A lot of "daily witchcraft" stuff just boils down to practicing basic mindfulness and self-awareness. That's not a bad thing. Like mysticism aside, yeah your little daily witchcraft practices are certainly going to yield good results if it's making you reflect on your emotions, identify your goals, analyze what food and drink you're putting in your body, ground yourself, and act with intention on a daily basis if you weren't doing it before.

It is believed that this name originates from the fact that it was a signal for hunters to prepare for the upcoming cold winter by going hunting. This is because animals were beginning to fatten up in preparation for the winter season. Moreover, since fields had recently been cleared out under the Harvest Moon, hunters could easily spot deer and other animals that had come out to search for remaining scraps. Additionally, foxes and wolves would also come out to prey on these animals.
The earliest use of the term “Hunter’s Moon,” cited in the Oxford English Dictionary, is from 1710. Some sources suggest that other names for the Hunter’s Moon are the Sanguine or Blood Moon, either associated with the blood from hunting or the color of the changing autumn leaves.

Related festivals:
• Day of the Dead- (Spanish: Día de Muertos or Día de los Muertos) is a holiday traditionally celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, though other days, such as October 31 or November 6, may be included depending on the locality. It is widely observed in Mexico, where it largely developed & is also observed in other places, especially by people of Mexican heritage. Although related to the simultaneous Christian remembrances for Hallowtide, it has a much less solemn tone and is portrayed as a holiday of joyful celebration rather than mourning. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pay respects and to remember friends and family members who have died. These celebrations can take a humorous tone, as celebrants remember funny events and anecdotes about the departed.
• All Saints Day- is a Christian solemnity celebrated in honor of all the saints & martyrs of the Church, whether they are known or unknown
Activities:
• Dedicate an altar to loved ones who have passed
• Boil a simmer pot to cleanse your space
• Have a silent dinner
• Light a candle for your loved ones & yourself
• Decorate your house and/or altar
• Release negative energy & cleanse your with a ritual bath
• Pull tarot cards to see what may be in store for you ahead
• Cleanse, clean & de-clutter your space
• Leave offerings to the Fae
• Journal & reflect on your accomplishments, challenges & everything you did this year
•Go on a nature walk
• Learn a new form of divination
• Have a bonfire with your friends and/or family
• Carve pumpkins
• Express yourself creatively through art, music, ect
• Visit a cemetery & help clean off areas that need it or to visit a family member/ ancestor & leave an offering
• Hold a seance
• Bake spooky treats & bread as offerings
• Refresh your protection magicks, sigils & rituals
Samhain is a Gaelic festival on 1 November marking the end of the harvest season and beginning of winter or "darker half" of the year. Celebrations begin on the evening of 31 October, since the Celtic day began and ended at sunset.
This fire festival is celebrated on October 31st & is considered the Pagan New Year. It is the first Sabbat on the Wheel of the Year, a cross-quarter festival & the third (final) harvest festival of the mundane year. This is the time when the veil between the worlds of the living & those who have passed is the thinnest, which allows greater communication between the two
Some believe this is the time of the Goddess's mourning of the death of the God until his rebirth at Yule. The Goddess's sadness can be seen in the shortening, darkening days & the arrival of cold weather

daily practice ⋆·˚ ༘ *
❃゜・。. ・°゜✼ ゜°・ . 。・゜❃・。. ・°゜✼ ゜°・ . 。・゜❃
the act of daily practice if often very misunderstood. a daily practice does not mean to do spells and rituals every single day in order to be a witch. it is not necessary for a daily practice to be huge or something specifically special.
you may even find yourself so distant from your craft that you put it on pause for weeks, yeah even months. does this make you any less of a witch? does this make you any less powerful? no, absolutely not!
we are human beings. it is absolutely normal to put certain things last, especially when there are more important things for you at the time. perhaps you can't practice witchcraft while studying for exams or during stressful and difficult times. or you just can't bring yourself to practice it for no specific reason at all.
just know that this is so damn normal. you should never feel bad about yourself for pausing your craft. there might be a reason for that you don't yet understand! so don't push yourself too hard.
a way to keep the magic in your life, even after pausing your craft for a while, is by incorporating daily practices into your everyday-routine, even when you're still practicing actively at the moment.
now what does daily practice mean?
daily practices are the things you do on a daily basis, regularly. we'll soon get to how some of these practices can look like.
it can help you to stay in touch with your craft, with your power, you spirit guides, deities, etc. even on days you're not drawn to do actual magical rituals—which is NORMAL and absolutely OKAY.
a few examples of daily practices:
1. stirring intentions in your drinks and foods
2. wearing crystals
3. enchant your jewelry and wear it
4. dress according to today's planet ruler
5. put spell oils on your body or clothes
6. use glamour magic (this can be as simple as drawing sigils or runes on your face with your moisturizer or makeup)
7. light an ancestor, deity or spirit guide candle (if you have one)
8. divination

how to deal with a witchy burnout
most of us have been there. we lose our touch with the craft and don’t feel like doing much. we feel too tired and exhausted to put effort in it and sometimes we feels like there’s no point.
here are some tips on how to get out of this sticky situation! 🌙
drink tea ✨
yes, you heard me! drinking teas with specific herbs (like chamomile for sleep, lavender for anxiety, etc.) will help you get in tune with herbal magick. you can also stir your tea clockwise to bring forward something (like good energy or calmness) or add a sigil on the bottom with some honey (doesn’t have to be perfect). 🍵✨🌸
nature walk ✨
get in tune with those energies outside! i always find a walk on the grass helps pick up my mood (especially barefoot!!). envision the energies from the earth flowing into your body 🌱🌎🍃
witchy movie ✨
sometimes, we just need a little inspo to bring us back to our craft. watching witchy movies can bring back that spark into us! some great movies i recommend are:
the craft
hocus pocus
the love witch
practical magic
charmed (a show)
carrie
the vampire diaries (a show)
tarot ✨
start off with one card if more than that feels like it would tire you. it’s ok! you can do one in the morning by asking a simple question like “what should i focus on today?” 🔮✨💜
food ✨
incorporate some magick into the food you eat! this isn’t hard at all, especially since we all eat food everyday. simply add an intent to an herb or spice and then add it into your food. for example, add cinnamon onto your oatmeal, with your intent being that you will have abundance 🥐🍦🍩
songs ✨
songs are great to get you back into magick! listen to pagan music, celtic songs, or just look up “witchcraft songs,” “wiccan songs,” or “pagan songs” on spotify🌛🤍🌜
gratitude ✨
this one’s real simple! when you wake up, thank the universe that you got to live to see another day. you can even journal it. breathe in the air and think of how grateful you are that you’re able to do that. soak in the sun’s rays and feel the heat. 🌞🌼💛
final words...
it’s ok to take breaks! nothing wrong with that. it’s human. appreciate yourself as a person. remember, you are magickal and divine no matter how many burnouts you have. burnouts happen to nearly everyone and it’s completely normal! 🍄🐥🌈
sendin good vibez 💜

Why Some Witches Don't Like Wicca
I thought I'd give a list of reasons I've seen because I know some people get confused when they hear not all witches are Wiccan or follow Wiccan Rules.
Wicca stole many traditions from many cultures, the most prevalent (to me) being Celtic culture, more specifically Irish & Scottish Culture. I've also noticed many Hindu beliefs also taken such as Karma and Chakra. I know there are more as well.
Wicca uses a "love & light" rhetoric that is unrealistic for most people.
Wicca holds up the idea of binary gender when it comes to the Goddess and the Horned God that some enby people (as well as other trans and cis peeps) don't like or relate to.
Wicca uses the Wiccan Triple Goddess which some people don't like because it can feel like it enforces the idea that women are meant to be childbearers (the Mother aspect of the Triple Goddess) and that being a Mother is a natural part of being a woman.
Wicca is a religion, many witches do not practice a religion or do not like religion.
I'm sure there are more reasons, but these are the ones I see the most often, as well as some that I personally feel. I hope this sheds some light. I also wanna make it clear that this is not at all an attack on Wiccans, they are fully valid in wanting to practice Wicca.

What phase is the moon in again?
I've been seeing a lot of discussion about lunar magic, so I thought I'd post something that's been kicking around in my head for a minute.
Lunar magic is not an exact science. Don't be too hard on yourself if you have difficulty tracking the phases, forget when the zenith and nadir of the cycle are, or can't think of anything to do when the moon is full.
If you just miss the lunar timing you were aiming for, it's not the end of the world and you don't have to wait a full month to do your spell. The idea that spells can only be done at a particular time or risk failure simply because of less-than-perfect timing is asking a bit much of the modern witch, especially when planets and astrological aspects start getting involved.
Don't feel pressured to do your spells when the time is optimal according to some chart or social media post.
The time is right when you feel the need is present.
But if it helps, here are some of the things I use to help myself keep track of the lunar cycle.
2021 Lunar Calendar
Calendar-12.com (lets you check by location)
Cafe Astrology (for astrological aspects)
And here are some books that might help with further study.
Mansions of the Moon for the Green Witch (Moura)
Everyday Moon Magic (Morrison)
Moon Spells (Ahlquist)
The Moon Book (Gottesdiener)
Llewellyn Annual Moon Sign Book

🕊16 days of Shadow Work
✨ Here are the prompts as I promised! They are timeless, whenever they find you, feel free to use them.
Feel free to share your thoughts with me!!
✧ Day 1 What do I need to stop running away from? Why am I always running away from this and what is going to happen if I face it head-on?
✧ Day 2 What is my definition of failure? What’s something that I have previously failed at and how did it make me feel? How can I deal with failure in a healthy way?
✧ Day 3 How do I lie to myself everyday? Why am I doing this and what am I trying to avoid?
✧ Day 4 If I could say one thing to the person who hurt me the most, what would it be and why? How would I feel afterwards?
