kind of gives me the vibes joker gave off in natsume’s jail when he makes the “hero” jokes (if players choose these options).

Persona 5 headcanon: I like to imagine that post game that Joker likes to call himself “God’s Chosen” as a joke because he was chosen by Yaldabaoth to participate in the game, even though he was meant to fail which just makes it funnier to say for him. Even says it to strangers and friends who wouldn’t even get it. For example if he was in an argument with someone he would say something like “I as God’s Chosen say this is the right way.” or something like “You dare go against God’s Chosen?!”

I think this is why I really like royal trio.

Akechi and Sumi friendship (especially in fanon) is always such an interesting concept. Seeing how the two can really understand one another.

There’s a lot of talk about akeshu being foils but I don’t think we talk enough about Akechi and Sumi being foils

I think the most tragic part about the entire situation is that Alice had to keep hearing Kara refer to her as a human. Kara was constantly flat out telling people “She’s human”.

Imagine how harmful that would be for Alice. She is just left to wonder if she isn’t good enough, or if Kara will leave her once she finally does recognize Alice as an android.

And doesn’t Kara get the option to?

If you choose “distant” after finding out Alice is an android at Jericho, Alice will walk away. You get the option later to either find her, or save yourself..

And that means Alice’s worst fear would come true.

Midnight Train

The opening scene was bugged and Kara spent the entire conversation looking to her left or right instead of straight ahead.

The conversation with Alice was… bizarre…

Alice: Why do humans hate us? We didn’t do anything wrong… Kara: [Misunderstanding] Maybe it’s a misunderstanding… Maybe they just need time to understand what we really are… Alice: Why can’t we just talk to each other? They’d see we’re not bad… Kara: [Optimistic] Maybe one day we will… | [Sincere] I don’t know… I really don’t know…

Alice pretty openly refers to herself as one of the androids. Kara seems to respond in kind, not objecting to that idea or finding it surprising. But then, immediately:

Kara: [Suggest eating] You need to eat something. You haven’t had anything since we left… Promise me you’ll try?

Back to denial again!

Then I did talk to Luther only to immediately automatically dismiss his attempt to discuss Alice, and completely missed the conversation with Alice where Kara can for once ask her what’s going on because I didn’t let her stay and watch one android mourning another.

I didn’t check the walkthrough for this chapter in the interest of doing at least something without being completely spoiled, so the cop scene was pretty stressful. I only managed to hide 2 out of 4 pieces of evidence before opening the door and thought I would fail! There was something wrong with the magazine: it was the first thing I tried, but I couldn’t interact with it until after the cop entered the house and read it — but then it still counted as hiding the evidence even though the cop just saw an ad for an android with the exact same face as the woman standing in front of him. Also I guess I was lucky to pick “washing machine”, people online say it’s the only valid answer?

Is this really the last of Kara’s own solo chapters? Markus and Connor get two more each! Girl…

People are really complaining about how Akechi is portrayed in fandom… but at the end of the day, you don’t HAVE to read or look at those portrayals.

Literally just move on. It isn’t hard!

Sure, it sucks when a a character isn’t portrayed right, but that’s the thing.. it’s all fanon. Not one of those people claimed their stories or art as canon, so why are people acting like they did??

It’s just so ridiculous that people are complaining about something when they can literally just move on. Make your own work if you don’t like the stuff out there! But don’t shit on someone’s hard work just because it doesn’t suit YOUR tastes.

this isnt all of it bc i gotta figure out some plot stuff but here's some worldbuilding info abt it so far:

akira = ladybug, akechi = chat noir, shido = hawkmoth, yusuke = fox miraculous, ryuji = turtle, makoto = bee (done for the queen joke), ann = tiger, haru = dragon, mona = rabbit?? (unsure what his role is), futaba = snake, sumire = mouse, igor = master fu

most p5 canon basics are true, such as akechi still being the detective prince n working for shido, but w/o the murdery bits. akechi's whole goal as the detective prince is to 1. cover up scandals n stuff for shido (needed a stand-in for the work he does as black mask in canon) and 2. catch n bring to justice the vigilantes ladybug and chat noir (james jonah jameson style). he's still famous n everything.

akira still works at leblanc and is on probation etc too. when he arrives he sees someone in trouble and debates abt helping them bc of what happened last time (getting arrested) but decides to help in the end, and this is what catches the notice of igor who gives him the ladybug miraculous through mona.

chat noir's personality is more like black mask and is more of akechi's "true self" as opposed to the detective prince schtick where he has to be perfect all the time, but ladybug is more of a confident act that akira uses bc he feels like "just himself" isn't a great superhero persona to have (for lack of a better word). however, like lb and cn in mlb canon, both aspects are part of their natural personalities, just that the ladybug and detective prince sides are more exaggerated.

unlike mlb canon, akechi/chat noir likes akira and akira/ladybug likes chat noir. they haven't revealed their identities yet.

akira sort of gives out miraculous like how marinette does, by need and generally individual for the most part. they don't know who he is either. at some point, akira also gives a miraculous to akechi as the detective prince and it leads to a lot of Where Is Chat Noir/Fuck I Need To Pretend I Have No Idea What I'm Doing And Am Morally Against This shenanigans
