Most unrealistic part of Fallout New Vegas companions is that they all just disperse from you once the story is complete. Like you fought a war with and/or for me, a REVOLUTION, and you just fuck off after all that???
In my mind they all just sit in the Lucky 38 having Always Sunny-esque conversations with each other and the Courier until they venture out to get shot at for fun.

Enchanted ~ Caius Volturi One-Shot
~~~
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N ~ this is probably my favorite piece I’ve ever written and I hope y’all enjoy it 💜 posting off moblie so I apologize for any formatting issues. Also this is dedicated to @felixschokehold and @mell1806-blog who helped hype me up to finally write something lol.
Word count ~ 1122
Summary ~ Your first kiss with Caius 💜
~~~
Caius had caught you walking home alone earlier in the night.
Again.
It had become quite a common occurrence for your roommate to leave you alone while she left different clubs and restaurants with strangers each night.
It did used to hurt your feelings getting left at various places, especially by her. But now you didn’t mind as much as it meant more time with your red-eyed creature who couldn’t seem to stay away from you. Just about every night he would find you, and walk home with you. Caius would gently loop your arm with his and scold you for how dangerous it was for a young woman to be walking alone at night. He never missed a moment to be alone with you, and tonight was no exception.
Sorta.
Demetri and Felix, who he described as his coven mates and in a way business partners were never far from his side. While they had been very polite in the few times you had met and gave you and Caius plenty of space, they honestly scared you more than you wanted to admit. But they were nowhere to be found tonight.
Thankfully.
Although deep down you knew they were close.
But as far as you knew, it was just you and Caius alone as you stepped into your apartment. A first time occurrence for Caius. As you showed him the small space he was quiet throughout, there wasn’t much to show. Two small bedrooms and one bathroom and then the kitchen that was connected to the living room. Caius was more curious about the space you occupied more than anything.
He curiously looked around your room as you got clothes for a needed shower, your voice filled the room as you randomly babbled about your day to him. His eyes scanned your bookshelf, which were mostly fantasy novels mixed in with various college textbooks. He ran his fingers over your unmade bed, along your notebooks filled with various subjects, and finally came back to your side to trace the bottom of your spine to the top. His cold hand made you shiver.
Setting your clothes down you turned around to face his direction. You couldn’t help but smile up at him. Eyes twinkled as you moved your hands to rest on his chest. “I’m really glad you are here,” You whispered to him.
Moving your arms you pulled him into a closer embrace. As his arms followed suit he replied looking down at you. “As am I, Mí Cara, you can learn many things about someone by the way they live. And you, for some reason, I cannot know enough of.”
Being so close to Caius almost made you dizzy. There was no heartbeat as your head rested on his chest. No warmth. Just his natural intoxicating scent. You had never been this close for it to hit you as hard as it is right now. You could stay here forever.
Thoughts of a shower knocked you out of the trance he had you in. You very reluctantly pulled away. “Let me take a shower and you can get to know me as much as you want.”
~~~~~
“It is quite rude to leave your guest waiting for too long.” He sighed, pretending to be annoyed as you sat down beside him. Caius lightly pulled you closer to his side, brushing a stray piece of hair behind your ear, before wrapping his arms around you. His amused smile came back as he looked down at your grinning face.
You couldn’t help but laugh. Time meant nothing to this creature.
“You’ve waited a long time for me, I figured a couple more minutes wouldn’t hurt.” You teased him back; Giggling as you pulled a blanket over yourself, and reaching for your phone to stream music on your TV.
Caius didn’t seem to produce any body heat or even retain heat, a blanket was definitely needed.
“Taylor Swift?” He questioned you. “I am not familiar with her music”
“Really? Never?” You were surprised, especially when he’s mentioned in the past he is a very old creature, with all that age, how could he be oblivious to her music?
“Well we will start out with my favorite song then.” Picking up the phone again, you put on Enchanted.
There I was again tonight
Forcing laughter, faking smiles
Same old tired, lonely place
Walls of insincerity, shifting eyes and vacancy
Vanished when I saw your face
All I can say is, it was enchanting to meet you
A small sigh escaped you as you cuddled against Caius, letting yourself enjoy the moment. With one hand you grabbed him and intertwined your fingers. They were just as pale as the rest of his body, and just as cold. The longer you gazed at them the more you noticed what seemed to be… bite marks? Scattered all over. You couldn’t help the sudden worry that came over you. Who would hurt Caius like this?
“Those scars are very old and long since healed mía cara.” Caius assured you. His voice lifted your eyes to connect with his. They were a brighter red than when you last saw them. Similar to a flawless Ruby, if they could even compare to his beauty.
“These hands have seen many battles, and will possibly see many more conflicts to come. But I can assure you these hands will never bring harm to you.” He continued, while holding your gaze. His free hand came up to gently stroke your face.
“You have not been scared of my presence the entire time we’ve been in each other’s company, I would like to keep it that way. Which will be more difficult the more you see of me and know of me. Just know Mia Cara, you are one I could never bring harm to. You have my word.” Caius promised you. His red eyes were intense with emotion looking into yours. Those words genuinely came from his heart. It left you speechless.
Speaking of hearts, yours felt like it was going a million miles a minute. You could feel every beat, every rush of blood to different parts of your body. The mix of his words and the close proximity to you had such an effect on you. And he knew.
Caius kept his eyes on yours as he slowly moved in closer. His hand which had been stroking your face, had moved downwards and rested on your neck. Feeling your warm skin and the thud of your heart underneath. His breath was cool and intoxicating as it hit your face. You couldn’t wait any longer.
You closed the gap that separated your lips.
All I know is, I was enchanted to meet you.
As charming as spring
Tumblr media
Pairing: Demetri x fem!reader (no use of y/n)
A/N: With my jane fic I was like “I have truly no idea how I could write this. I write fluff. This is not fluff, not even close”. Then I go write another but for Demetri. There will be one for Felix and Alec too. I hope I nailed it but it does feel less creepy than Jane’s fic ❤️
Words: 2.8Kish
Warnings: nothing extreme happens but it’s the start of an unhealthy relationship where Demetri decides to keep you. Short chase. Kidnapping. Overprotectiveness. Felix, Jane and Alec are creepy with as bonus Jane being mean.
Tumblr media
As soon as winter left the country the large forests of the high mountains would explode in color. Many shades of green covered the trees while the grasses in the fields reached for the sun, their flowers blooming with the most beautiful colors. And every year you would wander through these forests to find those fields full of flowers. Plucking a bouquet to put in a vase in your house.
You stopped moving your hand, letting go of the flower you just plucked as a voice had startled you. Turning around you stumbled backwards, a man stood before you. So close you could have touched his coat if you didn’t stumble backwards and fell in the high grass. You didn’t notice you let go of your large bouquet of flowers. You didn’t notice he did notice. Looking up you watched the man watch you with a curious expression. An angel? You asked yourself. The answer was on the tip of your tongue but no words came out. It felt like you were in trance looking up at this beautiful man.
His eyes were dark crimson red and he wore a dark gray coat with purple on the sides. It looked old fashioned, as if he came from a different time. You gasped as he moved forward and kneeled in front of you, but you didn’t see him kneeling. You wanted to crawl backwards, run away, hide in the high grass, but something about how he looked at you made you feel stuck. Right here, in front of him. A smile appeared on his face. One that seemed to be of true happiness, it looked so genuine.
You stared at each other. It felt like long minutes, hours, days perhaps even. Nothing was on your mind, you only stared at his face, his dark eyes. It was impossible for people to have such eyes, you thought. He stared at you with a smile of wonder now. One that would have creeped you out and made you turn away if you weren’t..staring back in wonder as well. You gasped when the sun appeared from behind the clouds. Angel, you thought again. His skin shone in the sunlight, like thousand pieces of diamonds sealed into his skin. His smile widened, noticing how you looked at him in awe. Then while he held your gaze his right hand moved to grab your bouquet of flowers, holding them up for you. You wanted to look down at the flowers, you really did. But nothing in the entire world could make you look away from him. He looked so charming to you. Like a god among people. Like spring when it overtakes the cold of winter and charms its way into people’s hearts with blooming trees and flowers. You still took the flowers from him, holding them loosely. The man wanted to move forward, his hand getting close to your face but something distracted him. It was like someone called his name or made a noise that annoyed him because he moved his head toward the forest behind him with an expression of being bothered.
The moment you broke eye contact with him a voice inside your head screamed in agony. He was no angel, it hurt your eyes. You dropped the bouquet of flowers, crawling backwards until somehow your hands and legs felt enough strength to make you get up. You ran. Ran as fast as you could through the high grass into the forest. Right before you moved behind the trees you looked behind you to see the man react angrily at three others. One was tall like a giant, like a tree, the other two were small and looked like they could be twins. One of the twins wore a smile that could genuinely be of a devil.  The voice inside your head reminded you they all had dark red eyes. Not human, no angels.
You ran through the forest. Hoping to find the road quickly that led back to your village. But as you ran past the oaks and birches you heard cracks. Loud cracks like things were torn apart, like trees fell and crossed each other. The noises rang in your ears. Hurting and confusing you. You shrieked as you noticed shadows were following you, watching you run between the trees. The sudden growl behind you distracted you. You cried as you ran into a tree head on and fell on the soft earth. The pain made you sick of dizziness. You got up slowly, feeling like you were going to throw up. But the moment you got up and looked, you screamed, stumbling backwards against the tree.
He stared at you again. How could he stand so still in front of you? How could he have gotten so close without making any noise? This time he wore a smirk that faltered the moment he looked down at your crying face. His hands that he held so neatly behind his back flew toward your face. He cradled your face in his hands, holding you carefully. His hands that cupped your cheeks felt burning cold against your skin. You wanted to scream again, kick him, hit him, but the moment his eyes finally met yours you quieted again. You pleaded with him, you didn’t know what for. It felt useless.
“Bloodsinger?” A voice startled you. It came from the tall man who suddenly stood right next to this man. You gasped at the word. What did it mean? How did he appear so suddenly?
“She sings to my heart,” the man holding you smiled sickly sweet as he carefully wiped away the dirt that was on your cheek.
“Demetri,” the tall man laughed.
“I am serious, Felix” he growled.
You looked at them both. The man who held you so carefully now was called Demetri and the other Felix. You wanted to disappear in the tree against your back as you made eye contact with the other. Felix gave you a wink.
“How fortunate that would be,” a voice sang from behind you. You watched in agonizing fear as a girl turned around the tree and looked at you in disgust. She was as beautiful as an angel just like Demetri and the others. Her hair pale and with the same dark red eyes. You barely noticed her coat being darker than Demetri’s or the tall man.
“You do not touch it,” Demetri warned her. His left hand had moved to your neck, your throat, cold like a necklace.
“Funny, our dear tracker finally finds his other half in a-”, the look she gave you terrified you, “a human.” She sniffed the air.
Human?
“Don’t be mean, sister.”
You wanted to close your eyes as now four different people were staring at you. Not people, you reminded yourself again. They couldn’t be.
The boy who just spoke to his sister appeared from behind the girl and looked bored as he watched you. There was a hint of cruel interest as he moved his gaze toward Demetri.
Demetri almost pushed himself entirely against you. As if he was shielding you from the others. His cold hands made you shiver, your skin felt like it burned underneath his touch. You also felt like he was a wall. His body was hard against your chest. You heard him hissing when his face was close to your neck.
“I am hungry,” the girl said with a mean smile.
You watched Demetri look at you with anger. His hand that was around your throat tightened as he turned to look at the girl.
He hissed at her, “She is mine.”
You watched them in fear, feeling light from the lack of air. Then suddenly you felt like the earth was spinning around you. Like air was ripped from you. When you could breathe again you watched your surroundings disappear, other trees appeared on your sides and you looked at how the siblings and the tall man followed you through the forest. The realization hit you that you were on Demetri’s shoulder. It was like they didn’t touch the ground, the trees, anything. You grabbed pieces of the coat of your carrier, grounding your position as he had clearly thrown you over his shoulder with ease and ran at an ungodly quick pace through the forest. Definitely not human, the thought passed your mind.
Your surroundings changed so rapidly you watched in wonder at it. The colorful fields full of flowers and the large beeches disappeared slowly. Large pines, cypresses, dry fields of grass mixed with large fields of red flowers passed as well. You tried to remember the surroundings vividly as you closed your eyes. You didn’t feel like opening them anymore after a while.
You woke up when he lifted you off his shoulder and carried you inside a church. It was late. The sun stood low in the sky. You watched your surroundings disappear as he closed the doors behind you both. The church was in the middle of nowhere, no trees, endless fields of dry grass and one lonely road. You closed your eyes as he clearly ran again through what seemed like a long tunnel.
You watched the tunnel change into a dark hall that was decorated with art. A confused woman looked at you from behind her desk as Demetri carried you further through this hall. You had placed your chin on his shoulder, your right arm snaked around his neck and your left hand hurt from grabbing his coat so tightly. You felt your heart beat faster again, realizing slowly that you were hunted, chased and kidnapped. And you knew you weren’t near home anymore. Most likely not even in your own country. You whimpered at the thought, which Demetri reacted to by holding you tighter against his chest. You couldn’t watch his face anymore. His angelic face with dark eyes that watched you so carefully there in that field when you plucked flowers. His eyes that weren’t natural and his cold touch, which went right through your shirt.
You looked up, noticing the three others were suddenly there too. The tall man, Felix, looked at you with an expression you couldn’t place. You watched him smile and nod at Demetri when he turned to look at them. The siblings walked next to Felix. The pale haired girl gave you a creepy smile when you met her eyes but she said nothing.
You turned your head when you felt Demetri push open a large door. It was dark inside and you looked at the figures standing behind a table. It was filled with large books and lit candles. The lit candles made it possible for you to see the faces of the figures. Three men with also dark red eyes. They stared at you and Demetri with confused expressions.
Demetri stepped forward, putting you down on the floor. It was cold and the tiles looked ancient. You crossed your legs as you watched him place his hands behind his back, his expression neutral. You noticed he was speaking but his voice was inaudible to you. You turned to look at the three men. One of them looked pleased as he moved from behind the table. You watched this raven haired man move fast toward you. His eyes terrifying as he smiled so excitedly at you and Demetri. Then he held out his hands and you watched as Demetri let the man touch his hand. You raised your eyebrows, it looked so strange.
Then suddenly the man let go of Demetri’s hand and clapped as he turned to the other two men. They responded with mixed expressions. Then he turned back and kneeled until he could meet your eyes. You held your breath, crawling backwards until Demetri’s legs hit your back. You shrieked at how he again felt like a wall. Looking up at him you noticed he was giving you a reassuring smile. You felt confusion as his smile made you feel better.
“How endearing,” the man said dramatically, he held out a hand toward you, “would you mind?”
You didn’t understand his question. But you couldn’t deny him, feeling his intense gaze on you. With your heart beating loud against your chest, you gave him your hand. He smiled as he seemed to look right through you.
“I want you to turn her,” Demetri suddenly pleaded after the man let go of your hand.
Turn her? You pained your brain trying to make sense of his words.
“Of course, right now?” The man stood up, looking rather pleased.
You watched Demetri respond to his question then turned to look at the others. The two men who were standing behind the desk had moved to sit down. The one on the right looked pleased with content eyes while the other smirked darkly. You quickly looked away when he was to meet your eyes. The room looked like a throne room to you. It was however really dark and hard to see for you. You looked at how the tall man called Felix had moved to the other end of the room, standing there like a statue. The siblings stood in the middle, still wearing the same expressions as when you saw them in the hall again. You made sure to not meet their gaze.
You looked up at the raven haired man when he suddenly spoke loud enough for you to hear him, “It is decided then, my friends. Tonight we shall have a new member in our coven.”
You turned toward Demetri who bowed down toward you and held out his hands. You crawled away from him, causing his smile to falter at your decision and he suddenly grabbed you by force, holding you close to him while he carried you away from the other man. Away from this dark throne room. You whimpered, feeling his cold hard hands keep you tight against his chest. His movements seemed slow, as if he only took a few steps, but you watched your surroundings change quickly again. You gripped his coat tighter when your surroundings became so dark you couldn’t see anything. Pure darkness terrified you. The sound of a massive door opening made you instinctively squint your eyes, but you could literally not see anything.
Demetri placed you on what seemed to be a bed. The sheets felt cold and soft against your hands. You whimpered a “no” when he let go of you. You heard him chuckle. You gripped the sheets as you heard him move around in this space. Suddenly a warm yellowish light appeared and you watched in fear as you saw him light candles with matches. His pale face and dark eyes seemed to glow in the candle light. He gave you a smile as he continued to light the space. You watched in awe at the amount of books, maps, random old belongings scattered over the room slowly became visible for your eyes. You looked down at the sheets beneath you, they looked ancient. How old must he be? Are they all immortal? What did he mean when he asked the other man to turn you? You suddenly missed home.
When he was finished lighting every candle he kneeled in front of you. Taking your hands in his he kissed them carefully. As if he was scared to ruin them. You held your breath, looking at his face. He then gripped your hands, making you whimper in pain.
“You are everything I imagined-” his gaze saddened, “I have waited centuries for you.”
You wanted to cry. Both at his words and how painful his grip on your hands was.
He let go of them when he realized.
“I apologize, mi amor,” he cupped your cheeks, “I have not touched a human for so long other than those serving as dinner.” Demetri smirked cheekily at his own words, as if he meant it as a joke. You suddenly wished you could run away again, run back home.
“You will live here. I will make space for you. And you will be happy,” he said as he stood up.
You cried at his words, “I don’t want to. I want to go home-”
Demetri stared at you. His gaze was sad as he heard your words.
“But you are home, here with me. I will be your home,” his voice broke.
You looked up at him with pain in your heart. Something about his words made sense to you but a voice in your head warned you that this wasn’t gonna end right.
“I don’t-” you gulped, “understand what’s going on.”
“I know someone here. Her gift will help us.”
“What do you mean?”
His smile was dark as he watched your panicked face. He slowly lifted his hand to grab your chin, making you look him in the eyes. Demetri moved to kiss your forehead. His cold lips felt like a dangerous promise to you.
He whispered softly after the kiss, just loud enough that you could still hear him. You whimpered at his words.
“My love, once she finishes what I will ask of her you will want to be with me. And I will keep you here in my room to ensure you are safe. You will forever be mine.”
Gurll, i had this idea of my mind lately, so aro and reader where he choseses her to be his mate cus he find her quite intersthing and reader here is very afraid of him cus he is strong as af and is vampire but one day reader tells aro that she isnt his toy and aro gets mad , the rest is up to you bestie 💅😌
(A/n: Sorry, babe- I was in an angsty mood when writing this😅)
(A/n: Not proofread and written on mobile, so forgive any mistakes-)
Word Count: -
Summary- Choices have consequences. Though... some consequences can be dealt with if you're willing to make a new, darker choice. (Aka: Aro "Sulpicia's" the reader, ifykyk)
Warnings: None
Age Rating: None
Tumblr media
Aro Volturi x Fem! Reader: Choices
-------------------
You hate him.
You give a tug to the window, but to no avail. It's one of the highest windows, so you don't know what you would do if it did open. You're not that desperate yet. Though, considering how Corin is probably just outside the door, you doubt you ever will be.
Who does he think he is? You're a person, not a goddamn animal he can cage.
Moving to sit on the bed, you glare at the locked door. Maybe if you stare long enough, you can bore a hole into it, you think pathetically.
You fucking hate him.
All you had wanted to do was go shopping. I mean, if you're going to be stuck here forever, you might as well get to know the good shops from the bad ones early on. But no~
That's what Aro said when you told -keyword: "told," not "asked"- him you were going out today.
-
"No." Aro doesn't cease his reading to even spare you a glance.
"I wasn't asking," you scoff, turning on your heel to exit the throne room.
One second, you're leaving the ornate room. The next, Aro is in front of you, blocking your path.
"Neither was I, dear." The nickname is sour, dripping with condescension. " You're not to leave the castle without the guard. Do you see the guard here today?"
Your jaw sets. "Does talking to me like a child make you feel like a big, strong man, Aro?" You are surely going to regret this later, but you are past the point of caring right now.
"You have got to know you're pathetic. That's why you keep me under 24/7 surveillance, isn't it? Can't keep a partner with free will - you've got to lock 'em up?-"
Before you can dig any deeper, Aro has your arm in a bruising grip, practically dragging you through the castle.
He ignores your protests and struggles.
Before long, you're standing in front of a heavy, oak door. There are two lower guards standing on either side and a woman waiting, poised to open the door upon instruction.
The grin Aro turns to you with sends a shiver down your back.
"Since you're so eager to throw around the phrase "locked up", I figured it is only fair to show what it is really like. Corin?"
The woman opens the door, revealing a massive bedroom.
Two and two click together at the sight. "You can't be serious! No! You can't do this!"
"Oh but I can," Aro responds, pulling you inside.
"Until you learn to behave, this is where you will be staying. And don't think about doing anything rash - Corin will make sure you remain docile."
The woman -Corin- gives you a mock head bow, "At your service, M'lady~"
-end
can we all agree that if emmett and jasper weren’t so depressed about bella drinking all the blood in the house, they would have convinced her that ej was a great name for a boy but it should stand for emmett jasper not edward jacob.
