racism/classism aside this does add to what the show's previously hinted at - that the majority of imps are from wrath. makes me even more intrigued about blitz's backstory
also it just occurred to me - I mean, I think the joke is primarily "the hospital's in Sloth so of course it takes 5 years to get an appointment, also irl medical systems suck" but I wonder if part of the reason Blitzo had to wait 5 years for an appointment is because of his class/status.
I get the general vibe that the mom in the waiting room didn't make her appointment 5 years ago.
A detail I haven’t really seen brought up/mentioned from the new episode:
When Stolas opens the message app it doesn’t start where the new message is like it usually does (at least in our world). He has to scroll a bit before we see the new message. That’s obvious, but why is it like that? What reason is there for the messages to open there aside from extra context for the audience? My theory:
Stolas was rereading old messages between him and Blitzø.
i'm sorry but stolas bound and powerless and tortured to tears still pushing himself off the ground snarling threats at the man who would dare even mention his daughter. the breathless all-consuming fury that striker would dare to speak a word about her. stolas knows striker is going to kill him and could make it painful beyond imagination and the only thing he cares about in this moment is octavia's safety why the fuck aren't we talking about this scene more
I'm laying in bed with the rain outside and my wife in my arms and it just keeps hitting me that after so long, after all this time of waiting and awful relationships, I finally have my One. My soulmate, the one who completes me. I finally found her.
