Never Forget
Never Forget the steps taken We trudged and toiled a lot Never Forget the bricks laid down To cover the land where they fought Never Forget the lives wasted Because people didn’t know how to talk Never Forget the price we payed Just to have a thought Never Forget the mistakes we made We destroyed as much as we built Never Forget the paths we walked We’re all walking them still Never Forget the lives we lost They were all paid for at the Cross Never Forget our freedom It was paid for at too high a cost We sometimes choose to forget somethings But they are crucial to who we are We mustn’t choose to forget Even our biggest scars Never Forget to trust in Him He’s carried us before If we all just remember to trust in Him He’ll carry us forevermore

Redeem the Name
Just a few of the misguided can sully the name of a good people, sadly, it takes many more to change the hearts of those who believed the few over the many. It is a shame, however,  the noblest of causes were ones that had to be proven through great effort, patience, and love.

Don’t confuse righteousness with self-righteousness. There is a difference between being morally justified and believing oneself to be superior to all others because of it. Most times a self-righteous person will be a hypocrite because they believe they are perfect and without fault due to their morality.  “Believing oneself to be perfect is often the sign of a delusional mind.” Data/ Star Trek
