A few quick sketches I did for my story, either to get a better idea of what things should look like or just because I thought it would be fun to draw it

With a wave of his hand, Obi-Wan closed the door. And even quicker, he crossed the room and had his hands on Cody's neck, his lips attached to Cody’s, who returned his hasty kiss eagerly. Cody brought his hands to Obi-Wan's waist, then let them wander to the small of his back before interlacing there, keeping him close. When they finally parted, Cody gasped.
“I think this might be addictive.” Cody huffed, too out of breath to really laugh. Obi-Wan rested his forehead against Cody’s, chuckling.
“That might become a problem if that’s the case.” He pressed another kiss to Cody’s lips, drawing back before Cody could return it. “How much time do you have?”
“Half an hour, maybe one if we can come up with a good excuse,” Cody said, apologetic. Obi-Wan nodded, taking his hand and guiding him towards his bed.
“Enough time for a nap, then.” He grinned, lying down on his back. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. “Lie with me?” He patted the empty space beside him, and Cody thought back to the day in Obi-Wan’s quarters in the temple. How he’d wanted to kiss him, and now he was allowed to. He squeezed in next to him on the narrow bed, nowhere as comfortable as the one in the temple.
But that was barely worth the thought as Obi-Wan’s finger moved across the back of his hand, tracing his knuckles. The touch was nice but unfamiliar, and it took him a second to realize that it was intentional. Cody turned to look at him, but Obi-Wan was now staring at the ceiling.
“Your mission would have started today, wouldn’t it?” he suddenly asked. Sighing, Cody turned back to stare at the ceiling, too. He’d almost forgotten about it until this week.
“Yes,” he said. “But it doesn’t matter anymore.” From the corner of his eye he saw Obi-Wan’s head turning, and he faced him. “They’ve reassigned it to someone else when it became clear that we wouldn’t make it back in time.” Obi-Wan looked at him for a moment, something like regret on his face.
“I’m sorry,” he said, quietly. “You have put so much thought into your strategy. But I have to admit I’m a little relieved that I won’t have to let you go.” Cody chuckled.
“No, it’s alright,” Cody assured him. “I was looking forward to it,” he admitted. “But this is so much nicer.” He turned his hand, Obi-Wan’s finger now tracing along his palm. He interlaced their fingers, squeezing gently.
“Less dangerous too,” Obi-Wan joked, grimacing when he must have realized that what he said wasn’t true at all. “Well, it’s my preferred kind of danger.” Cody chuckled. He rolled onto his side, perching up on his elbow until he was hovering over Obi-Wan.
“Mine too,” he said before leaning down and kissing Obi-Wan, slowly at first, deepening it when Obi-Wan returned the kiss enthusiastically. Obi-Wan’s arms found their way around Cody’s middle, pulling just enough for Cody to feel it, with no actual strength behind it. Just a comfortable weight Cody was tempted to give in to. So he did. He let himself be guided, shifting the weight from his arms until he was lying flush with Obi-Wan, chest pressed to chest. And still the weight around him was there, pulling him impossibly close. Obi-Wan hummed into the kiss, the sound vibrating through Cody’s body.
They rested, just like that, for a while, exchanging lazy kissed when they found each other’s lips.
“No one would believe me if I told them how gentle you are,” Obi-Wan suddenly whispered against his lips, nipping at them between words. Pulling back, Cody looked down at him, his brows furrowed but grinning.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” he asked. He knew, of course. Everyone saw him as so stoic and serious. He’s been told many times that that’s probably what makes him work with Obi-Wan so well—that they’re both no fun, all business. He huffed at the thought. Obi-Wan brought his hands up to Cody’s face, resting a thumb on each corner of his mouth, drawing the smallest circles.
“Your resting face can look really intimidating if you don’t know that it’s just because you’re so deep in thought, imagining me in all kinds of situations.” Cody smile fell and he didn’t know how to respond, blinking slowly. Obi-Wan's smile only grew in response. “I might not be able to read your mind, but I see how embarrassed you get when you realize that I’m looking at you, and now I know the reason.” Obi-Wan lifted his head, trying to reach Cody’s lips. He pulled back further, his smile returning.
“Do you want to know how I imagined you?” he teased. To his surprise, Obi-Wan shook his head.
“No,” he said. “I’d rather you show me when we get there.” Cody felt himself blushing again. “I don’t want to get excited about something I can’t have—” Obi-Wan shot upwards again, faster than Cody could react. He grinned into the short kiss. “—yet.”
This time Cody leaned in to kiss him properly, meeting him halfway. It only lasted for a moment, though.
“I need to get back,” Cody said, groaning. Would they ever have longer than this? Obi-Wan sighed but released him from his embrace. Cody rose, straightening his dress uniform as best as he could. Looking down at the creased fabric, he sighed. He should have worn his blacks, or at least something under his uniform so he could have taken it off. Obi-Wan chuckled, seemingly noticing the same.
“You’ll have to find an excuse for that,” he said from where he was still lounging on the bed, nodding towards him. “And that’s something we’ll have to learn to consider. But we still have two more nights on ship to test the crease-resistance of your other clothes.” How did Obi-Wan say these things so nonchalantly while just hearing them left Cody with a racing heart?
Trying to overplay his nervousness, already on his way to the door, he said, “we’ll try something else tomorrow, then.”
His blacks, hidden under his dress uniform until the door has closed tightly behind them, proved to be the winner.

is this a fix-it fic?
Kinda, but not really! I mean it fixes things as in they get to reunite and be together, but... things still happen as they have to happen. It's a "different journey, same destination" kinda thing, if that makes sense? Every bad thing still happens, but they get the chance to have good things, too.

“Are you going to repaint these?” Obi-Wan asked. Cody hummed in question, turning to see what he was talking about.
Obi-Wan was tracing his finger along the orange lines on Cody´s chest piece, sat on the ground where he´d left it earlier that night. In the other hand he held the pauldron attached to it, drawing circles with his thumb over the chipped paint. Cody couldn´t see his face, but he sounded remorseful.
“No,” Cody said. “I don´t think so. I like that it´s a physical representation of everything. Of the damage done.” He paused. “Everything that left its mark.” Cody pulled back his blanket, rising to join Obi-Wan where he was crouching on the floor. He lowered down behind him, pressing a kiss to his exposed nape before bringing his finger to the same spot, tracing the protruding vertebra his lips had just discovered. Cody smiled. Even after all this time, each time they spent together, there was something new. He kissed it again, making Obi-Wan chuckle.
Cody sat down beside him, picking up an elbow guard. There wasn´t as much damage on it, but it has obviously seen its fair share of battles, too. “It´s not that I want to remember these things, but I don´t want to ignore them either. A few of us regularly repaint their armor. They would never admit it, maybe they aren´t even aware, but to me it´s a form of denial.” Obi-Wan hummed in thought.
“I understand,” he said. He was still touching it, carefully as though afraid to damage it further. “It´s just sad that one day this will be gone. The sun that guided me through so many battles.”

Once again recommending donations to the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund. Not only is it a credible organization, you can donate any amount, so even if you don’t have much money, you can still contribute what you can towards humanitarian aid in Gaza. It takes donations via credit, PayPal, and mailed checks.

“Am I even allowed to be here?” Cody asked as they walked through the temple. The war room, other parts that were now used for military purposes, sure. But the depths of the temple, the Jedi´s home?
“You´re here on my invite,” Obi-Wan chuckled. “But even if I hadn´t, you´re always welcome in the temple. You all are.”
When they finally reached the door to Obi-Wan´s quarters and quick fingers flew over the datapad by the door, it opened with a quiet hiss. Cody waited until Obi-Wan had fully stepped into the room before carefully leaned forward, taking a look around what he could see of the room. He was waiting for Obi-Wan´s OK to step in, but instead was pulled inside by his arm. Now seeing the full extent of the quarters, his mouth almost fell open.
“This is nice,” he said. The room was bigger than any single person´s room he´d ever seen, with a big window spanning almost an entire wall. Which Obi-Wan now walked towards, shutting the blinds partly.
“Well, I suppose it is more room than I really need,” Obi-Wan said, something in his tone of voice almost apologetic. But it was probably true. There wasn´t much in the room. A simple table to work and to eat from. Two cushions in the middle of the room, likely for meditation or whatever Jedi did in their free time. A wardrobe. Cody couldn´t help but to wonder how many identical robes it housed, and the thought almost made him chuckle.
The other side of the room held a small counter, though the only thing on it was a kettle and a handful of mismatched mugs. A narrow bed was standing against the wall, surrounded by wooden boards that served as shelves, overfilled with… Stuff. Most of it seemed so random. He looked at it all for a moment, unable to decide what to really look at first, fascinated.
“What is all this?” Obi-Wan smiled, passing Cody to take a little wooden cube off one shelf.
“Little trinkets from places, planets I´ve visited. Some I didn´t visit. A lot of them used to belong to my Master.”
His small smile remained the same, but his eyes betrayed him. “This particular one was a gift from a little girl I met on a mission. Her name was Da’laa,” he said before placing the cube back in its place, already moving on to the next. Cody wanted to ask him about it, but he felt it wasn´t his place. He´d have to do that some other time, some day in the future when they´d gotten to know each other better.
This time, he motioned for Cody to put out his hand, and Obi-Wan placed the next object inside. Cody almost jerked back when he felt its warmth, but Obi-Wan held his hand in place, closing Cody´s fingers around it.
“What is this?” Cody asked, aware that he wasn´t able to hide his surprise. Obi-Wan chuckled, letting go of his hand, allowing him to take a look at it. A small rock was lying in his palm, seemingly burning from the inside, its bright orange glow cracking through the otherwise dark surface. Cody had never seen anything like it.
“It´s a bahryn meteorite. Well, a small piece of one,” he explained, looking at it in Cody´s hand, smiling. “It´s like a tiny sun, isn´t it? Keeping you warm, lighting up the darkness. Quite ironically, it´s an ice moon they are found on.”
“It´s beautiful,” Cody said. He inspected it for a moment longer before he handed it back to Obi-Wan and watched him as he carefully put it back in its place. “Even on a moon made of ice there has to be some warmth. Almost like a reward. You probably appreciate it a lot more after almost freezing to death.” From the corner of his eye he saw Obi-Wan watching him curiously.
“I didn´t know you were so poetic,” Obi-Wan said, something that could so easily sound mocking. But it was genuine. Embarrassed, Cody turned.
“You know all there is to know about me,” he countered. Obi-Wan hummed, passing him to put on the kettle.
“I doubt that,” he said, and something about his certainty made Cody want to argue. Before he could, though, Obi-Wan continued. “What´s your favorite color?” The question took him aback.
“What?” No one had ever asked him that, and yet he found that he didn´t have to think about the answer. Obi-Wan started to repeat the question, but Cody interrupted him. “Green.” Obi-Wan nodded.
“Why?” Cody hesitated. Obi-Wan poured two cups of tea, and even while setting them down, he never stopped looking at Cody for longer than a moment, expectantly. He gestured for him to sit.
“Thank you,” he took the cup Obi-Wan pushed towards him. He hesitated for a moment longer. “Growing up on Kamino…” he began, fumbling with the cup´s handle. “Well, you know what Kamino looks like. I´d never seen trees or grass or anything like that before we left to continue our training here. I´d heard descriptions, variations of what General Ti must have told some of my brothers when we were kids, and they modified it with each telling until it sounded mystical, with glowing leaves and shimmering meadows, whispering in the wind. So before I first saw any of that, I loved the idea of it.” Obi-Wan listened intently, a small smile on his lips.
“Did it look the way you expected it to?” he asked, and Cody huffed.
“Absolutely not. I was disappointed, to be honest. It was just green. But I think it was experiencing it for the first time that made me love the color anyway.” Obi-Wan smiled fondly.
“See? That´s two things I didn´t know about you.” Cody averted his gaze, trying to keep their eyes from meeting. He really hadn´t intended to discuss private matters like that with anyone, so why was it so easy with Obi-Wan? Something about his presence made him want to open up, tell him everything about his past, his thoughts and dreams. It sounded so good, so easy, that for a second, it outweighed the ridiculousness of it and he felt his heartrate rise, a strange feeling spreading through his stomach.
“So what is yours, then?” he asked, ignoring the feeling. Obi-Wan smiled, closing his eyes for a moment.
“I love the colors of the sunrise. Its changing hues and the promise of a new day…” Cody smiled as he watched Obi-Wan get caught up in the thought.
“I didn´t know you were so poetic,” Cody said through a grin.
“Are you teasing me, Commander?” Obi-Wan asked, his tone serious, and Cody felt heat rise in his cheeks.
“I wouldn´t dare to.” There was that feeling in his stomach again. In his chest now, too. Obi-Wan´s serious face fell and his smile returned, growing bigger the longer he looked at Cody. And Cody´s heart was racing, the sound in his ears muffling everything around him. If he wasn´t already sitting, he´d be sure that he was going to faint. It would be so easy now to give in to his feelings, to lean across the table and kiss Obi-Wan. To walk him backwards towards his bed until they stumble onto it, to— Cody wrapped his fingers tightly around the hot mug in his hands, trying to ground himself in reality. It didn´t help much, though. He tried to force the thought out of his mind. Could Obi-Wan sense what he was feeling? Did the Force work like that? Cody hoped not.
“So, Abrion Bridge,” he changed the topic, watching as the smile faded from Obi-Wan´s face.
The next hour or so was a painful one, talking about their failure. It was hard to think of it as anything but. They´d gotten what they went there for, but at a cost so high that it felt pointless. They concluded that there was nothing they could´ve done to change a second of it. Obi-Wan gathered the papers that were spread over the entire desk between them. He´d insisted on making notes and drawing alternative plans on paper, saying that it would help them get a better overview rather than their datapads. And Cody had been amazed at the simple fact that he had paper. Though it made sense for the temple, for the Jedi. It almost had something spiritual, compared to the cold, soulless feeling of the technology and its cold, blue light. Obi-Wan rolled them up now and placed them in the bin, sighing. He headed towards his bed, sitting on the edge and letting himself fall back. Cody had risen too, and was now looking at him, unsure of what to do. Without looking up, Obi-Wan patted the empty space beside him, and Cody hesitated. Could he do that? His feet decided he could before his mind had processed the thought, and he was sitting on the edge beside him.
“I want this all to be over,” Obi-Wan suddenly said. “This war, the endless battles, being told that another person you grew up with has been killed. This endless pain.” Cody wasn´t sure what to say. He turned to him, but Obi-Wan still wasn´t looking.
“I never knew anything else,” he tried, carefully. Finally, Obi-Wan took a deep breath, turning his head to face him.
“But how do you take it? Those men are your brothers. How do you deal with losing hundreds, thousands of them at a time?” His voice sounded so close to breaking, desperate for answers. Answers Cody couldn´t give him. None that would change a thing.
“Well, we were trained from early on, to—we were taught that we were expendable. Where ten of us are killed, they will send ten new ones. They´ll send hundred new ones, a thousand if necessary. I´m not sure if we´re not physically capable of processing it too deeply or for too long, or if we were just trained to pretend that we are fine with it. It is painful every time. But there´s nothing we can do. If we don´t believe we´re expendable ourselves, we might just go insane realizing what´s happening.” Cody huffed, and Obi-Wan stared at him, eyes wide. Cody shrugged. “This is the only purpose we have. We were made for war. They would probably prefer if we couldn´t think on our own at all.”
“You´re awfully aware of something you say you´re not supposed to be aware of.” Obi-Wan´s voice was quiet, sad. “Why is that?” Cody had never thought about why. It just was.
“I´m not sure,” he admitted. “I have just always felt it. Deep down I always knew what was happening.” Obi-Wan hummed, turning back to stare at the ceiling once again, seemingly unsure of what to say.
“I wish we could´ve met under different circumstances.” Cody smiled.
“Under different circumstances, we wouldn´t have met at all,” Cody reminded him and Obi-Wan sighed.
“I know. I just wish we could have a normal friendship, one that isn´t centered around death and destruction and loss.” Cody´s breath stocked for a moment. Obi-Wan considered him a friend. Of course he knew they´d gotten close, but Obi-Wan calling him a friend? Cody knew brotherhood, he´d experienced it thousands of times, but friendship? Was this what friendship felt like? The tingling in his chest when he looked at Obi-Wan lying there, his face contorted in frustration, told him that what he felt was more, even with no prior experience to compare it to.
“It doesn´t have to be,” he said, feeling brave. Obi-Wan glanced at him from the corner of his eye. “It can also be moments like this. Quiet. Where you ask me to tell you things I´ve never told anyone before, and you show me things from all the places you´ve visited. You tell me about your life before this war started.” Obi-Wan smiled.
“I would like that very much.”
“Me too.” Cody´s heart was beating fast. It would´ve been so easy to lean down and kiss Obi-Wan. To caress his cheek, thread his fingers through his hair, and to kiss him. To be pulled against him and held on tightly. Sighing, Obi-Wan sat up straight, pulling Cody out of his thoughts.
“I suppose that will have to wait, though,” he said, mild annoyance in his voice. “I have a meeting with the council this evening.”
“Anything important?” Cody chuckled at his exasperation, and Obi-Wan looked at him with something in his eyes that Cody couldn´t place, something that softened his entire face.
“Yes, quite so,” he sighed. “There have been talks about a mission, and this morning it has been assigned to Anakin and me. We haven´t gotten many details yet, I´m hoping that will change tonight. I´m not a big fan of this secrecy.” Cody smiled. He knew how much Obi-Wan liked to be prepared, they were so similar in that way. Being left without details for so long was excruciating.
“I should get going then,” Cody suggested. “Will you tell me about the plan and let me know before you leave?” Obi-Wan nodded.
“Of course I will,” he said. “I won´t go anywhere without telling you.” Obi-Wan sighed. “And you´re probably right, we don´t want your brothers to start worrying.” There was a twinkle in his eye as he said this, the slightest evidence of a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips, and Cody felt himself getting nervous again.
“Alright.” Cody rose, almost frantically he realized. “I´ll see you then.” He could swear he felt Obi-Wan´s amused look at the back of his neck as he made for the door, desperate to hide the blush he knew Obi-Wan wouldn´t even see. The amusement was there in his voice when he spoke, too.
“I´ll see you, Commander.”

Obi-Wan propped up on one elbow. Cody was just about to fall asleep, but the sudden movement, the dip in the mattress, made him wake.
“Cody?” Obi-Wan whispered. Cody hummed in response.
“Would you still have fallen in love with me if I was a non-human species?” Cody frowned, opening one eye to look up at Obi-Wan, surprised at the question.
“Of course, it would still be you.” Even in the darkness Cody could see that there was something like relief on Obi-Wan´s face, but it quickly disappeared.
“Even if I was a wormish species?” Cody´s confusion was growing, as was the almost anxious, worried tone in Obi-Wan´s voice as his questions became more ridiculous.
“If you still had your personality, of course,” Cody simply said. It was the truth. Obi-Wan got quiet, and Cody hoped it was the end to this weirdly specific conversation. But just when he was preparing to attempt to fall asleep again, Obi-Wan inhaled deeply, letting himself fall back on the mattress. Now it was Cody´s turn to roll over, looking at Obi-Wan. “What is it?” he asked, gently.
“What if I´d been a Hutt?” Obi-Wan asked without looking at him. Cody couldn´t help but snort.
“Well, I strongly doubt that you´d be a Jedi in that case, given their physiology. So we most likely wouldn’t have met.” Obi-Wan smiled a little. “But if we had… Then I´d still love you.” Obi-Wan closed his eyes, humming.
“That´s sweet of you, dear,” he said. “There has been a huttese Jedi, just so you know. It was a long time ago and it didn´t end well.” Cody frowned again. Or did he ever stop? Even if he´d tried, Cody couldn’t have predicted a single turn this conversation took. What had moved Obi-Wan to ask this? What was he worried about? All of those questions would have to wait until morning, as Obi-Wan started gently snoring next to him. Cody shook his head in amused disbelief before going back to sleep too.

kinda funny how after a year of writing about them loving each other, growing old together and whatnot, I finally wrote their first kiss? Who cares about linear writing when you can just jump from one point in the future to ten years back and then five forward again
“Cody, can I just…” he stopped walking, taking hold of Cody´s arm. He´d prepared the words, they were desperate to roll off his tongue, but now he choked on them.
So instead, Cody leaned in and kissed him.
I still don't know people because I clearly don't know how to socialize, so again, everyone who reads this is tagged

Obi-Wan looked up towards the door when he heard the familiar beeping as his access code was put into the datapad outside. It had been so hard to find any time to spend together at all that Obi-Wan had agreed to meet in the middle of the day without a second thought.
“Alright, we have half an hour,” Cody said as soon as the door closed behind him, already beginning to loosen buckles and clips.
“Half an hour?” That was a surprisingly large amount of time, compared to their usual minutes they stole here and there. “What did you tell them?”
“That I needed to use the 'fresher.” Obi-Wan´s raised eyebrows must have been enough of a question, because Cody continued with a shrug, removing his pauldrons in the same movements. “Maybe I had something bad. In fifteen minutes they´ll all start asking each other if anyone else isn´t feeling well.” Obi-Wan chuckled quietly.
“I still wish we had more time,” he said wistfully, perched up on his mattress as he watched Cody expertly remove his armor is swift motions. “I´d love to strip that armor off you piece by piece.”
“One day. When we have more time, we will just spend it taking it off and putting it back on again until you've mastered it,” Cody said laughing.
Obi-Wan watched as Cody slid the thigh piece off his leg. “I need to get my hands on one, then I can practice while you're not there.”
“You could've had one, if you'd listened to me,” Cody reminded him.
Obi-Wan rolled his eyes in pretended annoyance. Cody was right, as he so often was, but he wouldn't tell him that right now. Right now he was standing in front of him, every piece of plasteel finally removed. His blacks clung to his body like a second skin, accentuating every soft curve and hard edge. He would not risk an argument that would keep Cody out of his bed for a second longer than necessary. Cody pulled on the fabric tightly hugging his chest before letting it snap back.
“On or off?”
“Keep it on,” Obi-Wan said. He had only removed his outer tunic and boots earlier himself. While it was nice, they never had to be naked to feel intimacy. Besides; “peeling it back on later would waste at least another five minutes.” Cody crawled into bed next to Obi-Wan, their arms naturally finding their way around each other. “How much time is left?”
Cody propped his chin up on Obi-Wan´s arm, looking at the little clock on the nightstand there. “Twenty-thee minutes and–” he paused, tapping Obi-Wan´s back in the rhythm of the seconds. “Thirty seconds. I´ll set an alarm.” He reached over, rolling Obi-Wan onto his back in the process. He sighed, but Cody´s weight pressing the air from his lungs turned it into a long exhale. He brought his arms back around Cody, rolling him off him just slightly.
“This is nice,” Obi-Wan said, and a pleased hum agreed with him.
The alarm, though quiet, startled both of them. The passed minutes had felt like hours and seconds at the same time, and if it hadn´t been for the reminder, they could´ve spent days just like that. But instead, Obi-Wan was now closely watching Cody reassemble his armor, as quickly and efficiently as he had removed it. He kissed him goodbye before he left, and not long from now he would greet Cody on the bridge as though they were meeting for the first time that day. He would have to try really hard to not look at all the well-hidden mechanisms of his armor closures and remember how to open each of them.
* * *
A bloody puddle had formed underneath Cody by the time Obi-Wan found him. He dropped to his knees beside him, his hands coming up to hold his face instinctively, and a wave of relief washed over him when Cody´s eyes slowly blinked open. He had trouble focusing, his eyes wandering, but when they finally locked with Obi-Wan´s that´s where they stayed.
“A shuttle is on its way. Where are you hurt?” Obi-Wan asked, trying to calm his voice. Cody shook his head weakly, mouthing something that looked like don´t know. “Alright, everything is going to be fine.” Obi-Wan wasn´t sure if it was Cody or himself he tried to reassure. He started patting down his armor firmly, watching Cody´s face closely for any reaction. “I might need your help here, so stay with me, alright dear?” Cody nodded, a faint smile on his lips as his eyes already threated to fall shut again. “Eyes open,” Obi-Wan said sharply, watching him until they were, before he carefully rolled him onto his side. He began to unfasten the armor, carefully figuring out the different mechanisms. He´d seen Cody do it, he´d even shown him before, but right now his shaking fingers needed a moment before he remembered and started removing the pieces. First the chest, his belt and plackart. He felt the panic rise inside him when none of it revealed a wound. “I can´t find the source of the bleeding. If you could just tell me–” his voice broke.
“I´m sorry. Can´t feel anything,” Cody mumbled. With a huff that seemed to take all the strength he could muster, he continued, “Now you get to remove the armor all by yourself.” Obi-Wan huffed in surprise.
“Definitely not how I imagined it.” He continued with his leg armor, and when he removed the second thigh piece, he finally found it, just underneath the armor piece´s rim. Despite the amount of blood he´d lost it wasn´t a big wound, though something was lodged deep inside it, and Obi-Wan didn´t dare to move it. With a string of fabric he ripped off Cody´s calf, he bound the wound tightly. “You´ll be alright,” he reassured the both of them, exhausted by the wave of relief that washed over him. "You're going to be fine."
And as if on cue, the roar of the incoming shuttle grew louder and louder.

I've been told I have a confusing way to write, as in I work on all parts at once and have a document just titled "scenes to insert somewhere later" for stuff that popped up in my mind but I can't place yet and one separate document just for a mission that takes place,, somewhere. Which means I have absolutely no idea which one I've actually worked on last, so here's one of four options
"How does that plan sound?" Cody stopped walking, forcing Obi-Wan to do the same. He looked around at the hundreds of people walking past, none of them paying even a second of attention to them, and for a moment, Cody considered kissing him right there and then.
"It sounds absolutely perfect"
I literally don't know anyone on here so I don't know who to tag, so whoever sees this, you're tagged!

Obi-Wan and Cody
He is so much younger than you, but ready to give his life for what he's created to believe in. Each day you are forced to send him to his potential death. And you love him
One day he's finally caught up with you, though you have always been equals. And you love him.
Then suddenly you're younger than him. Only by a few years, but you're holding his battle-worn body as he takes his last breath. And you love him.

Obi-Wan stepped out of the cabin, stilling when he caught a glimpse of himself in the foggy mirror.
“What´s wrong?” Cody asked as he stepped out behind him, approaching Obi-Wan. His hands came up to rest on Obi-Wan´s waist, wet skin on wet skin. A puddle had already started forming around their feet. He caught Cody´s eyes in the reflection, their gazes locking for just a moment before Obi-Wan averted his eyes, smiling.
“Nothing,” he said, slowly shaking his head.
“Alright,” Cody whispered, leaning in to kiss Obi-Wan´s cheek, then pulled back to grab a towel to wrap around Obi-Wan, then one for himself. He dried himself off before wrapping it around his hips. “Coming?” he asked, already heading for the door.
“Give me a minute,” Obi-Wan said, “I need to take care of… this,” gesturing around his head.
Cody chuckled softly. “Alright, you get prettied up and I will get ready and start preparing breakfast.”
With that, he left Obi-Wan to stand in front of the mirror, his fingers first raking through his hair, then his beard. He stroked his chin, his mustache. It would grow back before they fly back, he mused. He´d never really thought about it, but it has been years since he´d last seen himself without his beard. He hummed in thought.
Cody had prepared a simple breakfast and brought it back to their bedroom. When he found it still empty, he huffed, shaking his head. “Are you still in there? This life is starting to make you vain,” he called, chuckling. He put the tray back on their bed, then sat down beside it, waiting. It didn´t take long for the door to open and Obi-Wan to step out.
Cody was too stunned to speak. He could do nothing but stare at him, his mouth agape. Realization hit Cody. He´d felt Obi-Wan´s lips on every part of his body. He´d touched them, tasted them. But this was the first time he saw them, fully. Saw their shape, the way the skin around them moved as he spoke, the way their corners curled when he smiled as he asked, “what?”
Cody closed his mouth, trying to gather words inside it for a moment. “You shaved,” he stated.
Obi-Wan chuckled. “Is it that bad?” He brought his hand to his face, stroking the skin usually hidden by ginger hair.
“Not at all,” Cody replied quickly, almost tripping over the words. He still hasn´t been able to stop staring at him, taking him in. His eyes landed on his chin, his dimple there. It was such an arbitrary thing to think about, he knew that, but he realized that he´d never seen Obi-Wan´s chin before, either. He´s been with that man for the past three years, and he´s just now learning what he looks like. “Come here,” he whispered, pushing the tray to a safe distance.
Obi-Wan strode over, smiling. He put his hands on Cody´s shoulders, then brought his knees up on the bed on each side of him, straddling his legs. He still hadn´t gotten dressed, his towel parting with the movement until it came loose, and he sat atop Cody´s lap unclad. His hands clasped behind Cody´s neck.
“So you like it?” he asked, grinning, the motion wrinkling his face´s exposed skin. Cody´s finger stroked one of the lines it created. How has he never seen this before?
“I love it,” he whispered. “You are gorgeous.” He leaned forward, kissing the corner of his mouth. His finger wandered to Obi-Wan´s chin, resting on the newly discovered dimple, nesting his finger perfectly, as though it was made for the sole purpose of this. He went on to kiss Obi-Wan´s jaw, then a proper kiss onto his lips. “You feel so soft,” he whispered, his other hand coming up to stroke his cheek. Obi-Wan chuckled against his lips, into the kiss.
