Luke is a celebrity (because of course he is you guys just haven't thought it completely through yet), he has a Tiktok that he posts on every so often for dumb things like PSAs, New Republic politics things, gay discourse, saying fuck you to homophobia, Jedi trick shot videos, reacting to fans, doing viral dance challenges, and more importantly; thirst traps.

Din - I don't want to be the main character or noticed by the public in any way - Djarin gets accidentally featured onto one of Luke's tiktoks while staying on Yavin IV and the internet practically explodes considering Luke is essentially royalty and a celebrity all rolled into one and whO IS THAT HUNKY MANDALORIAN DUDE WITH A GREEN CHILD LOOKING AT HIM IN THAT INTIMATE AND SOFT WAY-

In short Din becomes accidentally famous and the net' scrambles to find out who he is, coming up on empty because he is for all intents and purposes a ghost. Shenanigans ensue.

Summary: Anakin and Padme were sick of fighting wars. In the middle of the Clone Wars- the Mandalorians decided to wage a millennia old grudge inspired war against the Jedi and they were called to battle there- leaving the war front of the clone wars exposed.

Padme, with her two twin children in tow, is doing her best- what with Obi Wan ravaged by worry about Satine that everyone pretends isn't happening, Ahsoka slowly developing anxiety in by the constant wars and stress.

When Luke grew up with his sister during this war, it wasn't pretty. He had to live with the fact people like the Mandalorians wanted to kill him purely because he was a fully fledged Jedi padawan. That he was considered unnatural to them.

So what happens when Luke gets saved by a Mandalorian on the battlefield? Who is none other than Din Djarin- heir to the throne of the Manda'lor ?

Summary: Luke glanced around the room and when no adult approached them, he turned back to the little boy and asked, “Do you know where your parents are?”

The kid blinked at him, but he merely shrugged and turned back toward the glass. Luke hummed and considered what to do next. He figured it was best to keep the child calm until his parents came looking for him. Then again, this kid seemed perfectly calm and content to just stare at the alligators all day.

“Are alligators your favorite animal?” he asked.

- AKA Modern AU where Luke’s a zookeeper, Din is a single dad, and Grogu really likes reptiles.

Summary: Some may think it odd that a flower shop could be run by a Jedi - Luke disagrees.

“Luke,” Luke blurts, all semblance of calm he had been working to maintain gone. He fumbles to tuck some of his hair behind his ear as a distraction before he tries again. “My name is Luke.”

Luke doesn’t tell him he’s the only one that runs the shop with his droid. There’s no need to ask for him,  ever,  but Luke wants him to.

The Mandalorian nods again. “Thank you.” Then, almost a forced afterthought: “Luke.” After, he’s gone, the bell tinkling over the door and sunlight shining off the polished armor as he steps out.

Luke leans over the counter, stretching to catch a glimpse of the man again before the crowds of Galactic City swallow him from sight.

He doesn’t know, at first, that they are there at all, until his baji’buir looks at him, her golden buy’ce tilted, and says, quietly, “I believe you have your words, ad.” She hands him a piece of shining beskar to use as a mirror, and sure enough, curled under his left ear in a slanting script, there they are. Two words: I am.
