You've no idea the number of times Maul mentioned Kilindi's head tresses. Mf probably wants to touch them.

I think that's his favorite part of her (as well as her eyes).

She recognizes it all too well.

The want to be alone. The deafening silence it brings. The longing that'll never be spoken. When she looks at him, she sees herself. What she once felt.

Nobody really grasped it, why Kilindi is so close with Maul, and why she's the only other person he tolerates. It's because she tries.

She's trying to be the person she would've wanted to have back then, back when she was alone. Someone to talk to, someone to keep him company.

She knows he doesn't mind, and his lack of refusal only confirms it. Kilindi understands Maul in a way others will never know.
