It is nice to get your money's worth. In a world where the brand new bag of chips is mostly air, I can appreciate a very full container. However, this makes me look like the most terribly messy eater. But it is not really my fault. You open this container and it basically explodes, then you dress the salad and then when you stab it with a fork the tomato gets away causing complete mayhem. I've got like 6 napkins under this thing and it is no bigger than my hand. 馃槄馃槀馃檮

Anyways. I have a book for company. While I destroy this break room. I suppose as long as the book makes it through, I'm good.
I don't usually "schedule" anything in particular, but we always go camping at least once. And yes, I always take at least one boom wether I get to read any or not. Our family tent camps. So it's a lot of work. But we've been doing it forever so it has become a thing...
Generally my sister's and I get together with our kids and go for a long weekend. Everyone gets sunburned, no matter how much sunscreen is applied. And we all come home exhausted and incredibly happy to be reunited with our air conditioning.
" What greater gift than the love of a cat" - Charles Dickens
Have you noticed just how often cats are associated with books and vice-versa? There are bookstores that have resident cats that live on their shelves and in their stacks. My cats love my books. They are always on my shelves or stacks and getting in the way of every picture I'm trying to take LOL . I love it. But why? What is it that makes them want to be in the books all the time? My cats have a huge cat tree/castle and they still spend more time on my books. While looking I to this I found that in Egypt, way back in the day, cats were specifically trained to guard libraries from pests that would eat the scrolls. I think my girls just like the way they smell. I keep my space pretty chilly too, so I imagine the shelves are warmer than the open floor. Anyway, here are my girls. Getting all up close and personal with my books.
You get to live in a fantasy land.... where are you living?

This would be such a difficult decision. Am I going to be a human in this fantasy land or have some crazy powers....
If I get to have power, I'm thinking Crescent City wouldn't be a bad place to live. Also, the Night Court would be pretty amazing. But only if the move came with power. Sadly, humans do not tend to have very safe or happy lives in these stories.
I have a problem sharing my books. Other people do not always take the best care of them.
In Highschool, I lent a favorite book to a friend. A close friend. Her dog destroyed it. And she never replaced it. Who does that. Typically don't you take better care of things that are not yours?
I am traumatized and really do not share very often. But when I do share, they all have my gorgeous embossed label...
I had high hopes for this book, but just wasn't into it at all. I am going to try again some other time. I loved The Night Circus and so I think I hyped this up too much in my head.
