Mine is a toss up between Wicked Abyss by Kresley Cole and The Girl with the Make-Believe Husband by Julia Quinn. I have been equally obsessed with both of these authors for years now, so I can't pick a favorite. They were both super amazing.

June & July ‘17 Book Haul

With my giant book haul in May, June and July has seen very little in the way of book purchases. Instead of buying new books, or even reading one of the books from my massive haul, I have been reading books from Kindle Unlimited. This has been a rocky experience for me in the past. I can be super picky on the books I read. I have been on a romance kick, and a lot of what I was coming across was erotic novels. My problem with most of these erotic novels? They lack the romance. Sure there is a lot of steamy sex scenes, but there doesn’t seem to be a connection between the characters. No journey to falling in love, which is what I really enjoy. Also, a big turn off for me in romance / erotic novels is first person, and like 99% of these Unlimited erotic novels are first person. I prefer most books, regardless of genre, to be in third person. Now that isn’t to say that I haven’t enjoyed books in first, some of my all time favorite stories have been in first person. It just takes me a bit longer to get into the story. So I am going to share the books that I currently have in my Unlimited Library. These are books that seemed interesting to me for various different reasons. Now I can’t promise you that I will actually read all of these stories, I just know I want to try these stories and see how they do. There has been some authors whose books are on Unlimited that were amazing and left me wanting more. So we’ll see how these do… The titles in bold are the novels I have finished, so if you want me to talk about one just let me know! The titles that have a * beside it are novels I started but do not plan to finish for probably petty reasons on my behalf. If you want to know why I didn’t finish a novel, just let me know!
