so cute! one question though-- if sokka is carrying toph and toph’s feet are off the ground, then how is she able to sense the zutara from afar? 

Is.. is the zutara kiss so powerful that Toph can feel the vibrations through Sokka (like a conductor) to the ground??

The Little Adventures of Katara (chapter 9)

Summary:  In which Katara discovers that size does matter. Also, the real one in need of saving might just be her giant, grumpy protector.

Ozai Plans a Vacation

“Can’t you get out of going to Ember Island?” Katara demands as she watches Zuko pace up and down in front of her.

“I tried.”

“Well, try more!”

He runs his hands through his hair, grabbing fistfuls. “You don’t understand. My father is not giving me a choice. Even Azula doesn’t get a choice.”

“What do we do then? What am I supposed to do?”

He releases his hair, leaving it mussed and sticking up everywhere. Their eyes meet and she can see her own worry in his eyes. Though she still stays in her tiny form during the day, she’s taken to switching to her normal size the moment the sky turns dark and the moon is up. Staying in the palace without him would be a huge risk. (Not to mention she’d have no way to get food or water.) Joining him on the forced vacation to Ember Island wouldn’t be much better.

I’m excited to share with you all “Legacy”- the newest entry in my personal tribute to the timeless & marvelous “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “The Legend of Korra” series! I finally found some free time this year to rewatch the series and then dive into reading the Dark Horse comics for the very first time ever. I am now all caught up and have a newfound affection for the lore, all thanks to the high talents of Mike DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko, and every other brilliant mind that has contributed to the Avatar series. A big thank you to each of them, as well as a big thanks to all of you for your continued support!

✦ I drew an environment/background for once!! my biggest weakness lmao!!!! I’m always intimidated by cities (even tho I love them sm) bc they’re so geometric, so the slightest mistake in the perspective or the lines and everything could go wrong (it’s lowkey zukka btw, lol)
