--- Despite her usual ability to focus on several things at once, Charlie could only find herself staring at her brother, pale and bloodied on their medical bed. He was targeted by the enemy and no one had been around to help him fight. She was mad at herself. She felt like it's her job to take care of him, especially now that they were Rangers. Their parents would be disappointed in her. How can she be expected to help the rangers, to be a ranger herself, when she can't even keep her family safe. She sat right next to the med bed, hands folded together in front of her face as though she were praying. Charlie didn't believe in God, but she'd give anything to have Venus and Sandy work their magic in her favor. Their lives were proof that they don't know everything, and the world may surprise them with gods and miracles after all. Being a Power Ranger meant anything could happen. Right now, she just wanted Tim to wake up again. Frank came in to take over watching him. He said she needed to rest. Without looking at her leader, she promised her brother, "I'll find them, T, and when I come back, we can play some baseball." Getting up and avoiding Frank's gaze, Charlie slipped out of the base. Frank knew that she knew he was there for her if she needed him. She was grateful for the space to process during this time. The only thing that would help her feel better, and potentially the only thing that could save her brother, was to defeat the bastards that hurt him. This beast is going to regret crossing the Gold and Silver Mythic Beast Rangers. Charlie was going to end them. And save her brother's life.
