boy: We should go out for coffee.

Me: Coffee? *hesitant look*

Boy: How about we go out for coffee tomorrow? JUST COFFEE. Nothing else, it can't be that bad, no one will be burned, no WW3, everything will go fine.

Me: Do you really go and get coffee with girls? Do people in real life go out just for coffee?

Boy: I don't know, I have never done this before, you are the subject matter expert on this, something easy that is easily escapable in case, worse for worse the nuclear holocaust happens

A Boy Opened the Door for Me

So I cut through this building on my way to my car, I saw this guy and he looked directly at me and then went over to the door and held it open.  Not the I'm-going-in-1st-so-I'll-hold-it-open-behind-myself, but the step-aside-for-someone-to-go-through-1st.  I was startled but I half smiled and whispered thanks.  He said "You're welcome" and then the door closed.  When I turned around I realized he wasn't behind me.  HE HELD THE DOOR OPEN FOR ME EVEN THOUGH HE WASN'T GOING THE SAME DIRECTION.  OMFG I'M PRETTY SURE HE'S MY SOUL MATE, I MUST FIND HIM.

So when you’re 21 years old and you tell a guy you like him…

Me: I think I like you

Him: I think the person I’m going to end up with is a redhead

Me: *looks at brown hair and screams in frustration*

Then the realization that I am attracted to someone who still thinks that their soul mate is going to have certain physical characteristics that they have misconstrued as being “more attractive” because they have the emotional maturity of an 11 year old hits me.

Anyone else spend way to much time paranoid other people are looking?  I love singing along to the radio but when I get to a stop light, and there is another car beside me, I immediately stop.  I'm so paranoid someone's going to catch me belting it out that I'm always watching the other cars.
