I love beautiful, magical boys who have a crush on the main character. Extroverts to a fault but has quiet and soft moments. Purple is a major color in their scheme. Adorable black marks underneath their eyes as they also make literal heart eyes to their supposed love interest. Both tend to talk in a unique speaking pattern.
Babies Stolas and Gen, how my world is brighter having you two in it
I think it's very fitting that my favorite extroverts who both put on a mask of not caring about anyone but themselves but really have a giant heart, are emotionally intelligent, have a two-toned theme, and are extremely flirtatious towards grumpy, short kings share the same birthday (April 1).
If I had a nickel for everytime I fixated on adorable twinks with these traits, it would be two times, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Say goodbye while I look you in the eye and say "Fuck you!"
Both my beloved extroverts were treated poorly by an employer (Mammon and Kray). And both had enough of the abuse and chose to prioritize their loved ones instead.
Hell is full of immoral and depraved demons and sinners alike, but Fizz has always been very gentle and kind, despite his hostility toward Blitzo and his kinky yet incredibly loving relationship with Ozzie.
This scene solidified Fizz for me as a great character and person. Keep up the good work, I adore this imp.
I'm in awe myself over this. Haven't watched One Piece in years because it got to be too much as I got older and I lost interest, but I saw the trailers for the live action series and thought this could actually be fun.
And you know what.... it's a lot of fun and I enjoy the story. It's easy to follow after all these years and I love the actors who are portraying their characters to be the best of their ability. Adaptations can be good if we allow them to be, such as The Sandman, Good Omens, and Shadow and Bone, all three were very good in their own right and kept the spirit of the story.
Keep up the good work. It's because of shows like these (and this adaptation in particular) that we may get more adaptations in the future that do the stories justice. And I for one can't wait for that to happen!
i cant believe its one piece of all anime that gets to break the live action adaptation curse. this is so funny. the most unadaptationable anime is the one that. fucking . makes it. my face hurts from laughing and smiling too much. everyone did their damn thing. whatever criticism we lob at this thing doesn't fucking matter anymore. people dont get it. but i do. the goal of a live action adaptation, first and foremost, is to make me, specifically, fall in love with the story and characters all over again. and i did.
I just watched this movie.... and I.... love it. The messages hit home and I'm on board for whatever else Nimona has to offer
this line fucking hit.
but it's true.
queer people for years, centuries, have been oppressed for being their most authentic selves, by the people who call themselves heroes and us the monsters, even nowadays with the most recent law for allowing discrimination against queer people in America. They call themselves the good guys, the saviours, the ones completely in the right and justified for hating against people just trying to live their lives. And apparently we're supposed to be the bad guys in this story.
i'm so glad that this movie came out when it did, the world really needs it.
