I Want to Start Something

A Tumblr-based string quartet!

This is going to be pretty difficult to pull off, so I’m going to need help.

To start this, I’ll need two violins, a cello, and someone who’s really good at mixing audio.

For instrumentalists, I would prefer if you had at least 5-6 years of experience on your instrument. If you are interested, message me with a reccording of a major and melodic minor scale of your choicw and two contrasting pieces of your choice; this will be your “audition” per se.

If you are really good at mixing music, also message me if you’re interestes in helping out.

Once we get this going, I’ll start a group chat on GroupMe, Whatsapp, Shapchat, or Line, depending on what everyone has.

For our Tumblr string quartet, we will have a side blog. Although we’ll be doing this for fun, I will be setting up a ko-fi (or patreon depending on what the group thinks) for donations.

The quartet will play all kind of string quartet piece. Composers, if you want, we can play your own music. That might be a little down the line, but we’ll notify once we’re ready.
