A little OC/Alex moment. My OC's name is Dakota Snow and she joins the BAU team. Breaks away from the actual show, basically continues as if Alex Blake had never left. Because goddammit she deserved more screen time.

Kissing prompt: "Shut up and kiss me."

"Shut up and kiss me." She blinks in surprise, her mouth falls open to speak, but no words can come out. She stares at the older woman, standing just outside her apartment.

"A-Alex I don't-" The brunette growls, taking a step forward and smashing their lips together in a bruising kiss. Dakota groans, instinctively caressing Alex's face. The older woman growls, again wrapping her arms around Dakota's waist, pulling her closer. The need for air was far too soon as they pulled apart. Dakota licks her lips, clearing her suddenly dry, throat.

"Um...damn." she laughs, reaching up to tuck a loose curl back behind Alex's ear. The linguist smiles, cupping the other's cheek, lightly brushing her bottom lip with her thumb.

"I've waited to do this for months." Alex breathes, leaning forward so their foreheads were touching. Dakota smiles, brushing her nose up against Alex's.

"Ya know, for a linguist, you suck at using your words." Alex laughs, a sound Dakota knew she loved listening to, wanting to hear that sound forever.

Started a Criminal Minds fanfic about Alex Blake and an OC I created. My computer randomly updated and restarted, corrupting the save file. Luckily, I had sent a copy to my best friend. After an hour of attempting not to be blinded by rage, he sends me his copy in an email and I was able to recover some of what I had already written. Phewwie. Talk about a gotdamn heart attack.

I was late to the party when I came to Steven Universe. I just finished SU, The SU, movie and SUF within the past few weeks and I forgot what a WHIRLWIND it was. Things from silly songs about cookie cat, to figuring out how to save the galaxy. The laughter, the tears that rolled down my face as I craved a lost parent as Steven lost his mother, it all hit home so well. It has been such an inspiration to my personal life and honestly, Rebecca Sugar has done the same for so many people. Like she's our Steven. The Steven for the real world. Well, well, well, will you look at that? It’s Pride again.

You know the drill by now. It’s June 1, and suddenly everything from banks to big box stores has slapped a rainbow on their logo. Rainbow capitalism knows how to target LGBTQIA+ customers. For exactly 30 days of the year. How quaint.

Of course, it’s nice to make things bright, and colorful, and pretty. But it’s meaningless if that’s all it is.

Pride should be about uplifting and celebrating you, the community. And it should be year-round, not just 8.22% of the year. I feel so bad for Rebecca honestly. She had so much planned for the show, and stated herself that she didn't know if they had anything else planned after season 5 because CN didn't confirm it until CYM had been completely written. Afterwards, they greenlit Future, which is why it's written the way it was. So here's some stuff Rebecca had said she wanted to get into or stuff that the writers had confirmed would happen until all of the aforementioned.

Amethyst backstory episode (where Rose is very motherly.), An episode about Rose deciding to have Steven, an episode regarding Rhodonite's backstory, an episode with Morganite (who even had a canon design!), Mystery Girl's return, why the Zircon's were "in trouble.", Spinel and the diamonds still having "problems to settle out.", what happens when a gem is left in the dark too long, Lapis lore, backstory, and details about her powers, an episode about Lars discovering his lion powers.

All of this stuff was mentioned by some of the crew but I don't blame them for none of it getting to be made. I can tell they wanted to do so much more, but over the years the Steven Bomb format was set up and the crew had to start writing the story in small clusters of episodes to air in bomb format rather than how it was formerly written. I just wish the crew had gotten more say in their show's airing format because over the last few years CN has had some serious bias against their animated shows regarding TTG. Hopefully with their new CEO and management (who was a former showrunner!) each creator gets equal say in how their show is run.
