Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Gelsey in this tropical salute to P-51 Mustang. As Gelsey walks through the USAAF base, her vibrant Hawaiian attire turned heads faster than the roar of P-51 Mustangs overhead, making her the most dazzling sight on the tarmac. With each flutter of her skirt, she left behind a trail of envious glances from the pilots, who couldn't decide whether to fly or follow her.

'Hoppy' Easter! Here's a new one for this Easter Sunday! And a poem to go with this special pinup for today: At Easter's dawn, there's Bonnie, the hare, In her bunny outfit, with ears in the air. With hops and skips, she's quite debonair, In her fluffy attire, spreading joy everywhere!

While this pinup was partially created with the help of AI elements. The original 'pose' and concept came from a photograph of a real model in this pose along with subsequent digital painting for the initial concept. This mnually created work was then custom used to 'influence' the AI to be less 'artificial' and more controlled like a filter. Background elements were manually created in Photoshop and hand painted/designed. The AI image was taken into photoshop and revisited several times to perfect bad details and heavily edited/repainted then composited to produce the final image. Additional details were added and manually painted digitally. When all is is finished, only about 30% of the original AI render remains. The idea is to use AI as a tool and part of the workflow ONLY in creating brand new unique pinups in a brand-new style while still honoring the classic pinups of the 1940s/1950s.

And a poem to go with this special pinup for today: At the rainbow's end, there's Mabel, so bright, In a pot of gold, she's a sheer delight. With antics aplenty, she's quite the sight, In her pot of riches, shining bright! While this pinup was partially created with AI as a base, custom styles were applied based on my own work resulting from many weeks’ worth of training and testing. Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Cristina in this literal 'salute' to the Grumman F6F Hellcat! With a first flight in 1942, the mighty Hellcat was produced between 1942 and 1945 with over 12,200 built. It was a rugged carrier aircraft serving with the US Navy as the front line Naval fighter during WW2. This 9,200+ pound aircraft could travel 391 mph with a range of 945 miles. Both the Marines and Navy used the Hellcat along with Britain, France, and even Uruguay.

Note: While I've been experimenting with AI features added to the workflow of my pinup process it does not mean I'm abandoning the tradiational pinups I do like this one! I will continue to pepper them in with the new AI enhanced versions. I am continuing to try and combine my traditional style with the advancements that AI can do in order to streamline the process and make brand new pinups and styles never seen before.

Merry Christmas everyone! Today's pinup is a bit different and a first for me, it's done with AI. I've been experiemtning with AI generation, unhappy with all the AI pinups I've seen out there that just don't capture that 1940s/1950s look. Using a mix of custom trained models based on my own work and some famous pinups styles all mixed together, I've been able to capture something that looks straight out of the 1940s. Still, I wasn't completely happy and spent some time in photoshop correcting/replacing/blending/manually painting many things to get this final result. While AI is currently very controversial, it's here to stay. So I've been trying to ebrace it and see how it can fit into my workflow to create something new. In 2024 I plan to really experiment with using my own style I've had throughout the years and applying that to this look, but this is certainly a big first start!
