TRANSFORMATION (noun) trans·for·ma·tion \ˌtran(t)s-fər-ˈmā-shən

Merriam-Webster provided me three definitions that I felt encompassed several aspects:

a. to change in composition or structure

b. to change the outward form or appearance of

c. to change in character or condition

Each summer it’s the same. “Hey I have a little more time to myself! Let’s improve!” However, it never holds through longer than a week. Why is it so hard to make a promise to YOURSELF? Why is it so hard to be good to yourself? As I struggle with this, I wonder, is this the problem that is holding me back from enjoying my life? Am I my only obstacle? And the answer is yes. For myself, of course. In my circumstances, my downfalls, my constant tribulations, I attribute to myself. But the scene is a little different now. Being a fresh grad, the next few months will be a whirlwind of experiences and I intend to make myself a better person -- physically, spiritually, and mentally.

No more syllabi, professors, or class schedules, I am my own tracker. I am at the peak of my ‘reckless youth’ and want to live this stage of my life wholeheartedly. I’m ready for this.

I want this chance.
