The Journey Begins!
Today's the day - May 23, 1903!
Crocker and Jackson drove off from San Francisco on their road trip across America.
Dr. Jackson had made a $50 bet that he would be the first.
Crocker was the mechanic who kept the automobile moving.
It started as a bet, became a race, and changed the world!

Love Jennifer's little dragons!
Such a fan.
Masterharper Robinton and his Bronze firelizard Zair. For you dragon fans out there if you're really into modern dragon riders books, check out Pern. It's the place most your fave lore bits started!
Robinton here is my favorite character! Not only is he an incredible musician and composer, he's also a really stand up human being. Great teacher, good friend, my husband ... Oops did I say that aloud lol.
Dragonriders of Pern won my fanart poll for this month! Check my page for future polls and have a say in what I draw next!

It’s Rex Manning Day! Damn the Man! Save the Empire!
April 8 is Rex Manning Day!
“Attention Rex Manning fans, to your left you will notice a shoplifter being chased by night manager, Lucas. This young man will be caught, deep fried in a vat of hot oil and served to our first hundred customers. Just another tasty treat from the gang at Empire Records.” - Gina
“I don’t feel I need to explain my art to you, Warren.“ - A.J.
“Let me explain it to you. Mitchell’s the man. I’m the idiot. You’re the screw-up. And we’re all losers. Welcome to Music Town.” - Joe
“We mustn’t dwell. No, not today. We can’t. Not on Rex Manning day!” -Mark

While shopping during the holidays, I went in one of my favorite indie bookstores and had a moment - I found one of my titles on the discount shelf.
It was awesome! I was so honored. The book came out several years ago.
They had two, so I bought one.
Felt like an author milestone.
