why won't my brain let me write!!!

#i work at a school and i was sitting there trying to continue writing the fic i started months ago in my notebook #while the kids were all testing and i wrote like maybe a paragraph #i literally have nothing else to be doing why cant i do itttttttttttttttttttttttttt #most of my ideas i get while driving so i usually record a voice memo and then forget to actually write it out for 2 months #i'm supposed to be figuring out new meds soon so i really hope that helps at least some of the problem #(: #:/ #fanfic #ao3 writer

“I love you,” Mike mumbles sleepily into his hair, wriggling closer. His arm winds across Will’s stomach, and Will feels the ghost of a kiss being pressed to the junction of his shoulder and neck.

Will blinks his eyes open, warmth flooding the length of his body. He shifts, twisting around to peer up at Mike, squinting. “You- what?” he murmurs, lifting an eyebrow, and Mike jolts up, peeking over his shoulder sheepishly.

“Oh,” he says, blushing as Will nudges his way to roll over onto his back, Mike hovering over him. “Sorry, I thought you were asleep.”

Will stares up at him. “You were gonna say you loved me for the first time while I was asleep?”

Mike lets out an undignified squeak, and drops his head down onto Will’s shoulder. “No.”

He’s grown into himself, still a little lanky and awkward in the use of his limbs, but there’s a newfound confidence to him. When introducing the next song he asks the crowd how many of them have ever been played by someone and they scream in response. Will wonders if childhood friends count.
