Watching the scene in heartstopper where Nick comes out as bi to his mum makes me sad to think about the time I told my mum (who had always been supportive of the lgbtq+ community and was the biggest supporter to my cousin coming out as gay) that I think I might be bi and she replied with “maybe that’s just because you’ve never had d*ck before and don’t know how great it is”

That was 4 years ago and I know now I’m definitely bi

Talking about eating disorder struggles with people who don’t get it just makes me feel more isolated.

But talking to my friends who do get it isn’t an option because I know how triggering it is to discuss these things
