Hi Everybody!!

Omg it feels like we just wrapped up last year’s event and already it’s time for another DamereyCreations Week! 

It will take place October 23rd-29th and we hope you all can participate either by writing, drawing, creating, or simply showing support and having a fun time with the Damerey family!

Every day of the week will have three prompts.

The Challenge Prompts this year are various movie quotes you can incorporate into your work, whether it’s the main inspiration for the fic or something one of the characters says in the fic is up to you! There’s no limit to how you use them.

There will be one a day, and you are more than welcome to use them however you like. You are not required to do the Challenge Prompts to participate in DamereyCreations Week, I just thought it would be a fun way to change it up a bit.

Part of the reason that Han, Luke and Leia work so well as the main trio is that they're all mistakenly under the impression that they're the sane one in a 'two idiots and the voice of reason' trio trope. Like "Somebody has to save our skins!" and someone has to stop Han and Leia from murdering eachother mid lovers spat, and someone has to keep the twins out of trouble involving force nonsense. And they're all equally as much trouble as eachother, but they all think they're the only sane person. And it's wonderful.

Grey Suit Damerey AU: Day Two

Anything you can wear, I can wear better!

I can wear anything better than you!

No you can’t. / Yes I can.

Poe and Rey Dameron have a knack for fashion. And one knows if you have been with someone long enough, one starts to dress similar to one’s beloved. But one’s beloved wanted to wear a grey suit for this morning’s news broadcast promoting their new book. An argument begins— a volley of incoherent words on why they should wear their grey suit bounce throughout the house.

“Rey, it’s my lucky suit, I need to wear it—go change.”

“Poe, darling, in my experience there is no such thing as luck. You just like how the pants make your… erm… pocket change bulge.”

“Pocket change?? Sunshine… you know wool fabric is not as forgiving, especially with these hips.”

“ Well do you know what is very forgiving and flexible with those hips?” Rey smirks.

Poe noting the change in tone. “Do we have time— we haven’t settled the suit debate and we need to be at the studio in an hour.”

“Absolutely”

…

Poe and Rey arrive at the studio, both in their grey suits. Poe sans his necktie, used for a prior engagement not too long ago and extremely too wrinkled to be worn. After weaving through the hair, makeup and waiting areas, both are seated on stage for “Tico and Trooper in the Morning”.

“We are live in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…..”

Damerey Camping AU: Day One

Poe, Rey and BB-8 travel to the northern regions of Ajan Kloss for a holiday away from their duties in rebuilding the republic. What they did not know is that it would be filled with competition of who is more outdoorsy—Rey; who is horrible at jokes—Poe… “Do you know what else is intense?—camping!
