do u still like bts even though they're so different now from how they started out? i remember seeing u were a big fan a few yrs ago and wanted to know what you think of them now :)
hello yes i do!! they’re def different from how they started out, but i like them as people too and my music tastes have also changed so i genuinely don’t mind their new direction!! (though their initial sound was perhaps more.. unique?)
and i’ve always followed them (even now) i’m just not active on this blog haha but follow me on twitter @annafeu i tweet abt jimi there
There's an app called Fanfic Pocket Library that's archiving fanfiction and putting ads on it without notifying the author. I found your fics on there. Just wanted to let you know.
hey thanks for letting me know!! i’ve been getting messages left and right for months (years even) about my fics being stolen and re-uploaded on wattpad, etc or what have u and idk how to get them taken down T T
no offense but how come none of y’all can just like or dislike something normally. it’s always gotta be “this is literally fucking flawless and pure” or “this is shit and you’re an immoral person for liking it” it’s so. Uncomfortable
At certain moments, East of Eden had the sense of being almost like a horror film - the same kind of unease The film kept making me uncomfortable. Thinking of doing something good, and instead being told you’ve done something terrible without even realizing it. Most movies I’d seen just didn’t deal with private feelings like that. - Martin Scorsese
hi! srry for being weird & sending, like, a single ask per year abt how you're doing (obligatory "we used to be friends and lost touch/i dropped off the face of the earth") but i do think of you from time to time and hope you're doing well, especially in regards to your health and schooling. i think i read awhile back you're working now, which is probably really hard, but i'm proud of u! you got this lol :-)
HI HELLO no omg that is so absolutely sweet i’m so touched someone cares enough about me to want to know how i’m doing lol!!
i was working last summer but i’m still in school!! i’m delaying my graduation a bit too cuz a full course load is a bit much for me (and honestly i’m not rly looking forward to joining the workforce/adulthood anyways), but yeah just taking every day as it comes. my health is pretty good atm thankfully :) struggled a bit with depression last school year, but i’m doing a little better atm. currently trying to figure out where i want to settle down after i graduate, right now it’s a battle between maybe moving back to london or staying in north america.
so yeah i guess that’s about all you’ve missed lol, thank u for all the support ♥
Liz Taylor referred to james as gay in her GLAAD acceptance speech! @rainbowdazzle and also claimed that she and Rock Hudson had a bet to see who could bed James Dean first on the set of Giant (Rock Hudson won, and is also confirmed gay)
other people who have claimed he’s gay/prefer men include Nicholas Ray (rebel without a cause director), Gavin Lambert (rebel screenwriter), Stanley Haggart (close friend), Rogers Brackett, William Bast (screenwriter, gay and claimed to have been in a relationship with him for 5 years), Darwin Porter, Donald Spoto, Jack Simmons, Joe Hyams, Val Holley, Noreen Nash, and John Gilmore (to name a few)
he was also allegedly the kept boy of sugar daddy and advertising mogul Rogers Brackett, who he lived with and helped him get jobs and advance his networking for most of his career.
if you wanna read about it, the Marlon Brando stuff is pretty wild and interesting (and backed by Tennessee Williams, Alec Wilder, and Rogers Brackett, apparently). james definitely had a masochistic and submissive streak, as he notoriously frequented the bondage bar Club, where he would ask for belt beatings and for people to stub their cigarettes out on him. Brian Molko of Placebo wrote the song “This Picture” about James Dean in reference to this
luckily, according to Eartha Kitt, Paul Newman and Dean have banged in a threesome
James Dean and Paul Newman’s incredibly iconic sexual tension filled screen test for East of Eden.
