maintaining a healthy Heart and Circulation, and in preventing Chronic Inflammatory diseases. The seed, rather than the oil, helps to lower Cholesterol levels.
