1) im alive - just super busy!!

Another crossover! For the record, I don’t think Slytherins are bad. I just find it funny that everyone assumes that they are. Anyway, here’s my personal sorting of the Sector V members. Do you agree?

Nigel = Slytherin because of his smarts and his ambition

Hoagie = Ravenclaw because he’s obsessed with science, engineering, and nerd stuff

Abby = Gryffindor because she deeply cares for her friends and is protective of them

Kuki = Hufflepuff because of her kindness

I'm so happy that people are reading Bookends but I'm also sad because I'm still in the process of rewriting it (no changes to the story, just enhancing chapters) and I would prefer people to see the new version 😭

Oh well. I'll just have to keep working on it so that I can publish sooner than later. Anyway, I added small bits to each chapter, but here are some bigger edits I'm excited about!

- Chapter 4: Improved the dialogue overall. Added some more background and connection between Wally and Kuki, specifically a reference to Op. Sprout.

- Chapter 5: Improved the dialogue overall. The walking scene is a little more tense but tender at the same time. I love how it came out!

- Chapter 6 (in progress): Improved dialogue overall and added bits about heartache. I'm also starting to make Abby and Hoagie blatantly flirtatious with each other, and I'm not sorry!

Hey, all!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been really busy! Anyway, here's a quick and fun lil headcanon. Hopefully my schedule will clear up eventually and I'll be able to post more frequently!

During Wally and Kuki's early 20's, Mrs. Beetles discovered that he had gotten a tattoo while he was at the military. She initially lost her head over it, not because she hated tattoos (she doesn't actually care) but because she assumed that he did it out of impulse. (I mean, who can blame her? She knows her kid.)

Ironically, Mrs. Sanban - the very conservative corporate lady who everyone assumed would disapprove - didn't mind it and even shared an article with Mrs. Beetles about the changing notions towards tattoos in the corporate world.

Anyway, Wally becomes one of those hot doctors with tattoos anyway, so who cares.

And yes, Kuki loves the tattoo.

And no, I don't actually know what tattoo he got or where he got it. I just know it was enough to freak his mother out at first.

Earth, Water, Air, and Fire which of the four elements describes Wally and Kuki? In a nutshell?

I'm totally going to answer this in the context of ATLA. 😎

Okay, this is a tough one for me because I basically feel like the answers can be flexible as long as they're in opposite elements.

While I think Wally has potential to be fire because of his temper, he lacks the discipline and ambition that I associate with that element. As such, I think he's earth. He's tough, he's resolute (some might call him stubborn lol), and he's loyal.

Kuki has potential to be water because of her nurturing nature, but because of her playful personality, and because I want her to be Wally's opposite, I definitely see her as air. She's lighthearted, she's cheery, and she's easygoing.

As far as their dynamic, I think you can look at them in several ways. You can look at them as earth and air, where he's rigid and stubborn while she's adaptive and easygoing. Or you can see them as fire and water, where he's firey and temperamental, whereas she's calm and nurturing. Like I said, either works as long as they're opposite!

I'd love to hear what you guys think!

And in case anyone's curious... Yes, I'm definitely planning in drawing Sector V in ATLA cosplay someday. 😊
