He’s just so great, he has his strengths and weaknesses and he can be kind without being a complete push-over. He does stand his ground when it’s important... Idk, i really liked him, i’d like to have seen how he’d end up developing...

Why is Marco Bodt so wonderful? Why do we love him so? *~*

non serious answer: bc he is a cinnamon roll, complete with little cinnamon flecks on his cheeks

serious answer: Marco Bodt happens to be a character who managed to (with those who love him) win an absolute lottery of positive traits. He’s good natured, fairly slow to get angry or aggressive and nurturing, which for people who have experienced some form of abuse can be very soothing. He’s shown, not simply said to be by the narration as happens sometimes, to be good with his peers and is also especially well known for being very close to Jean, thus people who have been socially outcast might also be drawn to him (if someone like that can be friends with someone like Jean, surely he’d be friends with them too). He’s also at times very perceptive, and he understands Jean better than Jean understands himself, which again would draw in people who might be neurodivergent/have low self esteem. His speech to Jean was encouraging in a very specific way; he acknowledged that Jean was ‘not strong’ which validates Jeans own feelings, but he also explained how even that could be a strength and went on to compliment him.

On the flip side, though, Marco has his weaknesses; he, too, is afraid to die (see the scene where he stops Daz from killing himself and how he nearly faints after shooting the Titans in the warehouse). Furthermore, he’s also rather cowardly when it comes to asserting himself (Jean is able to push him around, slapping him as he drinks in an early episode) and is also on occasion rather morally cowardly (in the third OVA, he was more concerned about casting his argumentative squad/himself in a bad light rather than be truthful in the reports, and initially wanted to go into the MP rather than SC)

Furthermore, his death was written in a way that was directly and dramatically impactful to the plot - it is specifically Marco’s reassurance and then his death that pushes Jean (and possibly Connie and Sasha, as Connie was at least shown in the anime to reflect on Jean’s decision before making his own) to join Eren in SC.

Who Is Isi Dawndancer the daughter of?

She’s a MH character and is some sort of deer creature, but I don’t know the exact monster she is supposed to be the child of. She’s not an EAH character like we originally thought she might be when we first saw the trademark.

Meeshell L’mer

So, about Meeshell L’mer... I know everyone is excited about the, possible, daughter/son of The Little Mermaid, and with all the new characters appearing hopefully soon we’ll hear about her/him, but in this post I’d like to talk about a theory about her/him.

Most people assume that it’ll be a her, given the name’s similarity with Michelle, but when i first heard it, and given the french last name, I first though about the male french name Michel. I’d like to believe that if it were to be a girl it would be Meeshelle, but i know it’ll most likely be a girl, knowing the show... But I can still dream about a french or, who knows, polynesian son of the little mermaid...

About the hair, well, honestly I don’t mind if he/she’s suposed to be a redhead like in Disney, mermaids tend to be very much represented with that hair... And, if my dream came true, there’s certainly a lack of redhead/ginger boys...

But who knows, I guess we’ll wait and see...

Note: Not quite sure why french, since the story is from Denmark and mermaids, or originally sirens, greek, but maybe it has something to do with the french vibe of Disney’s Little Mermaid...

Am I the only one that thinks that the girl in the background of the screenshot of the new gameis Farrah Goodfairy? I mean, it’s a new backgrounder that will appear in the episodes to come AND she coincidentally has wings, like they say Farrah does in Faybelle’s diary? Too big of a coincidence in my opinion...
