Thoughts on @taylorswift #TaylorSwift #TSTTPD The Tortured Poets Department (originally posted as several threads on Threads):

Taylor makes music to help her survive, process, grow, & thrive. Each era is a reflection of where she was & the process along the way. We the fans, are along for the journey. Some eras hit us more than others. Some will hit us more later. tsttpd is for people experienced in life & relationship. With young people get it all now no, but it will teach them to appreciate deep things & give words for later. No gatekeeping just appreciation of Ms. Swift's growth and our journey with her!

Into my 2nd listen of tsttpd "But Daddy I Love Him" is hard for me as a Christian. Because it calls out some non-christlike behavior in society/the church. We have to examine ourselves and that is good. Yet I also think non-christians need to understand Christ is fully just and fully loving. We christians are not perfect in walking after Him and need forgiveness Christ meets us where He finds us but does not leave us there. -----------

Listen evermore is at the top of my Taylor Swift albums (just edged out by 1989 by not by much). and "ivy" (clean version) is my favorite song. Can we talk about how tsttpd "The Albatross" sounds musically like the continuation of "ivy" wow!

I grew up watching the 70's ITV (from the U.K.) version on Nickelodeon. Enjoyed the 2013 show on the CW. Now my podcast Tomorrow's Legends is covering the show. John Williams, Hans Zimmer and Bear McCreary are my top 3 film/TV composers. I was listening to Bear's Battlestar Galactica soundtracks the other day and this one came up. So powerful. This version is amazingly done by him on accordion.

Our podcast, Tomorrow's Legends, needed a show to cover while we waited for Superman & Lois. None of us had seen #JupitersLegacy and we have been blown away with how good & powerful it is. This is strength, the most powerful person in the world needs and wants to be vulnerable & protected in the arms of his wife. This type of marriage & a marriage this far along is something we have NOT seen in films. It's why I LOVE #SupermanAndLois It is a shame that DC/Warner Brothers cannot see that fans love Superman and having a moving & a TV show with the character will not dilute the property. It gives us more of what we love. So upset S&L season 4 will be its' last! @tylerhoechlin @BitsieTulloch

I think @DCOfficial @wbpictures @JamesGunn are out of touch. They think #SupermanAndLois and Superman Legacy out at the same time would compete/confuse fans. WRONG! This graphic only show SOME of the times DC heroes were on at the same time.

The podcast I'm a part of, Tomorrow's Legends, is covering Jupiter's Legacy. None of us saw it when it premiered. We are really loving covering it week to week (avoiding spoilers). We cannot understand why Netflix didn't pick it up! We had a great discussion this week between the parallels between Sheldon & Chloe in their rock bottom falls. Episode 4 was dark but powerful.
