finished episode six of crown of candy holy shit. im so upset. i honestly believe if theobald had made that dex saving throw and not fallen through the window he would have fully gone back for lapin and i think that's what stings the most; that there was another way things could have gone. it would've been so epic too bc he'd be disobeying his king and it would be like WOAH CHARACTER ARC but im on episode seven now absolutely vibing

watched mcc with my friends irl and it was a lot of fun but ALSO meant that i could commentate and analyse TO THEM DIRECTLY, and i came up with this point last night that i was very happy with.

wilbur said in cpk's stream the other day how he wanted to one day be an mcc player who brought out the absolute best performance in his s-tier players, but i genuinely believe he already is that player.

alternatively, i believe tommy is an mcc player who can bring out the absolute best performance in his lower tier players (as seen with players like niki and joey in previous mcc's).

now, as for now, in mcc season 2, i'd safely categorise tommy as not quite an s-tier player, but still an exceptional one (maybe a+?), with wilbur, while still being a remarkable player, is of lower tier himself.

that means they bring out the best in each other.
