As much as I like Zaire in a fantasy setting, I’m a wayyy bigger fan of historical fiction so of course I had to make an AU. I was thinking about how he might look in the year of our Lord 2024 and??? tbh?? I don’t see his style changing too much. Zaire probably dresses in slightly sleeker versions of his old stage style, but still retains a flair for dramatic pieces.

I just KNOW he’s the kind of Boomer to scroll on the phone with his index finger and start Lives on accident. I’m sure most of his posts are like,,, Blurry pics of sunsets, selfies taken too close to the camera, and like… Old photos, funny memes, and fan art people send him. I can see him answering people’s questions from time to time, too. I wanna follow his socials so bad, guys 😭

Oops a new boy just dropped,,,

Prince Zaire was once the king’s pride and joy: polite, obedient, need-less. The perfect son. Now, he’s a fugitive in his own kingdom.

Crushed under the weight of his father’s quiet, smiling oppression, the prince needed an escape that he found in music. Against the king’s wishes and orders, Zaire fled the safety of the castle to make a name for himself outside of the crown.

Unfortunately, the privilege of royalty left him with a warped view of how the world works, causing him to come off as snobby or even entitled to normal people. Despite this, while dodging the royal guard and playing gigs in a new town each night, Zaire is slowly learning more about the world, and who he is.

Beneath the glitter and ruffles, Zaire is a soft-spoken, gentle soul who yearns to be seen through his work.

Bio:

Riku is a grumpy doctor who's all bark and no bite. (Or at least, very little bite.) An antisocial flavor of introvert, Riku prefers to keep people at arms' length and act like being alone doesn't bother him. Despite his cold persona, he has a compassionate heart and enjoys making a substantial impact on the world around him, though in the least attributable ways possible. In his off-time, he plays guitar and writes the finest Butt-Rock this side of Crush 40. (Just don’t call it that in front of him. X’D)

Due to his canine nature, he exhibits some dog-like behaviors such as being afraid of thunder, emoting with his ears and tail, and chasing after thrown objects. He hates when this happens in front of others, and will be extra cranky about it.
