What does growth mean? Is it all about personal growth? For me it is never about personal growth. If it would be so, none of the histories would have been created. Every personal growth is a short term growth, however fantasizing it may seem. In the long run, nothing but the vision works. In order to reach the goal, you need to think that way. A team doesn't work for the boss, not any more. They work for a vision and that's what motivates them to grow. Need or Greed? What impacts you? Have you come across this question earlier? I have come up with it many times and every time I come up with it I get disillusioned. Not because I prefer the first over the second but because I get confused if it's a need or a greed. However, upon thinking over it and understanding the difference I could segregate between the two. What seems to be a greed to one may be the need to the other and this continuous as you keep growing day by day. But the main purpose should be to give it a direction. Have you ever felt low on seeing your team craving for something they don't have? I experience this most of the time. The day you start thinking for your team, believe me all your requirements will be subdued. The only thing that will motivate you is the smile on your team members' face. The Pareto principle states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. Management consultant Joseph M. When I say a system, I mean a defined process in place that automates everything and eventually asks for a maintained productivity from everyone. When we just work for a vision we can get astray.
