PLL Imagine - Part 1
“Spencer.” You narrowed your eyes at her.
You had been sitting in her bedroom for the past hour listening to her, Toby, Emily, Hanna and Caleb talk about who the next prospective ‘A’ was.
“Whoever this bitch is, isn’t alone. There’s probably an entire alphabet helping ‘A’.” You groaned as you shifted in your seat.
“Well, we know it can’t be Mona.” Hanna declared from her spot next to Caleb.
“Yeah, she’s all cozied up in Radley.” Emily rolled her eyes.
You scoffed again. “I’m sure there’s no escaping that place. It’s top notch.” A biting sarcasm laced your words.
The group turned to you with questioning expressions.
“Y/N, is there something bothering you?” Emily asked with arms crossed.
They waited for a reply.
“Nothing.” You answered quickly.
“Are you sure this doesn’t have anything to do with Jason?” Hanna accused.
“We can’t trust Jason right now, Y/N knows that.” Spencer answered for you.
“No I don’t know that.” You stood from your spot.
“Y/N, I know you two have been best of friends since before Alison went missing but right now we can’t trust anyone, especially that family.” Spencer stepped closer, almost trying to convince you to sit back down.
“I’ve got to go.” You pushed your way past the others and exited the Hasting’s house.
It was true. Jason and yourself had always been extremely close. You were a year older than the girls and were friends with Jason first. You had even been there during his booze binge stage. You never liked Alison because of the way she treated her brother. Sure, he wasn’t warm and fuzzy and he could be a total dick but whenever he was going through something, Ali made it her mission to kick him while he was down.
Jason was back and forth from Rosewood to wherever it was he went these days. Currently, he was back. In search of Ali’s missing body.
You found it convenient that as soon as you realized your feelings for Jason were growing in a more romantic direction, ‘A’ began to send you threats. It almost felt like it was his little sister playing one of her famous games.
Spencer was going easy on Jason for a while, once she found out he was her half-brother but lately she’s been a little weary of him. Maybe she was misplacing the blame that should be on her own father. You were glad you left that house before you said something you regretted.
You lived a few streets over from the Hasting’s and you were halfway home when you felt your phone buzzing in your pocket.
“Hello.” You said curtly.
“Someone’s in a bad mood.” It was Jason’s voice on the other end.
You faintly relaxed. “Yea, I guess I am.”
“Want to talk about it?” He asked.
“That depends. Are you sticking around long enough for me to tell you?” You rolled your eyes.
He chuckled. “Ouch, C’mon.”
“It’s just Spencer…” You trailed off.
You had told Jason about ‘A’ a while ago but you didn’t tell the girls that he knew. They wouldn’t approve. They all had significant others they could confide in, Jason was yours, even if it was just a deep friendship bond.
You were kind of in limbo. Sure, you knew the girls and hung out with them but you didn’t share the friendship that Emily, Hanna, Spencer and Aria had with each other. That’s why you weren’t at the little sleepover the night that Alison’s body went missing. They were excited about Senior year and you had graduated the year prior. You were working at your Mom’s office, taking a year off before college.
“I’ll see you later okay?” You wanted to avoid bringing up the texts because as far as he knew, the texts had stopped.
You were playing a personal game with ‘A’.
“Well, about that. Something came up, can we reschedule?” You didn’t even try to convince Jason to tell you what that something was.
“Sure, no problem.” You ended the call as you walked up your front steps.

Calum Hood Request - Part 5
Tumblr media
You headed into the bathroom to wash your face and get ready to lay down. You looked at yourself in the mirror and examined the damage to your lip. You carefully wiped off the dry blood and brushed your teeth. You quickly slipped on a pair of sleep shorts and matching top. Once you felt relaxed enough, you walked out into your bedroom. Calum was already in his boxers and tank, sprawled out a crossed your bed and flipping through the channels on the small television. When he saw you enter the room, he smiled in your direction and moved over so you could get into bed.
"I'll sleep on the couch..." He started but you cut him off and let him know there was no need.
He used this as an invitation to move beside you. You sat up and pulled your hair into a high ponytail. You were about to lay down but the feeling of lips on your shoulder stopped you. You felt Calum's soft lips kissing different spots and you realized that he was kissing your bruises. There was a tingle sensation with each kiss. You turned to face him. Pieces of Calum's dark hair were out of place, his lips were curled into an innocent, yet mischievous grin and his fingers drew small circles on your upper thigh. This was your best friend. You were his. Would this make things complicated ?
Almost as if he was reading your mind, he answered your question in a raspy voice. "I care about you more than you know. I would never hurt you, you know that right?"
You nodded your head. "I know that. I think my feelings for you are more than friendship."
"So are mine. You're the first person I think of in the morning and the last before I go to sleep." Calum sighed.
"Why didn't you tell me this before?" You whispered, as you thought about how different things would be if you had only known this important information.
He grabbed a strand of loose curl that hung by your neck and twirled it around his finger. This was something that he frequently did. You bit your lip and tired to control your desire for him, at least long enough to finish the conversation. "I wanted to tell you but you seemed so happy when you met Logan, we were super busy with the album and then in a few months we would've been headed out on tour. I didn't want to complicate things for you and then hit the road. Obviously, now I wish I would have."
You saw the guilt pass over Calum's face. "Cal, nothing that happened between Logan and I was your fault. Sure, I wish you would have expressed your feelings for me sooner but that's life."
"What matters is now." He said the statement like he was trying to convince himself.
You let a small giggle escape your lips. "What matters is now." You repeated to reassure him.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked in all seriousness.
"You can do whatever you want." Finally, this was going to happen.
His dark brown eyes widened and his grin grew wider. "Don't say that." His voice was low and full of want.
He pressed his lips softly onto your own. Once he was satisfied that he wasn't hurting you, he crashed his lips harder onto yours. Lightly biting. His touch went from soft to vigorous, as he moved his hands along your skin.
You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding in.
"You okay?" He asked into your ear.
"I'm perfect." You answered as your right hand was tangled in his hair and your left was scratching softly down his spine. He shuttered at the touch.
"Yea you are." That was the last thing he said before turning his full attention to your body.

Calum Hood Request - Part 4
Tumblr media
The music pumped from the speakers, causing a pounding in your head with every beat. The flashing lights induced your eyes to gloss over with frustrated tears. You felt Leah's grip on your arm as she pulled you towards the hangout spot. Your nerves jumped with every step. You followed Leah up the small steps that lead to the landing where the boys continued to dance and drink. You noticed Luke and Michael had invited two unfamiliar females to chill. They had probably snagged them from the dance floor, or, the girls came up to them, shameless as some females were with the boys. Calum and Ashton were talking over a beer. Leah sat you down on a stool, grabbed a napkin from the tabletop and quickly dipped it in a shot of vodka. She handed you the shot and you quickly took it, eyes closed for full effect. Before you were able to open your eyes, she dabbed your lip with the damp napkin. You felt a sudden and harsh sting as the alcohol touched the cut on your bottom lip.
"What the fuck." You said out of shock and pain.
"I had to!" She said over the music.
"What's going on? Where did you ladies disappear to?" Ashton asked Leah as he came up behind her.
Leah quickly moved in front of you and turned to face him. You knew she was trying to block you from Ashton's view. You weren't even embarrassed about the situation anymore. You were just relieved that it was over for good now. That all it costed you was a punch in the face and now Logan would leave you be. You were fine.
"What happened to her lip?" Ashton asked Leah as he motioned towards you.
"What's wrong with her lip?" It was Calum's deep voice now.
"Guys, give her some space." Leah tried.
"Why does she even need space?" Calum argued back.
Your head was still tilted down, staring at the sticky floor under your black heels. You listened to the three of them bicker back and forth until you couldn't take it anymore. You stood up fast, making the three of them take a step back. "I'm fine! There's nothing wrong. Let's have fun!" You were sick of the black cloud the had been hovering over you the past two days and you weren't going to let it get to the others.
You poured yourself two large shots and downed them without a pause. You cracked open a bottle of beer and began to chug. "I love this song." You smiled and pulled on Leah.
"Ellie..." You could hear the sadness in Leah's voice and it made you angry.
"No! We are here to have fun." You said, face to face with her.
She moved closer, putting her hand on your shoulder. "Just tell them. If I can see through your act, so can they."
You looked Leah in her eyes. You knew she was right but was it really too much to ask that your friends ignored the pitiful fact that you had a busted lip? You just wanted everything to go back to normal. The past few days, you tried to avoid being treated like a wounded pet but it seemed like it was too late for that. You looked around to see Luke and Ashton standing to your right, Michael had escorted the unknown females away, and you could feel Calum's eyes on your back.
"I'm going home." This was all you could muster up as you stormed pasted Leah and headed for the front entrance of the club.
Suddenly, everything about the place pissed you off. The sweaty people, the lights and the same old radio station songs being played by the DJ. You couldn't push yourself through those double doors fast enough. It wasn't until the night air hit your face did you realize that tears had began to slip from your eyes. You started off down the street. Your heels clicking on the concrete as you angrily walked down the block. You felt someone following you. You turned your head to see Calum a few feet back, hands pushed into his front pockets. You huffed and shook your head in disagreement. You continued to walk, periodically turning around to see if Calum had given up. He hadn't.
You paused for a moment. "You sure are persistent aren't you?"
Calum shrugged, not removing his hands from his pockets. "I'm not going to let you walk alone."
"Maybe I want to be alone." You retorted.
"You're the one who stopped to talk to me. I was just headed this way." Calum's voice wasn't playful, it was flat.
You cocked your hip to the side in amusement.
He kept his glare.
"What do you want from me?" You asked, crossing your arms in a defensive manner.
"I want you to tell me why I had to find out about this situation from Leah. She explained it all. Luke's wondering the same." Calum finally removed his hands from his pockets, only to cross his arms as well.
You rolled your eyes. "It wasn't her story to tell."
"We all care about you. We want to be here for you but we can't unless you trust us." His voice was low.
You felt yourself getting lost in his eyes again, even when they weren't full of happiness. "I do trust you. I wasn't ready."
"I get it. Let me call a car." He said as he pulled out his phone and pressed a few buttons.
You and Calum stood on the sidewalk in a comfortable silence, neither of you sure about what to say. The car eventually pulled up and Calum opened the door to let you in. You scooted into the back and the driver asked where to. Calum gave him your address and the car began moving. You watched out of the window as the lights whizzed by. Calum shifted in his seat, still not saying anything. You were glad he was there with you, even if you would rather be alone. Even in a situation like this, Calum's presence still made things better. You let your head fall onto his shoulder. He seemed to relax at your gesture. His hands softly took your small ones into their own.
The driver pulled up in front of your house and turned around, asking Calum's destination.
"My parents are gone." You said this so quietly, you weren't sure if Calum even heard you.
"Go ahead." Calum instructed you to get out from the car.
You did as he said and watched him hand the driver a tip before he climbed out. "I'm staying with you."
"Good." You both smiled at each other for the first time since your moody episode.

Calum Hood Request - Part 3
Tumblr media
As you and Leah walked over to Luke's you got the overwhelming feeling that you were late. You checked your phone and it said 9:20. Luke had told you 9 o'clock and the expressions on their faces as they all sat around on the porch, sipping slowly on beers, made you feel bad. You were normally on time.
Everyone hollered as you and Leah approached and the gang started towards the yard. You watched as Ashton jumped down the porch steps and strode over to Leah, starting up a conversation as they headed for the large van that was taking the group out tonight.
Luke smiled at you softly as he climbed into the passenger seat. You stood outside the van as you waited for everyone else to pile in. You felt an arm snake around your waist and a chin rest on your shoulder. You moved your head to the side taking in Calum's tanned face.
"Miss me?" He grinned as he pushed you slightly towards the van.
"Only as much as you missed me." You teased back.
"Then that must be a whole hell of a lot." He pulled on one of your long curls.
This guy could always cheer you up. No matter what the situation, if you felt yourself in Calum's arms, bad things seemed to just fade away and all that was left was Calum. It was a feeling that you had only told Luke about. Luke swore that Calum felt the same way but you made him promise not to tell. Luke knew deep down there was more than just a friendship connection between his two best friends but he would let things play out the way they were going to, he was never one for matchmaking.
You listened to everyone joking around on the way to the club. It was nice to be around people you cared about but Leah kept turning around to check on you. You gave her wide eyes showing her that she was being too obvious.
"What's that about huh?" Ashton asked as he nodded between you and Leah after have observed the interaction.
Your heart skipped a beat in nervousness. Leah started rambling to him about some random subject and soon enough the van was letting everyone out at the back door of the club. You were let in by the bouncer and lead over to a private section. Everyone crowded in, jumping around in excitement. You took a seat on the comfortable couch that was colored a deep purple. The club was pretty from where you sat. You could see all the lights, the sheer curtains hung all around the building. It was definitely better than being crunched together with a bunch of strangers.
"Isn't this great?" Leah questioned from beside you.
Calum began moving his body to the beat of the music and you couldn't take your eyes off his flexing muscles. You felt someone tap you on your shoulder. Your eyes met Leah's. "What?"
She huffed in a manner that made it known that she was annoyed. "I said this is great. You're acting like a zombie. If you don't want people to get suspicious, then you need to start acting like yourself."
You listened to Leah scold you as a waitress brought a few bottles over to the table. Ashton and Michael opened the bottles and began pouring shots. You looked up to see Calum's dark eyes staring back at you. He was leaning against a rail, observing you. You quickly smiled and turned to Leah. You made sure your voice was a whisper. "I think Calum knows something is up."
Leah was smart enough not to direct her eyes towards him as she stood up and grabbed two double shots. "C'mon girl! It's time to let go."
It sounded like a genetic statement but it meant so much more to you. You took a deep breath and gratefully took the shot from her hand. You raised your glass and she smiled at you knowingly. The alcohol burned the back of your throat but it had honestly been the most comforting feeling you had felt in days.
You continued on this way for over an hour. You could feel the vodka kicking in and it just made you happier. After you were finished jumping around with Calum, you both sat down. He sat closer than normal. You noticed it but made sure you didn't make a big deal about it. As he handed you another drink, his fingers touched yours and lingered for a moment.
"Luke told me what happened. I'm sorry." Calum spoke over the music.
You shrugged. "It's okay, it wasn't meant to be. I would rather not talk about it though."
"Whatever you want. I care about you, Ellie. I just want you to be okay." Calum's voice held a level of sincerity that almost made you melt.
Calum leaned forward just a little, waiting for you to close the gap. You became lost in his dark features, your fingers moving forward to touch his calloused ones. You felt a spark that you had always known was there but never acted upon.
"Ellie! I need to talk to you now." Leah interrupted you, trying to hide the franticness in her voice.
You sprung up and Leah pulled you out of earshot of the others. She had your phone in her hand. "You left this on the table. Logan is here, he saw you and has been blowing up your shit. The last text was threatening. I don't think he's playing around."
You snagged the phone from her hand and began to read.
Logan: So you can't take the time to respond to me but you're at the club?
Logan: I thought you cared about me more than that.
Logan: Can we please talk?
Logan: I see your with your band boys. You're pissing me the fuck off.
Logan: If you don't get away from Calum, I'm beating his ass with a bat. Answer me now.
Logan: If you don't meet me by the back hall in 5 minutes, I'm coming up there and it ain't going to be a friendly visit.
"Leah, I have to go talk to him. I don't want him coming up here! I've got like 2 minutes to get down there. You remember the scene he caused last time he was mad, I can't have that happen again." You explained to your friend.
"Well, who's to say something won't happen to you?" Leah asked with worry in her eyes.
"I can't think about that right now, Leah. I just don't want him coming up here." You pleaded as you quickly made your way out of the private club area and towards the back of the building where the bathrooms were located.
You felt someone following you and you turned around to see Leah trying to catch up. You pushed your way through the crowd as you exited through the back door. The night chill hit you as you entered the alley-way. You looked around to see Logan propped up against the brick building, blowing smoke from his cigarette.
"Are you fucking serious Ellie? It takes me threatening your fucking friends for you to just talk to me?" He was already angry and his voice was like venom.
You hugged yourself tightly, trying to keep yourself from shaking. "I already said everything that I needed to say!"
"Well, I haven't. I told you what happened was a mistake, you need to forgive me." Logan was radiating anger. He almost seemed like he was the one hurting, like the reason he was mad was because you had been the one to drive a wedge between the two of you.
"She doesn't HAVE to do anything. The way you acted was psychotic." Leah defended from behind you.
Logan flicked his cigarette in Leah's general direction and threw his arms in the air. "You had to bring this bitch." He complained.
You were beginning to get irritated. "Don't call her that. Of course I would bring her, did you think I would come meet you alone?"
As soon as the words left your lips, you felt the air surrounding the three of you become even tenser, if that was possible. Logan moved forward with heavy steps. "You're afraid of me?"
You stared into his icy blue eyes, trying to think of the best way to answer his question. Everything was setting him off lately and he was too close for comfort. "No."
"No?" He questioned, moving forward again but this time his chest bumped yours, making you lose your footing and stumble back.
"Ellie..." Leah began.
"Shut-up!" Logan spat towards her.
While he was distracted glaring at Leah, you used this opportunity to move away from him. This action was unsuccessful, as he pushed your shoulder, causing you to fall back against the brick wall. There was a knot in your throat, you yelped in pain from the previous contusions.
You could see Leah stiffen from beside you. Logan smelt of Jack Daniels and cigarettes. You wondered what happened to the Logan you knew from before. The guy who open doors and called you just to see how your day was going.
"Just tell me now, is this over or not?" Logan's eyes searched your face.
You tried to catch your breath. Your heart was pounding a mile a minute. You knew that you had to answer, no matter what the consequences. If you knew anything that was true about Logan, it was that he always needed closure. "This is 100% over."
You felt a fist collide with your face. It stung but the alcohol took off the edge. You were thankful for that fact as your hand came up to touch your lip.
Leah rushed over to you as Logan stormed off down the alley, towards the roadway. "Are you okay?"
You felt the warm blood trickling from your busted lip but for some reason, you felt content. "I think it's finally over."
"Let's get you cleaned up." She stated, pulling you back inside.

Calum Hood Request - Part 2
Tumblr media
It was tradition that whenever the boys came home one of their parents would throw a party. The other families would attend and food would be served, everyone would catch up and have a good time. The boys always looked forward to this. Family and friends had always been of huge importance to them, even after striking it big.
It was Luke's household that was hosting this year and you were silently giving thanks for that fact. You had mingled for about a half hour. You joked around with Michael, you talked to Luke's parents and you had even ate something. Once Ashton's parents began their toast and took the spotlight you left the house. You snuck over to your backyard and disappeared through the sliding glass doors. You felt a weight fall off your shoulders. Your parents were on vacation thousands of miles away and wouldn't be back for another week. You were able to let your face fall from the forced smile as you shuffled down the steps to your basement room. You fell onto your large bed, still clothed in your skinny jeans, as you pulled the blankets around yourself.
You closed your eyes but there was no way you could fall asleep.
You heard your phone buzzing but decided to ignored it.
You could hear footsteps coming down the steps. You closed your eyes tighter, hoping that whoever it was would think you were sleeping and leave.
"Ell, I know you're awake. You want to tell me what's wrong?" You had expected to hear Calum's voice but instead it was Luke.
You rolled over to face him.
He sat down at the foot of the bed. "So..."
"I'm just tired today, Luke. I really don't have any energy." You weren't lying.
Luke's arm reached out to your nightstand, he pressed a button on your phone and then let his hand fall back into his lap.  "Are you sure this doesn't have anything to do with the boyfriend?"
You knew he saw the 4 missed called from Logan. "We aren't together anymore."
"You guys seemed cool when we left. What happened?" Luke asked as he laid down next to you.
Your heart was beginning to pound and the bruises on your back began to ache as you recalled what had happened two nights ago. You thought about telling Luke exactly why you had left Logan. You shrugged, "Personal differences."
He shook his head. "That's a bit of a cop out answer huh?"
"What do you want me to say? We were only together about 7 months, it's not the end of the world. Logan just turned out to be someone different. Someone I didn't like." Your voice held an aggressive tone. A tone that Luke wasn't used to hearing.
Luke sat up and began getting off the bed. You lightly touched his wrist. "I'm sorry. I'm just stressed out. I really am glad your back."
Luke showed his famous wide smile. "I know. Don't worry about it, break-ups can be tough. We are all going out to the club tonight by the way. So, get ready and meet us at my place around 9."
"Do I have to?" you groaned at the thought.
"Yes, you have to." This was all Luke said as he took the basement steps two at a time.
Your phone began buzzing again, this time a text.
Logan: We need to talk.
You had already done all the talking necessary to make a clean break. He wasn't going to come begging for forgiveness, you were too smart for that. Getting out now was the best thing you could do for yourself. Those blue eyes of his had a different shade and they were blacker than black. Sadly, even through all the logic there was still a microscopic piece of you that missed him, the way he worried about you constantly, his protectiveness, his possessiveness, the way he made you feel loved.
Your phone buzzed again.
Calum: You're coming tonight right?
You: Of course.
Calum: Good, I miss you.
You: I miss you too.
Maybe being single wouldn't be so awful after all. You still had Calum to lean on, you still had the boys, Leah, your future to focus on. You sat up and gave Leah a call. You explained tonight's plan and asked if she would come along. She was there the night that Logan acted out and you were in need of some support from someone who actually knew what was going on. She agreed to come over and get ready together.
You pushed sadness to the back burner for now as you took a quick shower. Your natural curly hair fell over your shoulders in a messy but beautiful fashion. You stood wrapped in a towel, examining yourself in the mirror. As you turned from side to side, the bruises were visible. You began matching each bruise with a memory of what collided with your skin that night but you heard Leah bouncing down the stairs. You shut off the bathroom light and walked out into your bedroom.
"So! Please tell me Ashton is still single?" Leah begged as she threw her duffel bag on the chair and embraced you in a soft hug.
You smiled at her forwardness. Leah had always had a crush on Ashton, ever since the time he accidentally dropped a drum on her foot and acted like he cut off her arm. It was sweet actually. "As far as I know, he is. I didn't talk to anyone much today."
She showed a weak smile as she began taking clothes from her bag. "Do they know?"
You jumped at the notion. "Of course they don't know! Why the hell would they know?"
Leah held her hands up in surrender. "I was just asking. You normally tell Calum what's going on in your life, and Luke."
"Well this is different, Leah. This is more personal." You looked at her as she continued going through her things. You knew she didn't agree that it was "more" personal but instead, she knew that you felt embarrassed by the entire situation. You mainly didn't want them to think of you as some wounded animal that they needed to look after.
"So, I'm wearing this little number. What do you think?" Leah held up a red and black dress. The black lace covered her arms and the red skirted part would hug her curves nicely.
You smiled sincerely at your friend. "Leah, you would look beautiful in anything."
"So do you! What are you going to wear?" She played with her wavy auburn hair as she scanned your closet. She pulled out one of your favorite dresses. It was a small black dress, the skirt was slightly pleated and the top crossed in the front, making it look fancier than its price tag.
You could feel the stress bubbling in your stomach. You sighed heavily as you thought about the difficulty of dressing up. "It doesn't cover my back."
"Or your wrists, let's try something else." She stated sternly as she started rummaging through everything you owned and everything she brought.
You sat on your bed feeling like a barbie-doll as Leah ran around the room looking for the right thing to dress you in. Finally, she came out of your closet with a burgundy bodycon dress that had thin long sleeves and only exposed the shoulders. You tilted your head to the side in thought. "Will my shoulders be okay exposed?"
"Your hair will cover whatever this dress doesn't and the only other options aren't club worthy. Especially, clubbing with 5SOS." She was confident in the dress and you slipped it on. She looked you over and you both agreed this was the best it was going to get.
You both grabbed your clutches and headed over to Luke's.

Calum Hood Request - Part 1
Tumblr media
PART 1
You watched from your seat on the ground as your best friend Calum Hood, of 5SOS, rocked the stage. His eyes caught yours through the lens of your camera. As always, he shot you a goofy glare and continued playing his bass. Your stare was interrupted as Michael came into view. His platinum blond hair moving back and forth in the wind.
"Can you grab me a water? please." He asked loudly, so you could hear his request over the amps.
You nodded, rolled your eyes and pushed yourself off the ground. You walked backstage and started sifting through the cooler, looking for a cold water bottle. You walked back on stage and discreetly threw the bottle towards Michael, who caught it with ease. He winked as a thank-you and you smiled quickly, before retreating out of sight. You let out an audible sigh as you followed the long hallway back to the dressing rooms the boys shared.
Your family had lived next door to Luke Hemmings since you both were in elementary school. Naturally, the two of you had become friends. You bonded over junk food and adventures but once high school started, things changed a little. Luke went to Norwest Christian and you attended the rundown public school in the other direction. Luke became more interested in chasing skirts than going on adventures with you and you being the relaxed person you are, always understood that and never took it to heart. Luke texted you throughout the week and you still found yourself hanging around in his garage in the evenings, listening to him play guitar and sing silly covers. Eventually, those evenings in the garage were spent with two boys that Luke would bring home from school. Calum Hood and Michael Clifford, everyone just clicked. You used to think you and Luke would be inseparable but instead, you became that way with Calum. Even when they became famous, you still kept in touch like your lives depended on it. In the past, they had even let you come along on a short tour. Today, you just weren't feeling it. Since it was their last show and it was close to home, the boys asked if you could meet them over at the venue. You did. However, the past two months had been completely brutal and it was hard to keep the excitement.
You laid down on the tiny couch, covering up with one of the boys' jackets. You pulled out your phone and began aimlessly scrolling through Instagram. Your heart pinged when you saw the photo of him. He was laughing it up with his friends, his icy blue eyes glowing in the sun. You shook your head and hit the 'unfollow' button. He put on such a facade. He tricked you and would probably trick other innocent females into believing he was who he said he was. That he was some nice guy with a bright future, who cared about others. You gripped your phone tightly out of anger.
You began counting to 10.
...1
You were hoping it would settle your nerves.
...2
Deep breaths.
...3
Suppressing the memories.
...4
All the lies, the abuse.
...5
Emotional and physical.
...6
You hated him but you knew you had to let go of the hate.
...7
Hate would only bring you down.
...8
It was time to stay positive, to look at the good in life.
...9
To begin to love yourself again.
...10
The door busted open.
"Cal." You said in disapproval as he barged in, throwing your focus off and making you jump from your position. As you watched the others pile into the room, you shoved your phone in your back pocket.
"Ellie, darling!" Luke made a funny accent as he picked you up.
You winced as his hand pressed into a bruise on your back.
"What's wrong?" He asked as he abruptly put you down. Luke was playing with his lip ring, meaning he was nervous.
You chuckled and tried laughing it off. "Oh, it's nothing. I guess your hand pinched my skin or something." Lame but it worked.
"Sorry about that. I'm glad you came." He walked over to the mirror where he began wiping sweat away with a tissue.
You felt arms creep around your shoulders. Your body pressing back against a warm one. Calum Hood.
"Hey, you." You smiled as you touched his muscular arm.
"Hey yourself." This was all he said as he kissed the top of your head and headed over to his gear.
"Ellie! Is Leah coming to dinner at Luke's?" Ashton asked in a demeanor that showed he was trying not to look too eager.
You shook your head. "Nah, she's got a few things to take care of. She wishes you all well though. Especially you, Ashton." You had to add the last part just to torture him.
His cheeks went red. "Yea, thanks Ell." The tone was a bit sarcastic but you earned a laugh and a thumbs up from Michael.
You were glad the boys were home.
