•Kaito definitely overworks himself at times. It’s almost like he never gives himself a break. So, of course, you were bound to pick up on this eventually.

•You suggested that he should take a night off and that you could put together a movie night together!

•He was absolutely open to the idea, as even he knew what he was doing was rather unhealthy.

•You guys went all out and built a pillow fort for the occasion. It was actually pretty damn cool. Kaito claimed that he’d picked up these things from team building activities when he was training to be an astronaut. It was sturdy, comfy and loaded with any snack you could think of.

•Kaito is pretty much open to any movie you wanna watch! If you think it’s good, he’s interested. He trusts your judgement, since you are his most reliable sidekick! If anything, more of an equal than a sidekick.

•The two of you got through a good few movies before you noticed that he had fallen asleep in the middle of one.

•You kinda expected him to be tired, and you didn’t want him to miss anymore of the movie, so you paused it and went to sleep yourself, saving the rest for when you guys were ready to resume it.

Kokichi Ouma

•Kokichi was the one who suggested you two pull an all nighter and hold a video game tournament.

•You told him that you liked the sound of that, and so you two got to work putting together a setup for the night.

•Kokichi is hella competitive, and you would definitely have to keep the scoreboard near you so that he didn’t add extra points for himself as soon as you were looking away.

•He’s probably try and lean over and get it anyway, claiming that it was “safer in his hands” because he was already the leader of D.I.C.E. and that should prove him trustworthy enough.

•Whether or not you let him get it is pretty much down to you though.

•The tournament consisted of mainly Mario Kart and Smash, down to his choice, but if you want something different he isn’t necessarily going to say no. After all, it’s your date night too!

•He’s upset when he loses, but lets it go, since after all, you are his precious s/o!

•On the other hand, if he wins, you’re not gonna hear the end of it for the next week.

Shuichi Saihara

•Shuichi is the type of person to have movie nights often, so this particular case wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.

•With Shuichi, movie nights aren’t too over the top, but they’re always special nevertheless.

•You guys tend to take turns picking movies, and rarely seem to argue.

•Shuichi is pretty good at the whole staying up all night thing, so that’s not a problem for him.

•He wouldn’t get mad if you did fall asleep during the movie, though.

•Likes to hold his s/o close during a movie, no matter what genre!

•If there’s some kind of a mystery in the movie, there’s a pretty good chance he can predict what’ll happen correctly.

🔎SHUICHI SAIHARA x CLAUSTROPHOBIC READER, STUCK IN AN ELEVATOR:

You and Shuichi had just gotten back from a dinner date that was... honestly quite people-y and you both didn't want to walk up the stairs so you both took the elevator to your apartment.

That was a mistake.

As you two waited in the elevator for it to get to your floor it seemed to be taking a bit longer than usual...

1 minute became 5, 5 became 10, aaaaaaand you both were stuck.

"...well... that's no good..."

He started to investigate or at least try to call the complex to see how the hell you two were gonna get out.

While he was busy with... that. You started to panic a bit.

(And by a bit, I mean, a lot)

You slid down the wall and balled yourself up, starting to cry as you just waited.

As Shuichi finished with trying to get complex to fix their (shitty) elevator he noticed you crying on the floor.

You quickly became his top priority

"S-S/O? Are you okay?"

He (admittedly kinda awkwardly) tried comforting you and reassuring you that everything was going to be alright

And soon enough, you two were out! Hurray!!

It only took... 45 minutes... but you were out!!

Once you two were back to your apartment, he so made sure your okay.

And he felt a little guilty for leaving you like that for how long it took for his to get the complex on the phone.

And yes, he might cuddle you while you two do your favorite activity.

All in all... alls well that ends well... right?

yeah this man? Is cuddly as hell. Usually when you two cuddle he holds you close and loves to hug you. It's like a big, soft bear trap. You decide if that is a good or bad thing- and if you like horror movies/scary things, prepare for lots and lots of cuddles. Because he will need them. Usually if you get him to he'll talk about soace, stars, and space facts. He also rambles about the occasional romantic sappy things. And if he falls asleep you'll be there for a fucking while dude. Like he just doesn't. let. go.

🎹KAEDE AKAMATSU;

She's a bit shy when it comes to cuddling, but once she gets confidence... you're in for a treat. She's a cuddling machine, and no she's not gonna be the big spoon... no matter how tall you are she's gonna be the little spoon (...even though she's like 5"8'...). She loves ramblinng about positive things like puppies, hope, etc. Or, a new song she might try to play. Whatever she's thinking about at the moment. She sometimes will fall asleep on you, and yes. Hair playing is essential. All in all, a very amazing cuddler.

🔎SHUICHI SAIHARA;

To say this boy is shy when it comes to cuddling is an understatment. He gets so flustered when you two cuddle. Like he can barely handle it. Big spoon or little spoon he's just so, so shy. Usually when you cuddle with him he is very silent, with a small chance of a small ramble. And no, no sleep for him he's too nervous. But something that makes him weak for cuddling is when you play with his hair, he just loves it and it relieves some stress for him. All in all nervous boy but he just likes his hair being played with.

🎲KOKICHI OUMA;

He's very high energy just in general so cuddling is a rare thing for you two. But if you get him to calm down enough he will be open to cuddles. Unlike Kaede he will never be the little spoon, instead he always insists that he is the big spoon (even though he's 5"1'). When you get him to cuddle he'll be the first one asleep for sure. And yes, teasing is a guarantee. He also loves just wrapping his arms around your waist and placing his head on your shoulder, no matter how tall you are.

💄TSUMUGI SHIROGANE;

She doesn't really like cuddles. Not only because it is super touchy and feely and it makes her blush a lot, it's also because she always finds herself a little bored with it. Though if you can get her to cuddle with you she just mumbles about things like cosplans, anime, dumb movies, etc. She also is really flustered that you are just... being here. With her. And just being yourself. And if you decide to style her hair, oh BOY she'll be a MESS. She loves you, and cuddles may not be her thing, but styling her hair makes her so, so soft and fuzzy inside it's just tHE BEST to her.

YTTD CUDDLING/AFFECTION HCS: SARA, JOE, KEIJI, REKO AND ALICE.

SARA CHIDOUIN:

Sara, just like Hajime, takes a little while to get comfortable and is more of a simple cuddling type of gal. It’s more mutual with her, neither one of you more protective than the other if that makes sense? She doesn’t talk much, and it’s more just relaxing for her than anything. Things can get to her head pretty easily without her even realising it at all. It’s like she doesn’t know she’s even stressed until you’re in one another’s arms.

JOE TAZUNA:

Extremely affectionate! Will cuddle with you anywhere and everywhere. Probably takes photos of you if you fall asleep next to him so he can show you how cute you looked when you wake up! He’s very talkative, so he can’t stay silent for long. Less sentimental, more of a casual daily practice for you guys. You just got back after being away all day? Yeah you’re not getting out of this, get over here. That type of thing, ya know?

KEIJI SHINOGI;

He needs to be able to physically touch his s/o to know that they’re there a lot of the time. Even when he isn’t hallucinating, he can overthink and let the slightest things get to his head. He needs to have you there. This is only heightened in the moments when he gets those flashbacks, though. Holding his s/o tightly to know that somebody is there that he can trust is one of the only things that will calm him down. It’s a distraction from the images that he sees, too. Just has to focus on you, that’s all, and hopefully wait until they go away again. If he does happen to be hallucinating though, it’s best to wait for him to ask rather than just going in, to be sure that’s what he wants. These things are complicated, but he’s grateful if you can take the time to be patient and understand what he’s gone through. It’s overwhelming and difficult, after all.

REKO YABUSAME:

As I mentioned earlier, this girl savours quality time with her S/O. She’ll most likely try to cuddle after getting home from a performance. She’s either going to be extremely tired and fall asleep instantly, or full of energy and attempting an all nighter with them. She’s the kind of person that’s all for borrowing clothes in a relationship, either way around. Seeing her s/o in something of hers while giving them all of the affection they deserve is just what she needs after a long night, in all honesty.

ALICE YABUSAME:

Alice is pretty damn touch starved. Once in an established relationship where he can let his guard down, he’s all for affection, despite not being used to it at all. He’s super grateful for it in any situation really. To have someone to confide in and spend time with is so much more than he could ever ask for or thought that he could get. He’s a stay up late and sleep in late kinda guy, so cuddling is mostly reserved for whenever he first wakes up.

TRIGGER HAPPY HAVOC CUDDLING HEADCANONS:

🍩AOI ASAHINA;

To say that this girl just loves cuddles is an understatment. This girl adores cuddles with a passion. Whenever you're comfortable she would love to cuddle with you. And she's an amazing cuddler too. She'll play with your hair, rub your back, put her head in the crook of your neck, anything she can do she will. Of course, with permission. She probably will be the first one to fall asleep but she will try to talk about what is one her mind. Swimming? Yep. Donuts? Yeah. Bisexual Tuck of Shirts™? Hell to the yes. She just loves being with her s/o's and having a nice time :)!

📚TOKO FUKAWA;

To say that she is touch-starved but tsundere about it is an understatment. If you managed to get her to cuddle she is cuddly. Not as cuddly as Hina, but she will still cling to you for a bit. Though she most likely won't fall asleep first after awhile of cuddling she may just rest for a bit. Usually with her you'll need to get her to talk, and if she does she'll just talk about what she is currently writing. To her the best cuddles you'll have with her is silent cuddles that could last for an hour or two. Just the two of you there, doing/working on something.

🔮YASUHIRO HAGAKURE;

Very much like Hina, he loves cuddles. But, he is much more chill about it. He's a tall guy, so most likely you'll be the small one and he adores it when his s/o is the small one. Be sure you're ready for a lot of hair playing because he absolutely will not let go of your hair. Bonus points if you have long hair because he will style it so much. Braids? Yep. Pony/Pigtails? Yes. Buns? Fuck to the yeah. He is also super talkative when you cuddle with him so prepare for his rambles about aliens and how the happy birthday song is demonic. He's just a big baby when it comes to cuddles so yes, expect a lot of them.

🗡MUKURO IKUSABA;

She doesn't know how to cuddle. At all. So you'll need to teach her. But usually if you cuddle with her she just kinda sits still and after like a solid 2 minutes of you trying to cuddle her she'll just turn to you and ask, "what are you trying to do?" Like. She's so geniunely confused. She sometimes talks, sometimes she doesn't, it depends on her mood though. And no, she won't fall asleep. Like, ever while cuddling. She's just super confused but once she knows how to cuddle she gives AMAZING cuddles. She's so strong and you'd just feel so safe with you and she'd feel safe too. It'll just be, amazing.

🍀MAKOTO NAEGI;

He's actually pretty calm about cuddling. When it comes to talking he can keep a conversation going about anything. You had a bad day? C'mere and cuddle it out. You wanna ramble about a hobby/interest? No problemo, he's here to listen. Though sometimes if you are silent he'll fill that silence with rambles about how much he loves you and motivational speeches are a guarantee. He also loves it when he's the big spoon but he also can deal with being the little spoon (of course if you're taller than him). And most the time he'll be the last to fall asleep but he will sometimes fall asleep first if he is just really, really tired.

SDR2 CUDDLING / GENERAL AFFECTION HEADCANONS; PEKO, SONIA, SOUDA, HAJIME AND GUNDHAM

PEKO PEKOYAMA:

Peko isn’t really used to receiving much affection or showing off her emotional vulnerability. It’s hard for her to open up this way but she’ll try her best for her partner, as it’s not like she’s against it, but rather that she’s just unsure. Her instinct would be to hold her partner against her in a protective manner, her arms tightly around them. She’s tense at first, but eventually learns to relax. She’s the type to only cuddle in private, usually when watching a movie or something. It’s simple, but it’s more than enough to make her happy.

SONIA NEVERMIND:

She’s actually pretty affectionate and open right away, since she’s always been the extroverted type. She doesn’t mind waiting if you’re not comfortable straight away, though. Her favourite thing to do is just to have those kind of moments sat by a fireplace or something of that sort with a warm drink. She absolutely thrives in winter for this exact reason. It’s all the more reason to stay inside with you. Oh, and on the flip side, if you guys go out in the winter, she gets to cuddle with you afterwards! It’s almost like she can’t lose.

KAZUICHI SOUDA:

To say Kazuichi is touch starved is an understatement. If you think this type of thing would be meaningless and simply always escalate to something *more*, you couldn’t be more wrong, actually. Remember, his tough exterior is an act! These are the kinds of things he really treasures close to his heart, even if it’s only for a moment. He just wants to be as close to his s/o as possible, whether that’s an arm around them, holding hands, full on hugs that last what feels like a million years or whatever! Cuddles are absolutely no exception. If your hair is long enough, don’t be surprised if he starts to run his fingers through it or starts to braid it, because he will. All of the time.

HAJIME HINATA;

Hajime can get pretty shy about these things, and like Peko, as much as he enjoys it, it takes him a while to get comfy. Probably the type to only cuddle at night. He’s just a typical in bed with snacks and cuddles kinda guy. I very much doubt he would be the first to fall asleep, though, even if it’s comforting to him, he’s just not a heavy sleeper. Prefers to just take in the moment for a little while before drifting off himself.

GUNDHAM TANAKA:

Everyone say it with me, two person scarf, two person scarf, tw- He’s gonna share his scarf with you. Got that? This dude rarely has any chill, but sitting down and cuddling with his s/o is an exception. Might try and hold a casual conversation with you, too. He just lets down his facade and talks about whatever is on his mind. Sometimes if something is stressing him out especially, he will come to you to rant about it. He’s absolutely open and there for you to do the same.
