Grandma’s Mushroom Cakes Recipe
Ingredients:
-Mushrooms (one for each cake)
-Well-aged baby teeth (one for each cake)
-Silence
-Darkness
-Cold
-Vinegar
Instructions:
Plant the teeth in the mushroom. Water them generously with vinegar. Leave them alone in the dark, quiet darkness, until the silence of dead things turns into the silence of growing, awaiting things. Collect the cakes before ripening. Do not let them ripen.
Serve cold.

Grandma’s Marinated Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
-One living chicken
-A good singing voice
-A spoonful of sea salt
-Raw, mammalian meat as needed
-Vinegar
Instructions:
Sing to the chicken each night, after the moon sets. When the chicken’s hunger grows, feed the meat to it. Let it feast. After a week, give it the spoonful of salt, and nothing else from then on. When it will appear to you again, it will be ripe and ready. Add vinegar to your liking, and serve cold.

Grandma’s Birthday Caul Recipe
Ingredients:
-One pig caul
-A spoonful of sugar
-A spoonful of human blood
-Vinegar
-Saltwater
Instructions:
Let the caul soak in vinegar for a day. Add sugar and blood. After another day, move the caul to the saltwater. Let the caul gestate and grow until you can recognize the birthday boy/girl’s face in it. When the special day comes, serve cold, possibly between the first and the second contractions.

Ingredients:
-A thorny plant
-An heir of noble blood
-Moonlight
-Vinegar
Instructions:
Let the heir prick their index finger on the plant thorn (be sure to draw blood). Irrigate the plant with vinegar every moonlit night for three months. Do not approach the plant on new moons. When you start to see a pale child around the plant, harvest. Do not aknowledge the child during the harvest. After ensuring that the moon is not visible from your dining room, serve cold.

Instructions:
