Have a happy Wednesday . Here is a thought for today. Every human being has both positive and negative characteristics. Even an emotionally matured person has flaws in their personality. But what sets then apart from others is that they realise their flaws and are willing to change themselves and act upon their negatives. What is your take on this? Do let me know in the comments. #mentalhealth #selfrealization #emotionalmaturity #changeyourmindset #realizeyourflaws #wednesdayvibes #thoughtfortoday https://www.instagram.com/p/CBzQ3gkB9Os/?igshid=1992hj09if094

Opportunities are abundant. When we have a strong determination to accomplish our goal, we can create opportunities. But why is that the first chance we usually get is to be utilised properly? I'll tell you with an example from my own life. I was always interested in writing . In 2016, I heard this term 'blogging' for the first time . I got too excited. I Opened a wordpress account for blogging and started with my first article. I didn't have any commitments as such and I had just joined my job. So I wasn't under a lot of work stress too. But , I wasn't consistent. I was too lethargic, wrote something whenever I felt and whatever I felt. Eventually, I lost my interest too soon and caught up with my life. Recently, I had to quit my full time job for taking care of my baby. I got a second chance . I went through a tough time due to postpartum depression. While introspecting myself to get out of depression, I turned to continue writing, which I always loved , But this time I really wanted to be consistent. So , I took it up as a challenge, amidst taking care of an 5 month old infant, healing after a c-section and other personal issues. Though I'm managing quite well, according to me, I have a fear that whether I can be consistent throughout, as my daughter will be growing up faster and there will be more household responsibilities to take up. Whereas, back in my early days, I wasn't that much caught up with commitment and if I had utilised properly, I would have reached a far better milestone in my goal. Today, as I analyse myself, this was the lesson I learnt . "Grab the first chance you get". Hope my experience benefits you. #mentalhealth #opportunity #consistency #grabopportunities #lifeexperiences #secondchance #lifelessonslearned https://www.instagram.com/p/CBxIFBKh-JR/?igshid=jwvr4j9y0025

Let's begin this week with something new. As humans, we are bound to socialize. Isn't it? Sometimes, to mingle with people, we adapt ourselves a little bit according to their persona. But if we keep on changing ourselves when among people, we end up impressing others always. Let me share my personal experience with regard to the above. I myself , am an introvert. I had issues with socializing from childhood. When I ventured out for my higher education, I faced difficulties in handling people. I didn't know to identify fake personalities from real ones. I believed everyone and ended up impressing whomever I become friends with. Needless to say, I faced many issues. But , the thing is I learnt an important lesson at the end. Earlier, I focused on impressing others. I gained nothing . After realising that other's opinion doesn't matter always, I worked on myself. I started talking to myself. Self talk is the best therapy. I began taking care of myself and my opinions . I observed that Whenever I listened to myself, I was taking much better decisions. With better decisions , my life took a better turn from thereon. Hope my experience benefits you. Keep impressing yourself. Be a better person than yesterday. Have a great week ahead. If you think you have been impressing people, check out the article on my blog, to know more about that. Link in bio. Let me know your take on the above issue in the comments. #mentalhealth #selfawareness #selfimpression #mondaymotivation #motivation #peoplepleasing #impression https://www.instagram.com/p/CBuxja9higA/?igshid=1d1vx0tv5gxhk

Growth is essential for every human being. From birth till death we all are continuously going through growth. Physical growth is taken care by the food we intake. Incase of mental growth, the process has to begin from within. Growing from a mental perspective defines our identity and tells the world who we are. Today I wanna share something important. I've seen people bashing those who put up posts related to their negative feelings , both online and in person. They think that social media is only for happy and inspirational posts. But they fail to acknowledge feelings shared by others, may have been experienced by them at some point. This is also a form of discrimination. Ignoring and shaming people who experience depression leads to suicide. We all become awakened suddenly one day when someone popular dies. Often we fail to recognise that people who are dear to us may also go through the same and it's important to help them out. Commenting "Why did you take that decision?" in the old posts of people after their death doesn't help. If they can hear us , they might have replied "It's all because I'm not that perfect, happy person as you people portray me". If we have accepted people the way they are, they might have not taken that decision. If you're seeing any posts of people reflecting their negative mental health, Reach out to people either online or in person. Help them out and grow. You may not get fame or popularity out of that , but your heart will be brimming with a feeling of satisfaction. Atlast, even if you haven't experienced anything negative in your life , sympathize with others. It doesn't take anything out of you, instead it makes you a good human.Be compassionate. #depressionawareness #mentalhealth #feelings #stopjudging #awareness https://www.instagram.com/p/CBmhB4tBjbh1yw_p5PwdZmVqsQAUKtsEKe0ibY0/?igshid=1pf0j0mzuamjs
